I agree with most of it, but New London 😮. I haven't been there in a while. But back in the late 90s and early 2000, I was there almost every other weekend visiting friends, and I never really thought of it as one of the best towns of CT.

Morris NY, nice little town, definitely won't compete on your top 10, however, I would like to argue with your use of the word "small" lol, I guess. I would love to see a top ten of the real Small Towns/villages, I mean places like Morris, Barly 500 people, if that.

I have been to or driven through all but Greenport. Yes they are beautiful places to visit. But other must sees are Letchworth and Chautauqua Lake areas. Both beautiful. Niagara Falls is good if you only look at the falls, but the city itself is a dumpster fire.

There's no such thing as the West Point Military Academy.; there is, however, the United States Military Academy which is located at the place on the Hudson River known as West Point (it's also the name of the nearby village). You don't refer to the Annapolis Naval Academy nor the Colorado Springs Air Force Academy, do you?

I live in Buffalo, NY and I go to Watkins Glen ALL the time It's so much fun NY is so big, but so many people only know it for NYC, and maybe Buffalo because of the Buffalo Bills, or wings. There's so much to explore in the state. In WashingtonVille, there is where the oldest winery, Brotherhood, in the entire US is. It was built in the 1830s and was restored after the Civil War. They do tours and it's so fun

this city has its charms and it’s drawbacks. most of the drawbacks come from the fact that those who shit on the city just up and leave, rather than bothering to look for the beautiful pockets of community and excitement there is. if it seems kinda abandoned, that’s because it is. a lot of the population is in poverty and there’s a good number of elderly folks too. those who love it aren’t always able to show others what the place is worth.

Penn Yan the drive is absolutely beautiful! Amazing lakes. The village itself is not great. Skaneateles is literally perfect. Clayton is absolutely beautiful. Watkins Glen is amazing! Lake Placid is awesome perfect!

I was born in Laconia, and have lived in Lancaster NH. NH is and beautiful, i live in Virginia now. I miss the beauty and simplistic life. I dont miss a 2-3 month summer, or below zero months.
