@@nobody1841 most people do then get a yard to mow to justify their purchase. But with 2 acres you are comfortable with 3100s. 2800s if you want to push them a little. Anything more will be a bonus and make mowing the yard much more enjoyable. 5400s on 2 acres makes like much better😎🔥

@@jacobcamacho7379 the turf tiger is an absolute beast!!! It’s prolly one of the best mowers to throw a hand on and let him lose for 10 hours a day just banging it on curbs and stuff. I have a crazy deal they just unloaded off the truck a 72” for $14999 and a 61” for $13999. That’s cheaper than the cheetahs! We have door to door hot shot shipping as well. We have one more headed to Idaho

@ we of course have the big vanguard and the DFI kawasaki but Scag gave us a crazy deal on the kohler since Kohler is changing their name they were moving out the Kohler stickered ones.

@@robertdeyarmin452 I’ve only cut on one once. I know for sure the 36” revolt works waay better on my yard for sure. I originally bought the 42, someone bought it before I got to take it home. I did mow on a bank repo though.

@@georgfloydvictims no it’s the flex axle suspension of the rogue/renegade paired with the seat. Also on the bad boy you don’t have the springs that have to be replaced a lot. The price difference is huge as well :). I prefer the ride of the rogue over the Ferris it feels different to me. The myride on the toro is very strange ride to me. The xride on the hustler is really nice as well :).

@@zacjohnson8404 you can they sell kits for it online. I would wait till after your 3 year warranty is up as it sadly voids the warranty.

@@kgmowers yep, I have done 450hrs on my lib z, installed the air filter last year. It gets used commercially so I was only given a 1 year warranty anyway (in Australia).

Yes...I hate to see these manufacturers saying commercial, and heavy duty when they are only made for very small yards

@@ROE-dj1dj vanguard is my favorite when it goes in the shop for warranty, and for anything else. They are the best to work with when there is an issue, and we tend to have less with them

So mainly they added a back flow plate to the deck to help eliminate the clumping issue. You can add the plate to your deck 🤔 and save a lot of money. I think it’s like $15 to $25. It goes right to the back of the chute opening to help prevent that grass from Being sucked back in the deck basically. You can’t buy those big diesels anymore, you have a hoss of a mower for sure

@@AlpineWarren how much of a budget and I’ll lead you to the best choices for your max :). My absolute favorite for my 3/4 yard is a bad boy 36” revolt stand on mower. I’ve never found a mower that I like better at all. It’s around $7500 though 🤔. I have worldlawn 36 for $5999, and a revolt sd 34 bad boy for $5899 but I have never cut with either one 🤔

@@AlpineWarren worldlawn Diamondback Definately most powerful transmissions 3200s at $4999 or lower depending on deck size :). You could do zt elite bad boy with 3100s for a hair over budget. My gpa has the 48” and loves it. Hustler raptor xd would be a good deal with 2800’s make sure you add $300 and get a full 5 year warranty. Scag Liberty would also get you a 5 year warranty as well :). The warranty covers the transmissions even though they are lighter

@ hustler xd you can grab a 42. Xdx with 3100s you can get in 48”. The Diamondback 48” with 3200s definately the best value.

@@actionbythought if you can swing it I would suggest fully commercial. 4400 transmissions would be the best for you with the hills. Also recommend more aggressive tires. Absolute lowest price would be a worldlawn king cobra under $9k. Bad boy rebel would be your next step under 10k. Grasshopper 226 would be a good pick. Hustler xone, or Scag tiger cat. Any of these and you will be good, the bad boy will have reapers stock, grasshopper you can upgrade to bar lug tires. Everything else you’ll have to get the dealer to upgrade the tires or order them off the net :).

@@corypiette9421 huge difference. Its right at 5hp difference. Not sure on exact torque numbers as they are quite on the 400 now due to restrictions. If you mow on both it’s night and day.

@ the last straw was at 50 hours the starter went not so bad but it taken 6 weeks to get another and the service center is not very good I’m just starting to look at other options

@ oh dang let me know if you need any help. I would’ve just took your starter to the starter shop and still warranteed it, most of the time ours will rebuild it while we are standing there.

@ another trick is that Yanmar is available on many brands, so if it’s gonna take more than a few days we can pick parts up at another dealer that has it in stock. Bad boy is pretty good about working with us to get y’all in and out faster. They have even taken parts off new tractors for us.

@@newbtubetecher they all have the loader unless you don’t need it. We haven’t had anyone decline a loader yet

@@12NFLtitles we’ve had good luck before. If you can swing it we have a twin option again this year the kohler. The twin has much less vibration, a lot smoother, exhaust is much better, and the power is solid. If not the Briggs has been good for us

Is the briggs ex1900 a newer engine?

@ it’s been out for a few years. It’s just the same 19hp we’ve had for many years. Just a new sticker and look. We used to do the kohler single, but had better reliability out of the Briggs single

@@jesser7964 you should be good. Around 8 years would be your average lifespan, so it may be even 12 to 15 you never know. It will just go until the oil breaks down and won’t allow lubrication anymore in them. If you are concerned, you could always take the next step up to the avenger, but then your changing oil and filters every 2 years or so and that’s about $100 a pop if you diy or even up to $200 to $250 if you get it done at the dealer. I would be on the fence. In some cases “sealed transmissions” or “non serviceable” are less hassle over the years. Just put back some cash in case you have a failure so it’s not all at once a big expense.

@ we put the tracks on 5400 transmissions so there was plenty of course :)

@@harisbuza8862 I think so. Like some Scag cheetahs with the 5400s had the trans go out and I think it’s because they have them turned up so high on the high speed.

@@wesavelawns2406 man it’s funny. What started all this I had a bad boy flip off my trailer and down the highway in 2007. They heard about it on lawnsite and fixed my mower. Here we are 16 years later their largest volume dealer in the world twice. They scratched my back and I scratched theirs. Since then I’ve had a ton of customers on the way in for an oil change and their mower came off the trailer, Broke frame in half, several have broke the decks, bad boy always replaced for free or gives crazy discounts for them. I think the most someone paid for a 60” deck was $300 for the shell….

@@QuarterOzzy 72 for sure. If you are concerned about it looking perfect a 61, but I have a 2 acre lot I mow with a 104 hustler 😂. Bad boy makes crazy low priced 72” around 10k

@@jcistheway we have only sold a few sfs. No issues so far. We don’t have a big stand on market here, in fact all we have sold so far was some 72s.

@@mmisko100 it’s a nice mower. Since the price increases most of our customers get the gas since it’s such a big spread. It’s almost $6k more now for diesel 25hp over a 38.5hp efi big block
