Feliz ano novo, e uma ótima receita 🥬🧈
Feliz Año Nuevo! 🎊
home!
Made it and it was really good veeery tasty, delicious!! I couldn’t find some ingredients in my country so I added other similar things but it turned out great. Thank you🙌🏻
That’s awesome 👏🏾 glad you liked it ❤️
Is that chipotle your twist on the dressing. This looks good . Yummy happy new year
Yes, it’s my twist on the original Caesar salad. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
@ I love that . Going to make this. Saved ❤️
Happy Xmas 🎄
And a Happy New Year 🎊
Some people cannot have peanut butter
I don’t understand your statement?
Thanks for this amazing recipe... I'm going to try it really soon... yummy yummy 😊😊
You’re very welcome! Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
Still have about 4 dozen pasteles in the freezer, but will try this for sure. My folks live with me; they get tired easily from folding and tying- I think they'll love the taste and the shortcut to a great way to have their pasteles!
4 dozen? You’re sitting on a gold mine 🤤 Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
Ruined it after squeezing nasty sweet ketchup over a dish that takes hard work and time to accomplish. I’m half Puerto Rican and half Chinese, and have had authentic Chinese and Puerto Rican food my whole life.. Never understood people who ruin good dishes by pouring ketchup over delicious food and ruining it. It’s like pouring A1 sauce over an expensive steak. Mind boggling
Because people like what they like and most don’t care what others think. If someone gets enjoyment from something, who are you to take that away from them? Let people live their lives, before they start snooping into yours 😆 Thanks for watching 👍🏽
Ouu mexirican
😂 Yea indeed 🙌🏾
No ketchup! Eso lo daña
Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Feliz Navidad ⭐️
I’m ready to try these cookies, they look amazing! I can’t locate the recipe though
Full recipe will be up on Provecho (link in description) tomorrow, but here are the ingredients and measurements. 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt 1/2 cup cocoa powder 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 2 ounces Mexican chocolate 1 stick unsalted butter 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1 large egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 cup mini marshmallows (frozen) Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes (rotating sheet tray half way between cooking)
Me gusta con ketchup y pique y sin ketchup… y me gusta destripar una teta de pan para hacerme un sandwich de pastel 🇵🇷🇺🇸
Ohhh…nunca hecho un sándwich de pastel 👏🏾
I have won my family chili cook off 5 times with this recipe. Love the Beef Broth and the Ancho
Your family should call you the 🌶️ 👑 🙌🏾Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
I can't wait to see the GrandGirls' faces when I give them these! Gracias, y feliz navidad!
Feliz Navidad y buen provecho 🎄
Soooooo good! Thank you!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏾
This sounds awesome. But I can’t stand cinnamon. Can I do without that spice? Or does all Mexican chocolate have cinnamon ?
Mexican hot chocolate does use cinnamon, but you can definitely omit it. Make it yours! Thanks for watching 🙏🏾

I don’t have a food processor. But I am in San Francisco and jonesing. Since I am happy with 2 or 4. I might try grating the bananas by hand like my mom used to do. Wish me surete.
Yea, our hands were the 1st food processor 😆 I make as many as I can, then freeze them to enjoy later. Buen Provecho!
no cilantro, real chinese food does not included cilantro
This is a Peruvian dish, and cilantro is widely used in Chinese cuisine.
Que RICO, BENDICIÓNES
Gracias ☺️
Where is the recipe? Why make this great video while not even bothering to provide a list of ingredients and quantities? Your approach to this dish seems great, but failing to provide the recipe makes no sense
Orrr….”Hey love the video, can you list the ingredients for this dish?” Me: Absolutely 👍🏽
The ajiaco never has celery and carrots. You had to put an herb”guascas”
I did put guascas (I showed the package and the herb) and I also used papa criolla. The celery and carrots were used to make the chicken stock, but the actual soup doesn’t have it. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾

