I don't understand how Mae failing the task of killing a Jedi without a weapon is bad writing... It's just a failure, that's all. The whole point of the task was that it would be difficult and nearly insurmountable. It was literally her rite of passage to becoming his Apprentice. It was never meant to be a simple easy task 🤷‍♂...

The Palpatine voice was a wonderful impression... of how he sounded after revealing himself in Revenge of the Sith 😅... Which I wouldn't mind during the scene where he murders his family (that actually makes perfect sense), but I do think he sounded a bit too much like elderly Sidious when he was cackling like a madman in Revenge of the Sith 😅. He never sounded like that in The Phantom Menace or Attack of the Clones before the Jedi went to assassinate him and he melted his own face with lightning, lol 😅🤷‍♂. It was a very good impression of his voice from that moment in time, but it was a little distracting (again, outside of the scene where he kills his family 😉).

While it's true that a voice generated entirely by AI is soulless, but that's not the only way AI can be used. You can take a human's vocal performance and use AI to make it sound like a different person's voice while keeping the soulful performance from the original audio. I think it could be worth looking into.

DUDE! I am so glad you're doing a visual telling of this GREAT novel! Please make use of Daniel Davis's incredible voice performance in the audiobook version. I know you have it and I know you like that plagueis voice as much as mine. Save your plagueis voice for Dooku. It's a good voice and you can definitely do better, but I don't hear plagueis. I hear Dooku. Which is also GREAT cuz who doesn't miss that Christopher Lee voice?
