Processing mud to Pottery Clay

This is my back woods way of processing my own clay for pottery using items found around the house. This process works for any dirt you dig up. Upper Black River / Trenton formation bentonite found near river right above the Chickamauga Dam, Tennessee. It is green, calcareous, and shaley. Fired to an orange color at cone 04, a small sample melted at cone 6.

I lived in sugar house , I’d ride this park at night with my kids . The homeless problem at night is fucking crazy !!! Sometimes it was okay to skate at night , I’ve watched dudes fist fight themselves . You’d have random fools come tough talk ya . Be ready to fight , you’ll end up in one .
@@ToddThurgood now a days some of the kid skaters start fist fights. Really have to be careful if someone at a park gives attitude, and then sometimes there are groups of kids starting problems. But I’ve only seen it get bad at West Valley Skate park when a dozen kids decided to have fight club right on the side.
