Saturday June 15th, 2013 Mont-Royal Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, Canada Taken with Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (sorry for the shaky video!!) runtime 24 minutes 1080p
Please tell me hom much maximum refresh rate you have on each screen when connecting 3 or more HDMI inputs? Also what max refreshrate you can set up when pluggin only 2 inputs to Arc: 2x [4096x1080] or 2x [2048x2160] ? Is it 120Hz for eaxch screen or only 60? Thanks!
Why do you not use advantage of build in KVM switch of ARC by plugging Logitech USB receiver into it ? That way you dont need to switch stupid button at the botom of the mouse every time you want to work on different screen...
Because I can’t install the Samsung KVM software on my work laptop.
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 it needs soft to install? Pretty lame
I own a resell business as a side hustle and get all kinds of electronics to sell. Had one of these come through that I paid less than $500 for in like-new condition. Was going to sell it like most everything else I get but this thing is huge! I think I’d have to ship it freight. So now I’m considering just keeping it and using it for my desk as well to replace my triple monitor setup. Hummm…. decisions.
finally found real reviewer, who thinks like common people, like we do.
Thank you! I’m far from a professional reviewer but love sharing my thoughts on these items. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Just ordered this one for 1.699€ 👌🏽
Hello Lazarus how’s the lights test of time stood up, are you still using it. Any problems was it worth the money, much appreciated for any responce
Not at all. All 4 are clear
Are the texts blurry using 4 screens?
Can you split the screen into 2 ultrawides, one pc on top and one on bottom and use the built in kvm box for mouse and keyboard?
I understand you use the Logitech system but for us non Logitech guys
Sadly that’s one thing we can’t do is a 55” ultra wide on the bottom and top. Not sure why!
So I got one of these for a seperate setup. But I am confused about 1 thing. I did NOT get a USB B cable for the one connect to hook upto my PC... Did you get yours seperately?
Odd.. I don’t ever use usb hubs myself. I did take a Quick Look and didn’t see one in the box either. Maybe because it’s type C?
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 huh ok I'm kind of confused now then. So you have your kb+m connected to your PC? And if so how do you control your other stuff through one connect?
@@vulpix9210my mouse and keyboard are wireless and use the screen hdmi inputs and display port. I don’t use the USB on the one connect for other than charging a phone, keyboard and mouse
Samsung finally shipped me a good unit. 6 months of daily arguing with their support team. This monitor so far is working fine and no real bugs to report of.
Very nice, glad to find your videos, I am still trying to understand mapping of USB cables and use KVM functionality, a little confusing.
I just got a replacement screen from Samsung (took 6 months!) now that I have a fully working screen again I’ll do a video on the USB hub. I do believe you need a special app on each PC for it to work. I’ll review in a few weeks.
Took Samsung 6 months to send me a replacement after I have them HELL on the phone on a weekly basis. I’ve never been so rude and angry but they deserved it.
What desk do you use?
Custom desk made by my dad about 40 years ago 😅
Man I just want a good big monitor, but everyone I search or have interest in ends up having huge negatives about it or defects
Can you use the split screen without downloading drivers on all PCs? I use a government computer that can only use HDMI ?
The 4 inputs do not require a driver to be installed.
Would you buy another Samsung product ?
Hello, can you turn off local dimming completely on the monitor? Because I noticed that the background lighting flickers when using local dimming. I wanted to buy this monitor, but I have some concerns because I have problems with my eyes when the panel/backlight flickers. I would be happy if you could answer this question. Thank you
what is that light on the wall on top of the steam deck?
Hello. It’s an Amazon led desk lamp. You can change whiteness color and brightness. Nice ! MediAcous LED Desk Lamp with... www.amazon.ca/dp/B09DVXP7X9?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Can you please tell us which exact Amazon light bar that is? I would like to purchase the same one you have.
Absolutely ! It’s the Quntis Pro from Amazon and love it! Quntis Monitor Light Bar PRO+... www.amazon.ca/dp/B0B6P9J3J5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
All: screen had a defect 1.5 months after buying it. Ticket opened with Samsung over a month ago. NO support. No reply. Absolutely disgusting after spending that $ on a screen. Stay away sadly! Last Samsung device in this household!
What was the defect if you mind and have they still not resolved the issue?
5 months later (about) zero support from Samsung. Absolutely horrible customer service !
