It’s a good idea to know that my people were one of the most powerful people in the Kongo kingdom. I’m a Mukongo but I don’t speak Kikongo because I was never taught it. But I’m from the tribe of Yombe from the Kikongo tribe but don’t speak Kiyombe either 😂. I’m a mukongo and muyombe 😂. But at least I speak Lingala😂 from the DR Congo 🇨🇩. I was born in the capital Congo, Kinshasa😂.

Well like I said, this is what tribalism would lead to. Utter destruction👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼!!!!! Hausa, Tuareg, Mandinka, etc were fighting each other way before Europeans arrived. European certainly were fighting and killing each other, back then also, but the one thing they got right was unity. Something most Africans didn't get right. Pan Africanism was created by Black Americans/FBA, and it was created for Blacks worldwide to get on code. Unfortunately most Africans didn't really care for Pan Africanism, despite the fact Black Americans/FBA and Black Caribbeans tried there best to make the idea more popular for all Africans, but unfortunately they weren't successful. Of course I won't count my fellow Africans out. Pan Africanism have made great progress for Africa, but unfortunately it wasn't enough because Africa have switched back to tribalism. This is why I'm glad I'm no longer a Pan Africanist. I only like certain countries in Africa like Senegal, Mali, Niger, and pretty much all of the Sahal regions in general. The rest of Africa I don't care for at all, but I do want Africa in general to succeed instead of being run over by the Europeans, Indians, and Chinese. Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger has made some progress. Let's just hope they can keep it up. FBA all the way, everyday🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!!!! Yera💧.

Unfortunately tribalism played a very significant role in the downfall of Mali, Songhai, and Africa in general. This crap still lingers today unfortunately. Often times, the biggest enemy is the one who looks like you. FBA all the way, everyday🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!!!! Yera💧.

I just completed a 23&Me and found out I am 18.1% Nigerian (specifically from the Igbo People). I am so glad that I have an opportunity to learn more about my Ancestors. It is actually crazy to learn that they were people of peace and were still so successful in expanding their boarders. I've always had a strong connection to pacisfism and spirituality... it feels really good to know that I had Ancestors that aligned to those beliefs as well. I just wish that this was longer so i could know more!

The Igbo where the only specified group of people from Africa in my results. Unfortunately all my other ancestry is a bit more broadened, but I at least know what countries they came from. I am planning on listening to some history on the various countries that my family come from. Learn some history that I wasn't taught in school.

Good job. Few things: 1) The indigenous home territory of the Yorubas are only Western Nigera, Central and South eastern Benin, and Central Togo. The Yorubas in Ghana and Cote d'ivoire are more like migrants, and the Yorubas in Sierra Leone are those rerouted to Freetown, SL, in efforrts to stop the slave trade. 2) There are Yoruba Bronzes and there are Benin Bronzes just as there are Yoruba people and there are Benin people. Benin people live next door to us to the east, so their art looks similar. 3) Oduduwa did not migrate to Nigeria as Nigeria is a new creation. I know what you mean, just the wrong wording.

Everything in this video is pretty solid except the conclusion about Cleopatra herself. Her family were a dynasty are Greco-Macedonian invaders, while some intermixing could have happened she was likely her self at most only half Egyptian.
