How to: Install Microsoft Project onto a PC
Here is the original video that helped me figure out how to install Microsoft Project Professional 2021 onto my PC:
ua-cam.com/video/trBiNOrb-r8/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TechnologyHardware%26Software
Hey Ese here!
Here are the steps I wrote down so you can just follow this if you prefer!
Step 1:
Access to a key through any means you wish, note this down.
Create folder on your desktop called { project professional 2021 setup } this is where we to hold the following things:
Config file
install.bat file
setup.exe
Step 2: Go onto the Microsoft developer website to create the credentials (XML file) including your key (select MKA) that you will then export the config file and save it into that folder you just created. Export the XML file to the folder and make sure its named Configuration.xml (but this should be the default name)
config.office.com/deploymentsettings
Step 3: Create the install.bat file using the notepad app enter the following into it and then save it as install.bat and all text into that original folder we created at the start.
```
setup.exe /configure configuration.xml
```
learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/office2019/deploy#sample-configurationxml-file-to-use-with-the-office-deployment-tool
Step 4: Go to the following link and download to your computer save it somewhere like the downloads folder then run it by clicking on it and when prompted to extract it, extract it to the folder we made.
Delete all the files that came with it and it should leave you with just the three things.
www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117
Now you need to run it. Do this by double clicking the install.bat file and then accept or allow the admin permissions that pop up.
This can take some time so be patient and best to restart you PC if you need to after it's finished.
Trouble shooting:
Keep the name as US English
If it says there is a conflict with other Microsoft 365 software on there then you might need to use the tool it prompts you to uninstall it and then attempt the process again from the run folder.
If it uninstalled your personal M365 then you can add it back in after and it should still work okay.
Thanks and I hope it helps someone else out there!

    Very much appreciated the relaxed pace and way of speaking in this video in contrast to how most influencers act nowadays. Sharges naming convention baffles me, and how they make it difficult to fully understand the differences between their product lineup. I have been looking for a comparison between these two units so thanks for the video!

    In pass-through charging mode, if the input power source is removed, does the output cut out or renegotiate? How about when input power is connected again? I'm wondering if this would be suitable for an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) scenario for a mini PC.

    • @mrtwomore
      @mrtwomore Місяць тому

      Hey Kevin, that’s a good question I’ll play around with it today and let you know. I have used it in a UPS style format which is quite useful for my video camera but as the battery was full on the camera battery I’m unsure if it actually maintained a constrain charge or briefly disconnected and then reestablished connection. So I’ll try it this evening with a light source that has no internal battery and see if it has a drop-off/disconnection between me removing the power source and the battery taken over on the power bank.

    • @mrtwomore
      @mrtwomore Місяць тому

      Okay after my rudimentary testing with a video light and also following up it up with testing my phone charging on it. I can confirm that if you remove the power input from the powerbank it WILL drop the charging on the output for about a second and then rehandshake it seems. So as a UPS I don't think that this is the option you want. Thanks Ese

    The adjustable DC output is the only feature worth the price point of these batteries. I'm shocked no one makes a big deal out of that. I use that port just as much as I use the USB ports.

    • @mrtwomore
      @mrtwomore 2 місяці тому

      You know what? That is a really good point. I think I overlooked this as I didn't find this a useful aspect of the storm 2 personally but I should've included this point of difference, I can definitely see how useful it could be in certain situations! Thanks for making that point, Ese.

    • @falsedragon33
      @falsedragon33 2 місяці тому

      I can see that. I suppose for most, usbc bridged all the gaps. But for a engineer or the ham radio type, that adjustable power allows you do do things that required a bench supply. So nice for portable troubleshooting. I wish it had constant current mode, but I try not to t to be too greedy.

    • @mrtwomore
      @mrtwomore 2 місяці тому

      Great question the Storm 2 has the ability to show individual and total wattage of the ports. Meanwhile the 170 only shows a total and I can’t see a way to seperate the values of each port.

    I reviewed this recently. I really wanted to like it. It’s a nice, small, attractive drive, but the case design is awful - having to open the door to use etc. I get there’s no way round this but still. More concerning is the lack of reliability with Windows. It wasn’t detected half the time but works perfect on MAC. Ended up returning mine for refund in the end.

    Huge thumbs up for this video, thank you. My AIO cooler failed and it is the replacement of the original. I think the QA on those is just too poor and they get contaminants in the liquid causing the pump to clog. Any I decided I have had enough of the AIO and went with the NH-D15 which I don't have yet, but in preparation for it I almost completely removed all four screws on the stock brackets. So glad I watched this and did not.

    Hey there, i liked the video, i prefer your calm way of speaking over the "loud" youtubers any day! But it feels like it's a bit short to be an in depth review, i'm missing the cold specs like what kind of fast charging do they provide, how do they split up power when multiple devices are charged, can you charge the bank with a device connected and does that change the charging rate of the device? Maybe it's because you've assumed we'd know that already or you forgot because you personally already got that information from other reviews of the powerbank. Other than the missing information (for me), I liked your approach of making those reviews, it was informative and detailed, perfect for someone who has read about the device, but looked for more information that will not be on their website. Have a good day!

    When buying the Noctua cooler you should check the compatibility online with your case so you don't have to "cross your fingers". I was using an MSI MAG Coreliquid 360r but it fell victim to the usual sediment buildup so I have replaced it with a Noctua NH D15 Chromax. It's a huge ugly brute but it works and side effect is that I've been able to lose the 360 radiator which was blocking airflow into my PC.

      Hi! A couple things I have come across since having it. 1. Sometimes the software needed to shut down and reopened to get it to connect to the screens attached to the USB dongle. 2. Try with one screen plugged in and then see if the display link software can recognise them. 3. Check in the system preferences to see if the display set up is mirror or extend. You might be able to play around with some of those settings to see if that intiates a connection. 4. Check resolution and refresh rate set up in the same display preferences incase there is an issue there. I hope you get to the bottom of it all! Ese

    I was about to take my motherboard out of my case before watching your video. This saved me lots of time and effort. Thank you!!