@@brianruiz2360it’s a flashing right side of the LCD panel. Defective LED back light. Flickers and dark spots from burnt LES’s
Hey I am also using gen 2 for office use but getting lot of eye strain can you help me with settings
I have a similar set up in regards to the ark I have the MX keys the master 3s hooked up to Mac studio M2, I have ps5 MX keys works with it but not master s3, I also have an iPad pro 12 inch m2 upgrading to m3 when it comes out and I have a gaming PC coming soon but I'm curious if you use the KVM switch? I need to configure mine and I also need to know what wires to use. Did you use upstream KVM cables? If so which ones? Also I'm sure your aware but if not you can hook up that MX keys and master to a second and 3rd reciever so you dont have to reprogram them you just have to cycle through 2 or 3 times depending on how many receivers you have. I was trying to find a wireless keyboard and mouse that is cross compatible with apple, ps5, iPad and PC which is very extremely challenging especially because they make very few wireless mechanical keyboards that are compatible and none that can hook up to multiple receivers. I had Logitech g915 and its not compatible with ps5 smh, I heard the Razer turret works but not sure if I just hook it up to the KVM switch would it work with all the devices. My goal is to be able to switch from to display to display seemlesly within the Ark. I dont know why but supposedly the software isnt available for apple, do you have any experience to any of these issues with the KVM switch, compatibility and seemlesly going from screen to screen or do you just press the Bluetooth buttons?
Haven’t tried the KVM.. sadly the screen has showed a defect a little over a month in. Samsung refused to support! They’re HORRIBLE for service and I sadly regret buying anything Samsung made ! Stay away from Samsung is my only advice !
I figured out the KVM switch and the Ark has become much easier and better to use. Just recently figured out a work around to get the easy settings software for my Mac so I'm gonna see if I can configure the screens better. I dont like how the mouse doesn't work on the Ark UA-cam app and my Mac shuts off when exiting multiview some other things as well. It's those little issues that really annoy me especially for the price point and what it was marketed as smh. Unfortunately I bought it a month ago so I can't return it and it would probably be a pain to sell online unless some picks it up haha
Nice! Your setup makes me feel not as bad for mine.. lololol 😅
Can you provide a link to the light bar and leather pad you have? Those look really nice

@@atomsbudgetreviews8713thank you! Ordering mine now 🙂
If they come out with a 240 hertz version with dp 2.1 I’m getting this
Personally, would be nice if there was an 8K variant, which if divided by 4, could have four 4K sources running at 120hz, that'd be the dream, Plus, a slightly less agressive curve for being able to sit further back, oh and less buggy software -- from what I've read.
Can you hook up a lenovo legion go to that monitor and if so is there any lag?
Takes HDMI and display port for full 4k 165Hz no lag. It’s an ultimate gaming monitor !
@atomsbudgetreviews8713 awe man thank you soo much for this! Will getting mine today! Gaming just got 100xs better lol!
Here’s a 2024 updated video ! Check it out ! ua-cam.com/video/UA5BR00GyOY/v-deo.htmlsi=b6DcHVjX7JMrvk1G
Can you game at 4k 165hz while having a different input split? Does the monitor refresh rate remain at 165hz or locked at 60hz? I have dual PC system for work/gaming and that's my only concern I don't want to pay that much in order to find out. Can you confirm, please
You can only game at 165Hz in full screen with 1 input on display port. Once you split it, it drops to 120Hz when split screen and 60Hz if in 4x4
Great review
Thanks for sharing, i have been waiting on grabbing one of these and its nice to see more and more reviews and demos from the community. I'm concerned about a comment you made regarding the 'fuzzy text' or blue hue. I also work from home, in the broadcast industry and am hoping to replace a wall of 6 monitors with a couple of these. How crisp is the text in multiview when you have a 4 panel on. Does it look good at 1080p 60hz? I believe there is a samsung app you need to install on PCs that will be connected to the Ark for multiview - is this correct? and how does this app footprint on the PC - meaning is it something that is configured and then lives in the notifcation area? Cheers!
Hi! Glad you watched the video. The text once I do my “fix” is nice and clear at 1080 60Hz. Definitely usable even with my old eyes. As for the multi view, no app needed. It’s all embedded into the one connect box. Use the dial remote to select your multi view (you can save 2 or 3 settings) and good to go. What’s really neat is you can switch audio output between each multi view monitor and as it’s got 4 speakers (1 per corner..) the sound comes out from the speaker closest to that multi view screen you’ve selected. I give it a strong 7.5/10 review. Other than 2 issues I’ve witnessed 1) wake from off won’t give a clear image in one of my hdmi inputs if it turns on with multi view already enabled 2) one multi view screen will stay black, I then need to revert to 1 screen, then re-enter the multi view. This fixes it. Happens every time I turn it on when multi view was enabled. I think it’s a software/firmware issue and NOT hardware related. But overall experience is still excellent. Hope so for the price ! I will do a deep dive review on it with my issues. Hope Samsung sees it !
