Since I was a kid, I’ve always enjoyed the idea of making short films. Someday I wanted to be a film writer or be able to produce big films. As I grew up and life happened, I never really had the time to do that. Since having kids, I’ve realized the importance of documenting memories of special moments. While being a big time film maker isn’t in my future, being able to capture farm life, nature, or family memories is very important to me. If I can share that with folks and inspire you to spend more time with your loved ones, then I’ve done my job.

Harvest of Lights: A Farmyard 4th of July
Переглядів 31День тому
Red over at @VolunteerValues took the day to get ready for his 4th of July party. He went to Daniels property to get his 1970s Military Dump Truck to use. He enlisted the help of Noah (our neighbor) to bring Old Dory (the dump truck) back to the farm. Red filmed and edited this production as I was out of commission for the weekend. Hope you enjoy!

Constructing Our New Barn: Troyer Post Buildings
Переглядів 221Місяць тому
We are back at it! A lot has been happening on the farm faster than we can record it. We built a barn from Troyer Post Buildings. We ordered the kit we needed and once it was delivered, we used one of their preferred contractors to install it. We hope you enjoy the update! @VolunteerValues Troyer Post Buildings: troyerpostbuildings.com

We were able to push through the rest of the week and make it until Red @VolunteerValues got home from vacation. It gave me a healthy appreciation for the day-to-day operation of the farm. We hope you enjoy this video!
Conquering Hurricane Creek Trail in 2024 with 2016 Jeep Rubicon

Today we got away from the farm for some fun in the mud with my good buddy. We had a blast when we took our sons out to play in the mu. I was impressed with how easily this Jeep Rubicon easily conquered each obstacle.

Where this Country 😊
Thanks a lot John 🤦🏼♂️
There is a few reasons why polaris's feel so stable. 1 is weight distribution and rider placement. 2 is how the suspension reacts to the clutching. 3 and this is most important, polaris does not use open differentials. If you have one of the models with turf mode you have a rear diff "unlocker". Yes unlocker, the passive is locked and active is unlocked. So for off camber and different traction from side to side or front to back you never have to stop and engage "lockers" it makes it extremely easy for riders of all levels to take on tough terrain without having to think about what their drive train is set too. You can just focus on driving. All these things combined are the reason why polaris has over 50% of the market. Also the 450 is actually a 500, which is why it out classes the other 450s. The normal sportsmans don't have turf mode but the x2 and I think touring do. Most the sxs have it now too.
I would add polaris accessories are second to none for factory and aftermarket cause guess who owns kolpin and others lol. They are arguably the most comfortable machines for the last 30yrs. Also fantastic marketing.
That is awesome feedback! Thank you for taking the time to share that! We have been quite pleased with them and how well they handle just about everything!
Great video !!!!
Thank you! The barn is fantastic. It’s already in use! Thanks for your support!
Nice building!
Thank you! Appreciate your support!
so work harder. you’re literally wasting up as much time as him by making this video about people wasting time🤦🏽♂️
lol, it was funny. Sometimes you gotta just take a break and complain. I didn’t catch Red actually eating.
They’re either hard working or look pretty. You got one of the good ones. I’m stuck waking up next to Brigitte Nielsen, but at least she can pull a plough. Hands are rough as hell too😭
Takes even longer to sit there and make a video about it Mr beast
It took 12 seconds, but I get it. 😂
@@WoodedRancherProductions & it took 2 seconds to eat a berry 😂

Is there any way to manage the plants that grow in you sections that would help balance the deficiency? or is that just a spring plants thing?
@berrean8339 One way to manage the plants in your fields to balance the nutrition deficiency in spring grass for cows is through rotational grazing. This involves dividing your pasture into smaller sections and rotating the cows through them. This allows for better utilization of different types of plants, ensuring a more balanced diet for the cows. Additionally, you can consider planting legumes like clover or alfalfa, which are rich in protein and can help improve the nutritional content of the pasture. Soil testing and fertilization based on the specific nutrient deficiencies can also aid in promoting healthier grass growth. We don’t do soil testing in fields for the cows although this year we did for a garden to see where we were lacking for plant growth, but once you start soil testing you need to mark it on your calendar and test every year around the same time to see the best results.
Is that like a retired military vehicle? How do you go about renting one of those?
I believe so! I’m not sure about renting them, this one was purchased from a family friend.
Mini people?
My mouth was moving faster than my brain could take at that moment. I think I was going somewhere in the lines of “many people” not mini people.
really beautiful out there
Can’t listen because of the music. Sorry😢It’s very distracting.
