What was the problem on why you had to change the regulator? My problem is I have to purge the fuel line to be able to restart the truck after it’s been warm.

Do you have to do any splicing ti bypass the voltage regulator or just unplug it?

Can a failing ignition switch cause fluctuating voltage on the green exciter wire going to the alternator? I've got no charge and readings jumping around of 12v,16v, 14v, and even 20v for a moment on that wire with the engine running.

Can you tell me where the yellow & blue wire connects too ? Please

I did this on my 91, man it was a pain in the ass specially if you have a convertible and you are doing the intermediate. Funny story is, I bought a grouping of parts many years ago and in those parts was a brand new set of stainless lines so I said what the heck, why not? I did the front first and that cured me of that for awhile, later on I wanted to replace my vapor vent line and while cutting the clamp that holds it to the brake line under the car I ended up cutting the brake line by accident, man I was so pissed 😂 so I had no choice but to replace it, I had to drop the convertible strengthening plates cause the brake line goes under it, if you want to make it 80 % easier drop that plate, if not you'll be fighting trying to route that line. Good thing about all this is once you are done you will have some killer stainless lines under your ride and they will last forever.

Is the shifter level or at a slight angle?

A-1 Video , I understand everything you said , I pulled the 2.2 and 4L60E Automatic trans , The E in the 4L60E means Electric. As in Electric shifting , I changed motor mounts and Engine mounts to accept a small block V-8 Chevy 350 cubic inch Engine and 350 Turbo Trans , So I'm installing a floor shifter and the column shifter has to be completely removed , The column shifter has already been removed , Your video showed me the rest , Thanks

I have pro 5.0 shifters in 2 cars. In both thr top bult backed out after a while . I bought longer bolts and safety nuts. Now good. I see now you have too.

Hey man, I need some help. My situation is, before my terminator X install I got spark while cranking. After my install I do not get spark while cranking. The red with blue stripe wire that hooks onto the starter solenoid gets power when cranking, no spark, if I turn the ignition on, then power the same red with blue stripe wire with a power probe, Car starts. I can power it in the engine bay or under the dash at the brown with pink stripe on the ignition switch, still starts, same voltage when cranking with key or using the power probe. I do have a dual sync distributor that just plugs straight into the terminator X harness. On that grey connector behind the strut tower I found the wire bottom right of the gray connector that has key on power and cranking 12v. If I put that orange and green wire to my coil positive. Still no spark. I’m at a loss.

Really recommend a alt rewire and upgraded alternator if you haven't already. Dealt with a ton of issues with my buddies car, it has electrics fans, electric pump and msd, and would run at first fine then would start missing. Carb swapped just like yours. Issues when away with alt upgrade and rewire
