LEGO Castle Tavern - Bricking Up Brad Intro
As you might have seen on the @BrickingUpBrad channel: we have collaborated to bring you a look into a LEGO Castle tavern!
I have been getting more and more into the LEGO Castle themes. When looking for videos about this theme, you quickly land on one of Brad's videos. I have been watching his Tavern Talk series and I really enjoyed them. However I thought that the intro could use a bit of an upgrade. I contacted him and we quickly worked on a script for the video. We thought it would be cool that there would be a tavern filled with characters from all the different factions. We looked at a few figures and made sure that their character would be apparent in the video. Cedric the Bull makes an appearance and shows how clumsy he can be (like we saw in the LEGO Creator Knight's Kingdom cutscenes). Majisto has to show of his magic skills and Basil the Batlord is overlooking everything. A Wolfpack character will naturally try to rob someone. And Brad will be the barkeeper.
I'm really proud of this animation. There are so many character animation within this video. I also made some improvements to my animation rig to bring these characters more to life. I hope you like the video and if you're interested in LEGO Castle: check out the @BrickingUpBrad channel.

So, one thing I would change with this build is that I'd center the red 2x6 at the start, then put a green 1x2 at the back and a red one at the front. It'll give the chassis a bit more structural integrity.

@@Jmdeleeuw- Would be amazing. There is this video on UA-cam talking about why that could never happen. It’s worth a watch because they make some great points. However, a fan made remaster would be great too. 😁
This video is actually not accurate. About the only thing that Rock Raiders won't ignore in favor of scarfing down sandwiches is base defense while in action stations. They'll do it with everything else, though luckily they won't do it until you get a support station down anyway so you don't have to worry about running out of oxygen because they wouldn't stop eating.
Very weird camera that’s so fix stucked from behind… camera could be a little bit more free just tiny bit so it doesn’t look so fixed…

What did you use to get this effect ? Was it a RTX Remix or something? User called irulez22 rewritten the game in Unity engine, maybe that could be useful if you plan remastering it.
It is all made within an animation program. I unfortunately don't know how to make a proper video game. So this is the closet I can get to a remaster. 😋

It's an animation. I don't have the knowledge to turn it into an actual game. Hopefully somebody is able to do it. 😁

Holy wow!! I've wanted a remake of this game with additional tracks for so long. It's LEGENDARY! Guess you're not making it a full-blown revamped playable download, eh? Oh well... Still an EPIC job you made here! What tools did you use? 3D animation? Or some game engine...?
@@pieterboelen2862 Thank you so much! I wish I could make this an actual playable game. However, I don’t have the knowledge to do so. 😜 This animations is made within Cinema4D and After Effects.

A few years back, i tried to recreate Sid's car in Lego's proprietary studio creation software. It was a lot of guesswork and it was by far not as efficient as this model (I used too many stacked plates, etc.). Now that a younger version of Sid Vacant exists as an actual minifigure, i guess it's time for me to revisit his car. it reminds me of a 1980's foxbody Ford Mustang with a larger engine. It was one of my favourite cars in Stunt Rally. I especially loved it in Chip's livery.

Captain Redbeard utilizing every opportunity under the sun to cannonball the player is very accurate. This is what i imagine Lego Racers would look like if it were re-made in Lego 2K drive's game engine.

When the door opened my jaw dropped. The lighting and the placement of the figures makes it look SO GOOD! And the brief journey through the bustling room is really engaging, it's hard to keep track of everything going on yet it flows really smoothly. Incredible work!! Brad must have been super pleased 😁

I love how minifigures of opposing factions are peacefully playing cards and getting drunk together. Meanwhile Basil, in full gear no less, is feverishly watching Cerlin (That's how Majisto was called in Germany) put on a trick, to impress (or maybe calm down) Willa. This is how i imagine the medieval Lego world to be. And of course I noticed my friend just sitting there on the right railing at 00:02 :)
