Didn't think that bit of snow would of stopped you. Lol.
Which heel toe shifter is that? I like the curvature.
Is chin mount in the USA?
Yes. They are a US company. Go to there website, they can accommodate most helmets. Customer service is good if you need to get InTouch with them. Safe riding.
Good to see you back. All ways enjoy your vids.
Greetings, As always another brilliant detailed video production 🇺🇲🍾🎉🇺🇲 I really really appreciate you HONESTY. You are just stating the facts. Keep producing more honest videos
Should i buy one?
Hi I've been on another R18 since this one and it was a totally different experience. It was a lot smoother the back break was strong the jerk when you first start the bike so much less aggressive. The bike I did the first impression on I learned afterwards it had a few issues. Best thing to do go and test ride a few times. As you know what suits one person may not suit another. Decide what you're really want out of a motorbike. Also I will suggest test riding as many different bikes take your fancy. The cruiser I ride at the moment Yamaha midnight Star 1300 which suits me because there's no fancy equipment is just basically a engine to wheels and a seat. The one cruiser that I have found to be maybe a little underrated and surprisingly fun to ride was the Honda Rebel 1100 I did a little first impression video on that one maybe something to think about. Safe riding.
@@Bikerlee555 thanks for the guidance
Been looking at one of these or the 500 version but insurance quotes are ridiculous now. Bike would be well secured, mature rider for a few years, never made a claim in car or bike, and quote was £3500 just for the cbr500r!!!! Where are they getting these numbers from?
What the hell. That's s lot. You tried Bennetts insurance. I've got a midnight Star 1300 I've just ensured £230 pound.
@@Bikerlee555 I had the new hornet for a year znd renewal price was only £250, but got rid of it and got a new vstrom 650 for better wind protection. Fancied the cbr just for a bit more oomph but the biggest oomph was the insurance quote.
메뉴얼에 오일 &필터 체인지 4리터인가요?
That bike scares ya
The interstate model has an insane amount of amenities.
cheers, go up there regularly on my round trip.where you got your mic setup when riding.
Hi. Use quite a few different mics but because of my heart condition I breathe really loud and heavy and found that most of the mics make me sound like Darth Vader 😂 lol. I used a purple panda Mic on this video and I don't think I would use any other. Cost around about £25 English pounds depends where you buy from. It's also brilliant at keeping the wind noise to a minimum when you're speaking if you've got your visor up. Hope this helps safe riding.
Great looking bike, exept for rhe exhaust, i woul throw it away immediately 😂😅
I own one and it's a fantastic bike, some of the negative comments on this test ride are actually design features of this bike, you get it or you don't.
Hi I've had a ride on another r18 and that one was spot on completely different experience. The one I used in the first impression ride actually went into the workshop as I got it back to the garage I believe there was something wrong with the flywheel. Will have to do another video as I do believe it will be the better experience from the first one I had. All the best and safe riding.
They will be all be in first gear now
Not been up since this vid. Forgot it's 20 mph. Now. May take a trip up this weekend to check it out.
Best of luck, they have ruined a motorbike ride!@@Bikerlee555
This video should have been titled the top 10 things I hate about r18.
Been on another r18 since this video. A lot better. The one in the video went into the work shop shortly after the video .
@Bikerlee555 fly wheel on a nearly new bike not good!
20mph = Very dangerous plus it's creating heavy traffic backups, all stuck in 2nd gear reving much higher equals so much more pollution and engine wear. I also ride a BIKE A big one and it has to be ridden in 2nd in the 20mph which means the throttle is so very responsive and over 20mph with a 100th of hairs width throttle twist. 20mph is so very, very, very bad for the environment, the pedestrians and the traffic - I live in Wales and have to put up with this BS everyday. DrakeFRAUD the Welsh Puppet First Minister has never been able to pass his driving test - he seems to be like a baby throwing his dummy out of the pram. As his WEF Puppet-masters say - *_"YOU WILL OWN NOTHING, YOU WILL GO NOWHERE AND BE HAPPY"_*
I live on the Welsh border. So for a ride out I will be bouncing between Wales and England. Seems when the 20 mile game out everyone was dropping down to it but now no one. ( Ok maybe one or two.) Is keeping to it. But most are back up to 30- 35 miles in the 20 mile zones. Maybe it's because I'm on the border. Don't know if it's the same as you go further into Wales and more towns and villages have the 20.
0:37 blue bmw is me and dad
Missed your videos nice to see you back on.
Thank you!
Passed my tests and brought a R18 and found it great after a few hundred miles. Ilove the reverse and great fuel economy it also does have rear suspension that is adjustable by a 13mm spanner behind right side panel.
Aftermarket forward controls and the comfort would be greatly improved.
want one same color! What a gorgeous color! Didn't see one same color in US
This is the latest batch of this CBR650R/CB650R. it has red coil spring & black engine cover
Woooo, your vstar looks so fine. I bought mine brand new in 2007 ( the first year of inception) I was very happy with heal-toe shifter. I have a 2020 triumph t-120, so when I do ride the vstar 1300, I sometimes forget I have heal toe for the first couple of shifts😅
Thanks. Going to do 6 months ownership review next month. Not done any video's for the last few months been away a lot. Starting back September. How is the triumph. Would you recommend?? Safe riding.
