We aren't taught to think, we assume to meditate on scripture is to blank out our minds like Eastern mysticism and not as the Bible teaches for us to ponder or chew up the verses in our mind, delving into what it means from God's context--as found in the scriptures. Sam's worship of the KJV? Let me ask you something: Do you worship God? You do? Then how do you know who God is? How do you know what constitutes worship? How do you know God accepts that worship? Words are what every Saint for the last 2000 years is to live by. The words have total and final authority. So which Bible in your language is perfect? You don't think there is one? @@exothermal.sprocket Jesus made it clear that those who worship God must worship him in"Spirit and in truth". As the apostle Paul said "I know whom I have believed" his name is Jesus. I know him as well my Lord and Saviour the risen Christ. Neither did I say I do not believe in a perfect Bible. But there is certainly no "perfect" translation . Even the KJV translators knew their work was not perfect. They said that even the meanest translation is still the word of God. The KJV only cult which I have no doubt Satan has raised up. @@samlawrence2695 My point was, you have to believe in a perfect Bible or else all your supposed knowledge of anything of God has been delivered you by other men whom you have no business trusting, or your own heart and mind which are just as unreliable. God hasn't spoken out of the sky, flown an angel through your house, or put tingles down your spine. You must rely on written words or you have nothing whatsoever at all. Oral traditions are unreliable, all other forms of preservation of information God has rejected. It's the written words. So either you have the perfectly preserved words of God in English, or you have nothing at all. So where are they? You can't have half-accurate, or mostly-accurate, or somewhat-deficient, because you cannot determine where the parts are that are supposedly deficient. If you can't trust the written words of God 100%, then you have no business at all trusting them 99%. If you believe the original autographs were perfect and that's where it all ended, then you believe in something more important than what God thought of the originals; He had them copied and re-written almost immediately in some cases. Neither has there ever been a complete collection of original autographs of the scripture anywhere in the world in one time. Never existed. How do I know these things? Besides all this clearly explained in the KJB, the data isn't hard to come by elsewhere. In fact, there's more reliable proofs that the written scriptures are everything they claim to be, than we have of recent American historical events.

The Holy Spirit has always been the comforter. The KJV is just an imperfect uninspired translation. Certainly not the comforter. What did people read before 1611? More deception and stupidity from a KJV idolater.

Where was the so called "pure word of God" before 1611? Something that cultist Sam Gipp could not answer. When he was exposed for the KJV only deceiver he is. Also which of the 10 revisions of the KJV is "pure"? Also where is the scripture that supports this KJV only teaching? There is not one. It definitely misleads people who don’t research it for themselves. There was a time when I would’ve probably accepted the things he claims as truth. The problem is that he really should know better. He has a blind faith and calls on Christians to have a blind faith in the King James Bible. Christians do not need to have blind faith in the preservation of God’s Word. God preserved ancient manuscripts that would literally be a mile and a quarter high if stacked ( according to Dan Wallace..and he would know). Instead the KJV Onlyists are making the exact arguments that the proponents of the Latin vulgate made..and they’re telling us to believe, by blind faith, that even though the KJV does not perfectly match any manuscripts, differs from the Byzantine manuscripts it’s based on in over 1800 different places, and contains readings that appear in no Greek manuscripts at all (because Erasmus didn’t have complete manuscripts and had to translate into Greek from Latin) that we should accept it as the only perfectly preserved translation of God’s Word. It’s complete nonsense.
