Incorrect installation of the release bearing is the leading cause of warranty in this kit! Incorrect bearing installation is not the result of a clutch defect and is not covered by warranty. Be certain that the fork retainer clips are installed completely inside the bearing collar when mounting the release bearing to the fork in order to avoid a no-release and/or hard pedal condition.

I would never replace my brake pads without replacing my caliper as well. When the brake pads wear the pistons move out further and further exposing the piston walls to salt, dirt etc. Then they rust or corrode. Pushing the pistons back in puts that rust or corrosion up against the rubber seals. This can cause leakage or worse piston freeze. When the piston freezes in position, the brake pads are pushed up against the rotor, causing lots of heat. You must stop when this happens. If you are in the boondocks, or in a bad part of town, you are in a very bad situation. Calipers don't cost that much. Cheap insurance.

I can’t tell you how many idiot mechanics notice how I didn’t say technicians have installed these wrong. I’ve been working on cars since I was a little kid unfortunately, my truck got a wreck and the transmission needed to be replaced along with the clutch so was in the shop. I went ahead and paid for the extra services since it was already there to get all that done as well. After a few months, I can no longer put the truck in gear. I took the transmission out myself and looked and of course they installed it incorrectly. I brought everything back to the shop just to show them and they told me I was an idiot so I showed them this video. You should’ve seen how lemon faced they got 😂

Hey you guys! One very important thing!!! When you install the yellow plastic bushing into the push rod make sure that the nipple goes towards the clutch pedal direction (the safety switch direction) NOT towards the master cylinder direction (fire wall direction) because the Jeep will not crank and you will go crazy trying to find the problem thinking it’s an electrical issue, it’s just the plastic bushing installed in the opposite direction! Good luck! 👍

When torqueing the pressure plate blots you should be tighten in a cress cross pattern one turn at a time each after the bolts meet the pressure plate to prevent warping the pressure plate.

Note : 2000 Yukon XL , When Replacing Disc Pads Only, Just Remove the 2- T-55 Torx Bolts on the Caliper, You Might need to Fight the Compression of the Piston Cups to get Clearance with the old Pads, in order to Pull Off the Caliper.... But it Will Slide Off...! Then Compress the Cups with a Compression Tool or a 6" Clamp. Pry out the Disc Pads...and Replace with the New...just as You Took it Apart. Then Reload the Caliper...and 2- T-55 Bolts, Torque Them, Start Your engine, Pump Your Brake Pedal...to Bring the Piston Cups Back into Position on the Pads/ Rotor. Do the Same on the Other Front Side. Note : No Need to Remove the Heavy Brackets... = Quick and Easy. Always Use Jack Stands...!! Your Welcome. BillinL.A. 12-05-2021. 5.3L

Sounds like you allow fluid to seep out and then you have to bleed the system yourself. That voids the advantage of buying a pre-bled system.