@@Bikerlee555 thanks for reply. I would definitely recommend the triumph Bonny to someone who already owns a middleweight cruiser such as ours. It’s a great “kick-around-towner, that can get going on the highways. I put the dart mini screen on mine and can do 100-150 mile day trips comfortably. After 2020 triumph took the center stand off as standard(bummer). So I’m glad I bought that year.
Going hopefully next week to give the t-120 a ride. But got shit weather here a moment. Been a dull rainy summer. Looking forward to trying the bike out.
@@Bikerlee555 you’ll enjoy it, for sure.
Sound seems very very underwhelming for 1800cc
Maybe BMW will make an electric model that will better suit your needs.

I got all three ... 1. Ducati. 2. Indian. 3. The newly released Kawaguzzi. Wasnt that hard. 😄
I want to ask, at the traffic the temperature goes high very fast like cbr 600 rr?
I have a CB650R, the naked version. It's fine in traffic. You can feel the heat on your calves but the engine temp on the display stays in the normal range. I haven't tried it in hot conditions though.
I think we all know it's a 4 stroke mate, no need to say it 😂
You be surprised how many times I get asked lol.
Nice
Had the 500cc. Was little to small for me. Will have to go and check this out now. Nice vid
Once I saw the engine I got it.
Dont like it moving to the side , dont like shacking , sounds like you need to stick to cars 😂
I'm No good at driving cars either lol.🫣🤣 Safe riding
My only gripe is that twins just sound like small tractors..! You just cant beat the sound of its 4cyl predecessor!
I've heard through the grapevine that here in the UK they are going to be making bikes in the near future even quieter.
♡♡♡ I LIKE THIS COLOR VARIANT, TOO. THE COLOR OF THE FRONT FENDER MATCHES THAT OF THE HEADLIGHT AND OF THE FRONTAL TANK FAIRINGS. IT LOOKS MORE COLORFUL, SUBSTANTIAL AND VISIBLE ON THE ROAD. ♡♡♡
For me this is the best colour combo, still like it. Will be doing more first impression rides the end of next month look out for those. Safe riding.
Its a rebel 1100 T and on them the bags and the batwing is standard .but not that high aa "window"
Good to know. Thanks. Safe riding.

Why would you change the exhaust? Just to make noise and annoy people ? And so what? You will loose in performance, that 's all you'll get. Engine's sound is more important that exhaust noise.
Yeah, I don't understand people that want it to be louder lol
The most underrated review on UA-cam.
Yet another mention of this amazing chart somewhere that rates everything.
Its been designed to shake and vibrate its like a vintage bike with modern bits
Which engine is more refined.. this one or honda hornet 750??
Hi Been finding with all engines in or around this category of motorbike the engines are quite similar. I think it would depend on what riding style you prefer. The Suzuki as good mid-range torque the Honda is more towards the high end. So it likes a lot of rev. The best thing to do if possible is to test ride both motorbikes to see which is more compatible to your riding style. Me personally I preferred the Suzuki GSX 8s as I found more suited to my riding style .
8S engine is way more refined. I’ve ridden both, low speed the Suzuki isn’t jerky at all. Same can’t be said for Honda. The power of the 8S you feel straight away. Better bike for short shifting. Honda was more fun to rev out. Honda has the better engine to explore and sounds way better. I went with the 8S as it won nearly every category and I haven’t regretted it.
@@florme6494 what do you want to say?
0:38 i do object ! 0:49 I strongly disagree
Looks so much like the ktm duke 890….
Why keep it in fourth gear??
Same thought. Why?
Very nice Bmw R 18😊👍💪💪🌞
Nice test ride. Btw at 1:20 you can just make on click on the starter it automaticly starts. Its called Suzuki Easy Start. Cool feature xD
I think you need to learn to ride this bike, your comments would put anyone off, you have a fuel warning light, which then gives 35 to mile range. I am now on my third R 18 the third being the 100 anniversary, you really need to read up, and ride this bike a few times to understand d it. Nothing wrong with brakes, nothing wrong with gear box. It sound like your frightened of it. The vibrations are built in to the modes, to reflect the 1936 R series. It makes you feel like your riding a proper bike. This bike has its quirks, but its an amazing piece of kit.
I completely agree, I hated the first ride I had on one of these, half an hour, and I was done. Then had another go, in the winter, i loved it so much I bought then and there. You have to learn it, it's gorgwhen you have. I've got a K1600gtl, and VFR800, so ive got a good idea of the differences. I also agree he's a little scared of it, not surprising. 😊
Thanks for comment, yes the size does frighten people, I find the bike so well balanced, once you pull off, all the wait goes, but I love the low seat, me only being 29inch leg. He needs to pull the throttle back to appreciate what this bike can do. Every where I go with my bike people flock around it, it's like every bike, either you like it, or hate it. I've also owned four harleys, but build quality and ride is far superior.
You are spot on! My very experience after I bought mine. Had to get used to it. Now, I am glad I have it.
It’s not for your beginner and not a cookie cutter for sure