@atomsbudgetreviews8713 Awesome, thank you for your response! If you have an opportunity over the next few weeks, would be really interested in seeing the KVM functionality - ideally how responsive it is going from one view to the next. Appreciate this!
I have been heavily considering a setup like this with the Gen 2. I would love to see a walkthrough or vlog of you using your config.
Sure I’ll gladly show my work flow and use case for working from home. Give me a few days to gather my thoughts and I’ll post something shortly! I’ve been using it for work for a bit over a month and sure.. has it’s quirks but definitely usable!
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 that would be awesome! Looking forward to it.
Hi, This is a really good setup and I would like to see a more in depht review, specialy the One connect KVM. You have my subscription
Hello! Sure give me some time to get some more feedback on what others would like to see and I’ll throw a video together. I haven’t tried the KVM as I’m using Logitechs MX series which lets me control 3 computers wirelessly with 1 keyboard and mouse. But I’ll try it out! Thank you for watching and your subscription!
You don't specify what type of budget your reviews fall under thankfully
Ya I get it. Name change needed lol
Love this monitor but not the price at £2500, in uk. So I will wait way to expensive for a monitor.
What res and refresh rates are you getting if you have 4 devices running at once?
1080 60Gz in 4 screen. 120Hz in double screen and 165Hz in full resolution.
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 thanks! Do you have black borders above and below when it double screen mode? I saw it in other reviews
@@12DSFQDS yes but in 4 screen mode no borders
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 damn, that's no good
I like that samsung ark gen 2 . I went with the 57" G9 though, wondering if i made the right choice 🤔
I’m also building a sim rig.. also wanted the 57” g9 ultra wide but the vertical height is also amazing ! No regrets here. I am trying to trade my 48” ultragear oled LG 48GQ900-B for a 49” Samsung Neo arc for my rig now ..
@atomsbudgetreviews8713 😬 i love monitors too, so if the ark gen2 ever gets discounted, i know i need one
Bros monitor make the lg dual up look like a baby
nice, i have 9 retro consoles. I'd like the ark monitor tho. I wonder, is that curve odd compared to other curved screens. it looks like its only curved in the center.. then the sides are more flat..
It’s an awesome immersive screen. I’ve always had a large computer monitor due to poor eyes.. my mother one is an LG ultragear 48” OLED that I didn’t even show in the video !
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 i currently use a neo qled 50". I do like it but i want the wrap around curve and the better audio..
Did you send this in to Jays2Cents?
for epic home computers or roasting my setup? LOL
@atomsbudgetreviews8713 He does these setup evaluate videos and people like it. This is the video about the 2-minute mark it has a setup similar to yours. Interesting setup :) It is so quiet.
Thanks! Really important that it’s quiet as it’s 8 feet away from my home cinema room.. definitely not silent but the glass door really helps dampen the sound. Thanks for watching !
nice setup but time to upgrade to 3 Arks in portrait mode like this guy HAHA ua-cam.com/video/TQQPh4y2m6Q/v-deo.html

Ah well. I use it for both

Thank you!
I would love to ask: 1. What do you do for a living 2. Did you buy all those things at the same time with your pay, or did you "collect" through out the years
Im a quality inspector in the aerospace field for over 25 years. All pricy items are a few per year if I’m lucky. I also buy and resell as a side hustle. The rack was free (see my older videos). Thanks !

Lol they’re installed. A few years back! Sorry I didn’t get to film it ! But sadly don’t get great sound out of them for atmos.. yes they work. Guess I was hoping for more !
@@atomsbudgetreviews8713 all good, i just got them for my garage and just finished installing a couple. the running the wire was the worst part for me. garage kind of empty now so it has this echo effect.
What server rack do you have?
How did you get a Sonos amp for 100 ?
Facebook marketplace.. I got two last year. One for $20 and one for $100. Yes, connect amps. Sometimes just lucky ! I’ve sold them since though..
Thanks for sharing! Very nice home office set up!
