It is thin but shouldn't be a huge deal. You could shave the reeds a little but doesn't it still play fine? If you're just getting used to the mp it might take a bit before you can play it comfortably anyway

Don't have notes, it's in concert D (E on sax) and most of the notes are in that key. Listen to the song and figure out the melody!

Probably eventually if you practice enough and have small enough reeds. Just takes time, but don't force yourself to play on a mouthpiece that doesn't work for you right now if you can get good normal results easier on something else

@@aminnellis maybe you can give me an advice, which mouthpiece is better for begginers, (200$ +-)

@@matesurmanidze9615 there's no best mouthpiece, you have to just try a bunch out and see which ones work. 200 bucks should get you a really good one though, but you can play 5 of the exact same machine made (these days) mouthpiece and they'll all be a little different, that's why you have to experiment until you find one that you like. Otto link, vandoren, and jodyjazz are all solid brands to start looking at first

Thank you, I appreciate it!! It doesn't really matter, you can do whatever you want; it just depends on the melody line, harmony, and how you want to shape everything. It's a solid idea to try having each part of a section have a line that's super great and melodic on it's own, as opposed to say having three or four horns have flowing, moving lines with the other one or two getting a bunch of repeated notes or weird jumps that wouldn't sound great as part of its own line
