Video Content:
In this video, I will show you how to use a head, create new shapes based on it, and start building complexity with the Z-Modeler Brush and Boolean operations. I will use some neat tricks, like the Bevel-With Slider to give quick bevels to our geometry, Apply to Similar to copy a series of actions to clones of the same mesh, and Auto Region to quickly fill in masked borders. In the end, you will see how easy it can be to create all kinds of implants for upcoming cyberpunk projects!

      you decimate the geo and retopo it in maya or your 3d software of choice (wouldnt recommand zbrush for that) and project detail pass from highres to lowres in a programm like substance painter or marmorset. I'm not an export on that but there should be plenty of content for that on youtube :)

    cool video, for creating mesh for videogame after this stage you usually go with a retopo or you just use zremesh or decimate for create the low poly and bake the hig after?

    • @georguebler6029
      @georguebler6029 22 дні тому

      I only do concept/ high poly work professionally. But usually the artists working with my meshes retopo it in Maya/Max/Blender for later baking in Substance or Marmorset. Decimation for Retopo is really helpful as well.

    Hello there Georg 😊, thanks for sharing this modeling workflow in Zbrush. One question, have you tried Plasticity for doing these kind of hard surface objects and integrate it with zbrush?

    • @georguebler6029
      @georguebler6029 27 днів тому

      Yes I have played around with Plasticity for a bit! I like it a lot and it's probably stronger in doing these kind of hard surface props. I simply want to showcase that Zbrush hase the potential to do a lot of that stuff as well. Zbrush is my main Software and I do a lot of different modeling/sculpting in there. So I personally like to stay in Zbrush as long as possible to keep the bigger picture and also not disrupt my flow while working by switching 3d packages all the time. Hope this helps!

    • @georguebler6029
      @georguebler6029 Місяць тому

      Every 3D Artist is faced with this decision at one point. I like to do all my modeling and sculpting in one 3d package. Zbrush is perfect for that. It has all the tools you need and is the most robust in terms of polycount. But if you are purely going for weapon design or product design-orientated assets. Plasticity is probably the better choice. Zbrush is more versatile for character art and robotics, with different elements like organic materials, clothes, and so on.
