    Thank-you so much for your beautiful vlogs. We are bombarded with the information that we are going to suffer heart attacks, strokes, dementia and diabetes unless we replace our hormones after menopause. But hey everyone just change your diet, exercise, learn to meditate and live mindfully. HRT will not help to avoid these diseases unless we address the root causes as Angela so eloquently tells us. Great vlog, and one of the only ones that put not having HRT in a positive way. XXXX

    Thank you. I have definitely been doing the deep dive these last few years. I don’t have the option for HRT because it’s not covered by my insurance and I’m very low income. I’m very interested in what I can eat and/or drink to reduce my night sweats, and to support bone and muscle strengthening. I have to eat anyway so it helps with the budget. I’m gradually increasing soy products (which I like, so that’s easy.) I have not looked at your channel and playlists yet so you might have covered this before There are a lot of people who can’t afford HRT and I have always preferred a more organic approach I have been following you a few months and your videos are always helpful

    Your take is so refreshing - not focused on restriction, portions, do/don’t eat certain things, etc. So much of the discussion on food in mid-life involves measuring and tracking and complex programs that, for me, just add more stress into my life! Arugula (Rocket) Dandelion Greens Chicory Endive Radicchio Frisée (Curly Endive) Mustard Greens Escarole Collard Greens Turnip Greens Beet Greens Kale (some varieties are more bitter than others) Swiss Chard Broccoli Rabe (Rapini) Watercress :) enjoy!!

    So thrilled to see you validate what the Glucose Goddess claims…….greens before EVERY meal! I started following her for controlling my glucose levels due to sugar cravings. It truly helps (when I actually do it!) How do you feel about organic ACV diluted in 10-12oz water helping for these issues as well?

      Yes the apple cider vinegar before meals is great. Lots of little hacks that help - adequate protein, walking after meals, not having carbs or sugar on its own. I have some videos coming up and some essential oil videos from the past that also help (the geranium one in particular). I'm so glad it's working for you!

      I think you might be better to use it after your mask - adding it to something that will stay on your skin and have time to absorb in vs being washed off. I would put a few drops on after your mask and then put any serums, oils or creams on. My thoughts, but you can definitely give it a try to and see what way you like best! Hope that helps and enjoy!!

      Yes some places sell larger bottles. You don't need much but some places do see bigger ones. How big is yours? doTerra has 15mls I think. Hope that helps! :)

    Definitely trying this oil… I have sun damage from getting sun poisoning just one time in my early 20’s and I am now 48. A question I have and I do truly love your videos Angela,is there any type of oil that helps aid in weight loss . I got geranium oil for helping with sugar cravings and it has helped but was wondering if there is anything else that can naturally help with the process. Any advice even if it’s not an oil. Struggling with a 60lb weight gain since 40.

      Ah thank you for your comment. I'm doing a whole series on gut health and offering a free workshop next week. That may really help as there are a few components to weight so it's important to understand why it's there and if there's part of the digestive system that's out of balance.       Oh my goodness - no, not 68 but 6 TO 8 oz!! a small glass only. put the seeds in, let them sit about 10 minutes and then drink them. You can start with a smaller amount as well and work your way up too. Thank you for clarifying!!

    Ok so I ate That much in the past and please know that it got impacted in my rectum in a major way. It was crazy. I only presoak them and eat NO more than a tablespoon in a day. And that is presoaked for 24 hours

      Thank you for sharing your experience! It's really important to soak the seeds as you said and it's SO important to listen to your body so thank you for sharing your experience. Starting with 1 tbsp or less is a great way to start and then soak as long as you need. Most can do well with about 10-15 mins of soaking but your comment is important and I appreciate you sharing your experience!

    I think my constipation was caused by Low thyroid. I was blaming it on menopause. I’m all good now after three years and even on professor telling me to take a laxative. Taking magnesium was a game changer for me … and of course hydration I truly think iodine is key for me

    I will try this, I eat chia but not consistently, I have heard that you are supposed to blend it to break it up and make its nutritional profile bioavailable, would that reduce the gel like quality of it and make it less effective for constipation?

      Great comment - I find chia is good in seed form but you can definitely blend it. Flax seed needs to be ground to get maximum benefit. It's great for you to try and experiment to see what works best for your body. I often combine flax (ground) and chia (not ground) in a breakfast mix and it works very very well. I find both the ground and unground chia works for constpation and...always listen to your body! Thanks for your comment!
