I didn't realize this was a "thing", watching this and reading the comments. One of my friend's wives did this EXACTLY. It was the same crummy "jewelry". "Water Crystals", "birthstones", "aquamarine". "lampwork"....not even good costume jewelry, just junk. She would just buy bags of crap, assemble it, and voila, JEWELRY. So cringe. Another friend's wife did a bunch of nothing jobs, now does in-home yoga massage. She is 60, acts like she is 17. Another friend's wife, as other posters in this have mentioned, actually did the Amway deal....spent alot of money, made no money, then did Postmates (quit, "too much driving), and now does "home health care". Geez.

In LA, if a woman tells you “She designs jewelry “ that means she comes from a rich family and has never had a real job. If she has a brother, than he is a “Music Producer” because he has a mic and a computer in the basement.

It's funny I did my first trade that I went to school for worked about 10 plus years in that field but just grew unhappy so I left. Work some corporate jobs, banking then claims processor for insurance, as I figured out what I wanted to do. I remember that feeling of what do you do to be happy but I really lucked out and I found a field that I'll work in the rest of my life I truly love what I do for work. Through Friends of family, I got an opportunity to be a Live in caregiver and have been in that field now for 10 years and I absolutely love it. I work independently Just me and the client and their family and it's worked out really well financially I'm doing pretty good but being able to choose to clients I want to work with I always meet a few times before accepting a job make sure it's right. It's a great feeling that I can be there for someone and help them day in and day out I know it's not a job for everyone but I seem to have the temperament and patience for it. I hope more people can find their thing that makes them happy cuz when you do find a position you like you don't have a job anymore Now you have a career that you're happy to share with people and that's a good feeling
