Hi, I'm Mirko! I make videos about Japan /Japanese. Subscribe for good luck!
I'm originally from Germany (as you can probably easily tell by my accent ha!) but I've somehow always liked Japan and the Japanese Language. Tradition, modernity and a hint of of craziness - it's a fascinating country. Don't you agree? Let's discover Japan on UA-cam together and learn some Japanese, Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji while we're at it.

I got it, epic. Fortunately I knew all the words, so that makes it easier.
exactly what i was lookin for after knowing all hiragana alphabets, it helped :), thanks.
It’s hard to defer meaning of plain hiragana with no context, for example, the one that said き was 木 but could have also been 気, an example sentence might help some
Yknow the crazy thing is Id have recognized more of those words if you used kanji rather than hiragana. Like くすり i would have insta recognized if you used 薬.
this made me realize how awful i am at the m's , n's and h's 🥲
I learned hiragana in 1 day cuz my friend taught me them and told me the associations and we were taking hiragana test all day
I love this! Got them all, but I was a bit slower on the last one, haha.
I just can't do the extreme level because I'm not fluently learned hiragana
i got everything right, im proud of myself
Glad you've made it! 🔥🔥
Опа, круто.
Feels good when you’re consistent everyday with learning and start getting them right
What about huáng? That one’s _172_ strokes.
I love japanese english more than the original one..anime made it more appealing
I got them all right
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY 10/10
へいしゃ->heisha is like “Barracks” and “our company” So 兵士 is へいし
hi,i don't like the sound of AI
Oh my god, Mirko thank you very much, this is helping me a lot to practice memorize and reading. Thank you for your hardship Mirkoo you are so kind 💐💐 Love youuuu❤🎉
Please remember: I only included both the Katakana and Hiragana so you can practice reading. You will usually not see jobs like パイロット or コック written in Hiragana.
My favorite animal is うさぎ usagi (rabbit) (lapin) 🐰
It’s interesting how some of the kanji really help with remembering the animal. Thanks for including them in this “hiragana nouns” video :)
How cute. Please make more video ❤
Can you do Colors and Number of Objects? In Japanese Language.
I will remember washi (Eagle) because of Washington DC!
What's your favorite animal? Write the answer in both Japanese / English so we can all learn even more animals together! 🚀
I ONLY MISSED THE LAST ONE SAIGO NO MONO WA MAJISUKE MUZUKASHI
Next Lesson of words in Kanji
Thank you very much :)
Thank you for an useful video :D ありがとうございます
Sometimes I really don't get how Kanji's are formed, because the word kosame has 3 hiragana characters but 2 kanji characters 小雨. The last one is "ame" but as far as I know there is no "kos", but there is ko and sa, should it not be kosaame then?
Japanese is weird… It took me a while to get used to as someone who knows Chinese.
As a standalone word, yes あめ would be the reading. However, as a kanji in a larger word it can be pronounced a ton of ways (ウ、あめ、あま-、-さめ). That last one is how it's being pronounced here. An example of a word with that kanji read differently is the word 雨天 (うてん / uten) meaning "rainy weather".
This took forever to make! If you enjoyed it, please like and comment. Also comment if you find a mistake ;)
I appreciate your effort, thank you!!
I got everything right! ありがとうございます!!!
Could read everything phonetically in the time frame but couldn’t tell you what 25% of the words meant 😂
Excellent presentation. Great icons.
If you ignore the last couple (As they really should have kanji to make 3 sec realistic), there was only a couple of words that I read but messed up the pronunciation a little in a rush (Like saying Me instead if Mi) Not sure if I want to know how much worse I would go on a katakana version though.
I feel you, doesn't matter how long I keep learning, I'll always struggle to read Katakana fast haha.
This test were pretty all around in terms of hiragana, As well as Im pretty much still in hiragana😅😅 so pretty thanks!
Glad it was of use to you! Keep going!
I admit the last part was a little bit mean hehe. Usually these sentences would be written with some Kanji, which makes it easier to read if you know them. Did you get all of the words right?
As a Chinese, I feel most of the Kanji are also Hanzi, except for the last one. I just feel the last one is created by a 中二病 Japanese dude who is way too addicted to the Buddhist culture, and it looks Japanese just by looking at it. 🤣
I'm happy we in West have so simple alphabet: only 26 letters (+ few diacritics like in French, Polish, German), each with no more that some 2-5 strokes
That's right! Easy to learn and remember.
Pretty sure 四 is five strokes, not four. Otherwise, great video!
Ah whoops! You are right! My bad ;)
All the strokes are wring
three people tree and rest lol :3
haha yeah!
How many Kanjis can you write?
Probably about 200, and like 20 hanzi. Im learning but im really bad at memorization 😭
@@SakuraScythe that's good! consistency is key!
Probably 500 mostly hard ones like Utsu in case of confusion, but I was fluent in Japanese and lived in Nagoya, now I'm only fluent in Chinese but I can only write hanzi confidently on phone and never learnt the handwriting
I got the 70% :3
the long words is still hard to read but i can finally read most of it under 3seconds😭
That’s why people always asks “what are you saying💀” and or why you talk so fast”😮
I didn’t realize I was speaking English Japanese
You are wrong. Not ストラベリ, but ストロベリー. Not マックドナルド, but マクドナルド.
You’re right
I got them all, yay!
I got a lot of th word right but, some of them i mispronounced but that was fun and i liked it 😊
Need suggestions. So I now learnt hiragana. Should I first practice it to read it faster and recognize or should I start learning katakana and start learning some words. How should I learn japanese?
