The Austin Woolen Mill - how to make yarn
Today we tour a new wool processing business and see how yarn is produced from sheep and alpaca fleece. Special thanks to Brian and Lynda for taking the time to explain the process and letting me come document things. The Austin Woolen Mill has a store anyone can visit if you're in the Austin, Manitoba area.

Allis Chalmers 716H Running a Snowblower - Winter showed up!
Переглядів 5664 місяці тому
Winter finally showed up in the new year, and now we're getting some snow that needs to move out of my way. Here's the old Allis-Chalmers 716H garden tractor, to which I've rigged an even older Allis Chalmers snow blower (aka a snow thrower). Here's what I did to make this work and some footage of blowing some snow out of my driveway...mostly into my eyes. Enjoy!
The Cheapskate Farming Finale - Farming Simulator 22 on the cheap!

This is the end! I'm not working past Christmas, so I have two game months to wrap this up and hit my goal using only the cheapest equipment, land and buildings in Farming Simulator 22. It's been a fun challenge to do; thanks to those who watched and to those who gave some suggestions. Stick around for the finale!
Cheapskate Farming V - Building furniture and taking odd jobs; the push for $150,000 (FS22)

This is Cheapskate Farming, the challenge where I try to play Farming Simulator 22 and make back 10% of my starting money by being the cheapest farmer possible. By only buying the cheapest land, equipment and buildings, can I turn my $1.5 Million starting cash into a modest return on investment, or will I fail because nobody is going to buy my Ikea furniture after it was left out in the rain?

In the second episode I develop my yard (cheaply of course), finally buy a tractor, but still don't make a single dollar! In this challenge I can only buy the cheapest buildings and the cheap used equipment at the shop in an effort to make $150,000 in revenue on my initial invested $1.5 Million. It's not going well, as you may expect. Oh well.

I recently recovered some old Mini DV camcorder footage of the field testing of a restored 1931 Model A Gleaner combine. I have re-edited the original footage into this new video, which shows the machine being brought out to thrash some wheat in the field. Great job on this video! You clearly explained and demonstrated how it sounds and how to set up all the features it offers. It’s a great amp and anyone looking for a comparable practice amp from Orange, Blackstar, Marshall, etc. needs to check this one out. Due to its price, sound, features and size it definitely should be considered. Thank you for a job well done

Jeffrey, thank you for this tour. I was pleased to see the Luebben hay baler that Gilbert Vust restored. What a fine piece of work. This was the invention of my great grandfather Melchior and his brother Ummo Luebben and Gilbert paid such a tribute to the invention by reserecting this Luebben Baler.

Hello Jeffery - although a couple of years have passed by since you made this video, it is still very useful. You are a similar type of player to me from what I could tell! Yours is the first video I have seen that features a quick and simple demo of how to use the foot switch which is really helpful. I actually understood what you were telling me! Looks ideal for my purposes. I wondered if you could tell me what sort of weight the L25 is? I keep my gear in one room and move it to another out the back when I want to play, so if this amp isn't too heavy that'd be ideal. I've also seen people mention that you can dial the volume down with the Master without losing any real quality in the tone coming out of the amp - what's your opinion on that? Anyway, sorry to bombard you with Qs, I don't mean to be a pain, but any info you can share would be very gratefully received! Appreciated the video - great stuff. All the best from me in the UK. Cheers! PT x

I haven't weighed it, but I'd say its not hard to move around at all. Maybe 10 lbs? Next day off I have I'll go weigh it; if you don't hear from me, it was around 10 lbs. Sound quality to my un-trained ears was good at any volume level I've played at so far. I wouldn't say lowering the master volume took away anything from the quality of the sound. Thanks for watching! (From Canada)

Good Will has stores that "we" call the "Bins Stores". Just like what you shown but piles and piles of basically what doesn't sell at the stores. Sold by the pound.

    • @jeffreyverse

By the pound? That's a different concept. I know local thrift stores will do "bag days" where you fill one plastic shopping bag of whatever you want for a set fee. I wish Krazy Binz would do one of these methods for the last couple days to clean up the leftovers.

When I try to plug my guitar into the amp nothing happens, when I go to the tuner part and try and play it doesn’t make any noise or show on the little screen, is there something wrong with my cable ?

    • @jeffreyverse
      @jeffreyverse 4 місяці тому

Hard for me to say, but it could be. If the amp didn't respond at all to the tuning...your volume on the guitar itself is up all the way?

I couldnt agree more!👍 I took up playing guitar 4 years ago as i was approaching the ripe old age of 60. The electric guitar package came with its own little basic amp. After a while, i wanted to experiment. So i bought the Fender Mustang LT25. One of the best expenditures i have ever invested in!👍😁 Purchased the footswitch after a few months and i have now been using this amp on a regular basis. Normally 3-4 sessions a week. Highly recommended for any beginners.👍👍👍🤜🤜🤜

I have to try that sometime. I always wondered why bother with the flat deck since in the list of products there never seemed to be an "off-map" sell point for bales and stuff. That would be handy if you're making bales close to a train track. Just rent the train!
