I have a 3x3 tent with a 150 led light just started veg state how much light intensity is needed?

I think its perfect for 4x4 during Veg stage but it might be underpowered depending on the number and size of your plants . I've got 1 at the moment and it seems fine, I have 4 medium sized plants under it . I'm also waiting for delivery of my 2nd unit.

Hi can you please give me hanging info, as I have a gorilla 5x9 tent and I own three 600w led viparspectra, on is dimmable, plus i have a 1500w dimmable and a 1000w dimmable, and I don't know how to hang them, as there different wattage, any help would be much appreciated dude? Regards David

An easy rule of thumb I've used is: is there enough light to throw a shadow on the plant? I've grown on a balcony and had re-vegging resulting from lights inside hitting the plant at night. Being attentive to curtains dealt with that. There's always some ambient nighttime light in the city where I live. If you can see a shadow on the plant when you wave your hand - problem. If not, you're OK in my experience.

if you raise the light 12 inches i lose 25% its intensity drops to 750 not 250 correct?

I believe you confused the logic. The Law of Inverse Squares is much more complex than this but your explanation is a good generalization of the logic. At 12in off the ground 100% of the light intensity is available to your plants. Raising to 24in intensity is 75%, at 36in intensity is reduced to 50% and finally raised 48in the intensity is 25%. It's a good ball park measure for most folks, i.e. growing vegetables in a greenhouse over winter. But if you seriously want to dial in your production you will need far more complex calculations and I'm not aware of a calculator, etc. So it's really best to consider the mfr provided info with your grow light and go from there and following forums of like minded growers who may have the same equipment as you.

i had the bottom of my door open and left for the night. all it got was one morning worth of light leaking into the tent, but it was just about 5 hours worth. will this ruin all my plants then or is it ok? how long the light leak happens and the severity. might be nice to know

I just got told good luck with my Spider Farmer tent, that it will have light leaks because it's a Chinese tent... and I chose it over Gorilla Tents for their history of weak zippers and ,,,,yes, light leaks.. thanks for posting this video.
