I’ve ran about 400+rnds of pmc 115gr fmj bass case through mine and only had one light primer strike so far which could have just been an ammo issue, could’ve been the gun as well. Personally I believe it was just a bad round, only due to the fact the gun has run phenomenally for me otherwise. I did reach out to canik yesterday just to see if I could get the “Heavy” guide rod/recoil spring but that’s only cause I’m curious of the difference in use of different ammo types. the only complaint I have so far, is I wish they would’ve done a threaded comp rather then a detent/pinned comp with the notched barrel. But we will see with time what they come out with for aftermarket options/upgrades.

Is the PDP really worth it for the price when you get those crappy sights and you still have to upgrade the recoil system? Why not get an M&P 2.0 add a Apex flat trigger and call it a day?

Great little review! I'm a newbie and I picked one of these up a few weeks ago, had my local gun shop order one for me. I changed the factory guide rod to the ZR ultra mass, put on some Night Fision sights, and my holosun 507C will be in Friday. I also picked up an Olight for it as well. I love it! I don't have anything to compare it to but coming from a newbie, I think it is awesome. It's easy to shoot for me, and fits great in my hand as well.

I experience light primer strikes. Every magazine at least one or two or more. It’s embarrassing to even try to shoot it in from of people.

Canik was saying “limp wrist” and “high powered ammunition” may be leading to a malfunction. I have never had a malfunction with a Glock after thousands and thousands of rounds. I don’t have limp wrists so really curious what will be the outcome of this gun

I've found the Arc performance better terminally due to speed operating the jackets better. It also gets the CX and TTSX great out to 200 where the 6.5 G struggled.

I’m not so sure I would say it can’t be the ammo for the one light strike. I absolutely have gotten just one bad primer before in name brand ammo. To which gun is better is totally based on the shooter. But it looks like yall definitely need to practice a bit more. You shouldn’t be pulling any shots at 15 yards or even 20 yards when you have that big of an A-Zone to hit. You guys are way too comfortable throwing shots and just saying eh whatever it was me slapping the trigger or that was my cold first shot of the day. Those aren’t very good excuses especially in Leo or armed security work. Work on the fundamentals, when you do the fundamentals well and consistent you won’t be throwing shots nearly as much. Saying that shadow systems and caniks are race guns also I’m not sure Is completely accurate. Definitely canik has some race driven guns but I see dudes with stock glocks shooting matches and winning. It all comes down to the shooter. I’m really not trying to talk down on the video or y’all’s shooting but I learned after my 15 years of shooting pistols that if u do the fundamentals well you’re pretty proficient with most pistols you shoot. you have to use 124 grains.

You're shooting "too fast," bc you're slapping the trigger. I noticed both of y'all were tucking your heads down into the sights. Bring it up to your eyes, not bending your neck to see through the sites. You're not shooting so fast that it sounds like one round. Literally not possible. Other than that, it's good to know the heavy spring might make a difference. I have my spring coming in the mail and hopefully it fixes the ftrtb.

You should show some accuracy test at 100/200+ yards I can’t decide if I want a monolithic upper design or this now seen zero testing bc it’s such a new rifle and that would help me get this one. Im worries the hand guard loosing over time bc the charging handle and causing inaccurate also would love to know how to clean the bag and barrel since the charging handle is not in the back???

FYI buy an extended mag 35$ so if you can’t get the mag out this won’t be a problem anymore

just wanted to leave this review, i bought the cankik tti combat on saturday and shot it today! Put about 150 rnds thru it ! 124 grain range ammo. My stepson bought one too same day shot with me same amount of ammo. Both of us, not a single issue! Shot like a dream! I was concerned because i hadnt seen any of the issue videos until after i bought it lol! So was nervous but not a single issue! Love it oh and bought an HK vp9 compact as well shot that one too no issues love that one too ;)

I bought the Mete SFT Pro that has the same trigger as the TTI, and then had the barrel ported and for way less than the cost of TTI. Runs like a dream!

I actually only had an issue with meocanik red dot and they sent a new one within 4 or 5 days. I never had an issue with the actual gun yet

Pulled mine apart to check for wear on the firing pin. Looks great after about 300 rounds. No issues and never had an issue with mine.

You guys should at least have tried the light recoil spring! Might have shot even better. A 15 lb in a Rival poly frame helps alot. Considering that is close to a rival with a comp, the spring might be sweet. Nice video, thank you!

So I had all the issues with mine. I sent it in, got it back with the new spring and striker. Ran about 400-500 rounds through it with no issue, then suddenly the issues returned. I sent it back in again and they replaced the entire gun (it’s their policy if you send a gun in twice for the same issue). With the brand new replacement one I had 2 failure to return to battery in the first mag, but since then it’s been ok… so far. I’m 650 rounds in, running 3 different brands and a mix of 124 and 115. Gonna get past 1000 rounds this week for sure.

It would be a help to all of us owning these that canik let us know what's going on. Possibly a ammunition choice problem?
