Only somewhat relevant to the topic, besides this being a extremely helpful tip for my future Railroading endeavors, might I say what a lovely collection of LV Hoppers at the start of the video!

Looking forward to seeing those accessories working. I have one of those ladder cars that I got in a bundle years ago, it doesn’t have a man basket. I have it with my track maintenance train. For years I had it on my trestle with a painter on the ladder. Man that dude was slow 😂

The burning house is awesome! Wow! What town couldn’t use a burning house. That will be a great addition and the fireman shooting water will be cool to see. Looking forward to seeing it in action! You always find the nearest stuff.

So here is my two cents on the house With all the electrical connections put dielectric grease in them As electricity will pull moisture through those connectors This is a common issue with automobiles that I have seen over the years from working on cars, particularly in northern states On a sidenote, I think that’s a really cool accessory and I did not know that it sprayed water

I like your enthusiasm to what you want to build. Also like your enthusiasm towards your military set. I am very much looking forward to your layout tour. Been wanting to see one for a long time now. Another great video Ray. Ken.

Very nice! The burning house looks interesting. I don't think that there is an issue, as far as electricity and water. Just like a submersible water pump, or your cars in-tank fuel pump, I'm sure that it is well insulated and isolated. It will be pretty cool to see it working. I'm surprised that Lionel didn't make the boom for the Mercury capsule automatic. It is what it is, I guess. An excellent video, as always.

Amazing. I just picked up a ln unopened "barn find" and came here to research on it. It has the second car as well. Completely unused and no scratches. Original box. How much would a real enthusiast pay for something like this?

You can never have enough lumber jacks cutting logs. One of my favorite accessories. The Marine missile launcher was very interesting an a nice find. Great video and show!

The 45 was a great find. It took me hours to get one to run that well, but the grandkids love it!

Not a bad price on 45 I use to have both 44 and 45. I wanna get both Tmcc sets that Lionel made of them

That was a great haul. I like that you see value in the most interesting places. Especially, that steam motor. It's a piece of folk art that somebody took the time to make. Even if you just use it as a static piece in an old-fashioned lumber mill, it was worth picking up.

Hello, and thanks for the video! I tried this and was able to make the horn work well with a nine volt. However, with the 1.5v D battery it still just clicks a little (very little) when the relay is manually applied like you did. Same deal if I jump the battery to the horn (skipping the relay entirely) Does that imply that the horn is shot? Is that something I can rebuild/clean/whatever or am I on the hook for a replacement?
