Never saw the titanium filter.

My biggest beef with a lot of the fram filters is the black grip material. I’ve found that a lot of the time some has rubbed off and is inside the box. Many times there is some on the cap of the inside of the filter etc. I’d rather they just stop putting it on or put a plastic cap on the end of the filter to avoid contamination. I’m glad the endurance looks like it’s missing it

The same company that makes acdelco filters makes the super tech filters. They also manufacture filters for other vehicle manufacturers. It’s a good company that isn’t going to ruin their reputation by making garbage.

I would rather have metal end caps than the "So called cardboard by some people" end caps. That said, I do believe that those cheap endcaps will do the job. I could see having those on a cheap filter, but not on one that cost as much as the better filters cost. If I am willing to pay as much as the Fram Force costs, then I want a better built filter. If you happen to want a Fram filter, there are much better built Fram's. Right off the bat, I would go with a Walmart Super Tech filter before one of the cheaper Fram's. The Super Techs actually appear to be well built filters. They don't cost that much either.

ACDelco, Supertech, and Fram Drive are all made by champion labs. Just purchased a Supertech and you will get the same filter for 2 dollars cheaper.

Thanks for this demo. Had no idea it could do all these tests from the Amazon description. I was about to buy a much more expensive BT200. Wondering why they need to sell that if the BT20 can do it all. Maybe because the phone app makes it so it isn't as expensive to make? But the phone app is actually better because it's then a wireless device which you can test from inside the car. Seems like a no brainer unless I'm missing something? Is it less accurate?

Ultra and titanium are the same. Titanium branded just for advanced auto parts store. Endurance, royal purple and amsoil, and maybe another one o forget, are the same Exact filter guts.

Hey y'all I bought a 2008 dodge Caliber sxt sport wagon. It has 70,000 miles on it and was owned by a city that is pretty small as a city goes and used as a code enforcement vehicle pretty much so it was maintained. I am wandering if changing the transmission fluid is a good idea on a 16 year old car with just 70,000 on it. This car Definitely had more idle time than drive time and the 2.0liter 4 cylinder does great so to you driving me Davey and to other caliber owners. DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE FLUID OR LEAVE IT ALONE. TRANSMISSION SHOPS AND EVEN DIFFERENT DODGE DEALERSHIPS HAVE MIXED OPINIONS

So, I just sold my 2018 Ford F-150 (5.0L V8) and purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 (6.6L Gas). From everything that I can find, it looks like I can use the Motorcraft FL500s oil filters on my new GMC. I saw your review (thanks for that) and I still get the same impression. Is it okay to use the Motorcraft FL-500s on the GMC 6.6L gas engine? Thanks.

I push a 1/8 inch x 11/2 bamboo skewer into an inlet hole to drain 3 holes in used filters. Leave on filter drip ring on catch tub. All empty in a day.

My motocrafts are clean and solid. Base plate bypass are clean and no leaks! The cap end snap in assembly can leak at leaf weak spot with no gasket! imho

I've used Motorcraft filters not only on my Fords but also GM vehicles I've owned. For the same price, a Motorcraft is simply a better built filter than either the basic Fram or AC Delco. Some people think they are saving money by using Fram, but at Walmart they are basically the same price.

The s on motorcraft filters means for use with synthetic oils. Has nothing to do with the drain back valve.

Bought on. Cannot find the BT20 app in the iPhone app store. only BT app is the BT100 which doesn't work on the BT20. iPhone connects to the BT20 physical device but the BT100 app says not connected. The BT20 is worthless to me f I can't use the app for all of the tests. Simply displaying the battery volts on the physical is worthless. I could have use a $4.99 cheapo multi-meter to get the same results. Don't buy this!!!!!

For the same price get the Motorcraft filter it's better than both of those i used to run the FL500 on my 6.2L LS3

I only use Royal Purple, strong canister, synthetic media, silicone drain back valve and wire backing of the media. The Amsoil filter is the same as the Royal Purple, the Fram Endurance clearly similar but does not have the wire backing. I will stick with Royal Purple.

they are both made by Champion Labs part of the Fram Group is why they are so similar and If you get a different grade of the same part number series it will have metal end caps but the fiber end caps are not a failure point on any filter.

The regular car review guy never has anything good to say. I have a 2008 Caliber with a manual transmission, 1.8L engine and I get 34 MPG. It has not been a money pit so in that case it’s a great car.

I recently picked up the Titanium. Did lots of YT review-watching. When I finally got it home, I noticed something that was mentioned in a review on here about the XG; there were small metal shards left from the tap on the threads. No bueno. Especially for such a premium/premium-priced filter.