Man, Google couldn't have shown this to me like 2 days ago? I just made 150 of these.... Love the idea of baking it, thanks!
😂 sorry about that! 150? Are you selling them? That could be good business 👍🏽 Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
I am trying my hand at making pasteles this week. A family tradition from my childhood. Mama has been gone for 22 years and I haven’t made them without her. First time flying solo.
You’ll do great, and when you taste them, your childhood memories will come flooding back. That’s the Joy of Cooking! Buen Provecho 🙏🏾

I was always intimidated making these on my own. My grandmother showed me when I was super young so a lot of the recipe I didn't remember and my spanish was never the best so trying to find it was always a challenge. Thank you so much for this 💜💜
I was nervous my first time too, but sometimes you have to face your fears. Happy pastel making! Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
Game changer. I will have to give it a try.
You can also freeze portions to be eaten later 👍🏽 Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
I tried the malanga with the green bananas the other day, before I saw this video just now and it's such a great idea, what a fantastic taste and consistency. I"m going to try your recipie soon too, this looks so fantastic to make in the oven and in a pan! Makes it a whole lot easier, even though, I'll still make it with paper too, as it brings me so many wonderful memories of my grandmother, my mother and my father. Pasteles were always a big deal at our house, all year long but especially at Christmas since I was a child! :D Thanks for sharing.. I just subbed to your channel, you're great !
Thank you so much Melody for watching and subscribing! I too love the wrapped pasteles more, but the all-in-one pan is just a great time saver. Welcome to our community 🙏🏾

Ok 😵💫
That looks goooood! Looks like lasagna! Thanks for sharing! ❤🇵🇷
Yes, very similar. Thanks for watching 🙏🏾
@@Sabrosollc it really cuts the time and less expensive with not having to buy paper, and string. It's very easy this way.
😊
ok so i have 5 hours for it to cook. hope it will be ok
Yea it will be fine. I did 8 because I was away from home most of the day, which is the beauty of the slow cooker.
Receta por favor.

Hello! Any substitute for the pumpkin? No one in the family can eat it for religious reasons ❤
You can just omit the pumpkin and it will be fine. I add pumpkin for texture but it’s not absolutely necessary. Thanks for watching and Buen Provecho!
No ketchup
Do you have the ingredients listed somewhere?
Here you go: 1 loaf day-old French bread 2 cups milk 1/2 cup raisins 2 cinnamon sticks 2 star anise 5 whole cloves 1/4 cup water 4 eggs Pinch of salt 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 oz melted butter Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional) For the caramel 1 cup sugar
I'm Argeentinian, and if I may suggest you a little change to do it the way Güerrin famous pizzería does it for you to try: do it as if it were an inverted cake, e.g. cover the pan with oil, put the onions to cover the bottom, and go on doing the rest as you did it. When almost done, place a flat surface on top to turn it upside down and place it back on the pan, with the onions on top perfectly caramelized. Add parmesan and I like to add some fresh onions as well, some more oil and back to the oven some minutes to end the (now) bottom crust and melt the parmesan you just added. I also like to suff it with ham, and sliced boiled eggs (although not anymore a pizzeria recipe) doesn't hurt at all.
That’s a great tip! Thank you 🙏🏾
is there a written recipe somewhere? i do not see it or a link. please reply and let me know how much rice you used. ty
Ingredients 1 cup onion, diced 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced 1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced 1/4 cup Spanish olives 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 whole chicken (cut into 8 parts) 2 tablespoons adobo (divided) 2 teaspoons sazón (divided) 3 tablespoons olive oil 1/2 cup white wine 1 1/2 cups long grain rice, rinsed 2 cups chicken stock 1 teaspoon Achiote powder 1 tablespoon ground cumin 1 tablespoon dried oregano 3 bay leaves 1/2 cup frozen green peas 1 tablespoon diced pimento 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
@@Sabrosollc thanks for the fast reply.😁
