Sanlorenzo 460 EXP | $20M Explorer Superyacht Tour
The idea behind the Sanlorenzo 460EXP is to unite the technical elements and aesthetic of a working vessel with the space of a luxury yacht whilst keeping the displacement of under 500 tonnes and still retaining the Sanlorenzo family feel.
The 460 in the 42.78-metre’s name actually refers to its Gross Tonnage. It has the volumes of a 50-metre, but as a compact boat it is easier to manage and has lower running costs.
“First and foremost,” explains exterior designer Francesco Paszkowski, “the vertical lines with raised walkways and deckhouses are specific to working vessels as they have to be able to negotiate all sea conditions. From the pleasure side, we have aft deck spaces that can accommodate all kinds of toys and also double as a large chill-out area with a pool. Another pleasure boat-derived feature is the windows that brighten the interiors”.
“A style that dovetails perfectly with the spirit of the 460EXP” explains Sandro Chiavetta, chief designer at Sanlorenzo. Spread over four decks plus a sun deck, the Sanlorenzo 460EXP features two innovative elements:
“Amidships on the lower deck, which has a bar and beach club, there is a gym and a third VIP cabin which has been added to the two other guest two-berths. Because this cabin is located behind the crew quarters, it can also be used as an extra space for them on long passages in addition to the three crew cabins”. The main deck features two larger saloons and the full-beam owner’s suite forward.
The upper deck is home to the bridge, the captain’s cabin and a lounge with an al fresco terrace. “The colour palette for the spaces is inspired by maritime tradition and was developed by the Sanlorenzo style office”
At least 9 hulls have reportedly been produced to date in the 460EXP line, the model has recently been revised upwards with the larger 500EXP model with at least 2 hulls having been produced so far.

Loved it since David Seal did the concept video on Yachts For Sale UA-cam channel. It has now been launched. I can't believe none of the big UA-cam yacht/boat people have not done a thorough walk-through. I did see a good interview with the President and his daughter on the boat but they didn't show the entire yacht. This is my lottery boat.

Honestly, she looked allot smaller in person. Very low profile. She was parked here in San Diego, California for a short period of time a few years ago. Still to this day, one of my favorites. Just a tad utilitarian with the interior design and layout. Great for 1-3 day key employee team building of 5-10. Exterior is super cool.

The Island, love that movie because it shows how evil people are, one day it will be reality, a lot of people think movies are so unrealistic I used to think the same thing, but as I've gotten older I am willing to bet humans are more than enough evil nowadays to make that movie a reality. Thank God I'll be dead and gone when it happens. Also say the movie was reality there would be no separation if you were born you could become one of those clones and have a very short life, nature is not going to keep it separate, in the same way it was just luck that you weren't born in a really poor country starving to death. I like to help poor people and the homeless, on the other hand I do not associate with wealthy people or help them, I will not even save them from a burning car or house. I think everyone else should follow suit and be realistic. This 40' boat cannot be worth $1M unless they counted value of the hidden drugs in it. Such boat would be just about $400k or less than that. Axopar - Brabus is about $500k and it is a Brabus upgraded, and everyone knows Brabus brand.
