The Unknown Gang that Terrorized Japan… and Disappeared.
The 1984 kidnapping of the hugely successful Japanese Glico corporation would be the first of many crimes that the group, naming themselves “The Monster with 21 Faces” would commit, leaving a trail of fear and mystery in their wake, and creating one of the most notorious unsolved cases in Japanese criminal history.

    I watched the zodiac movie and now this. But it always seemed like some attention seeking idiot claiming credit for random murders. The letters also had no meaning. It was just a publicity stunt to portray him/herself as an intelligent. Others might have also used his MO like copycat killers and this added credibility to zodiac.

    My hypothesis is that the truth lies in a combination of the skater revenge theory and the military connection. I think its likely that the murderer was a young (late teens/early 20s) military brat who was half Japanese and occasionally visited Japan as a result. He spoke the language and had some friends there and was into skateboarding at the park near the home and was pissed at the noise complaint the father made a few days prior and decided to take revenge. It would explain pretty much everything (a motive, familiarity with the area, the foreign sand in the bag, and physicality to pull it off alone). He is definitely someone with intense anger issues and a total lack of empathy (likely a severe personality disorder), but I don't think it was the work of a serial killer or he would have likely been caught committing a similar crime at some point afterwards. Like others have suggested, he probably had/has a main residence in the US and has never returned to Japan since committing the crime. The taxi cab driver picking up 3 teenagers in the area who were dressed similarly to the killer WITH one of them having a bloody injury was glossed over pretty majorly by police - focusing on the origin of the clothing doesn't really mean anything (aside from the sand in the bag) and I think they got too caught up in following that lead to nowhere rather than pressing further on witness interviews and local scene investigations. It will sadly likely never be solved unless the killer is arrested for something similar wherever he is now and his fingerprints can be run for a match. It is also very possible that the killer is dead now (either from suicide or OD or something else) - there is just so much DNA evidence left at the scene and such a brutal attack that I find it hard to believe he has never committed another violent crime in the 24 years since.

    I think they spent too much resources and time worrying on the handbag and shoes. The handbag and shoes are items that could have easily been thrifted at a thrift store. Slazenger shoes are/were not exclusive to Korea. It’s a British brand. They were simply manufactured in Korea. That is, a hypothetical murderer with Nike shoes is not going to be labeled as someone who frequently visits china. I really wish they dove deeper into the taxi cab who picked up 3 people right after. Wasn’t their blood in the cab ?

    My analysis is Rajesh & nupur knew the relationship between Aarushi and Hemraj or they got the clue about what's going between both but they waited to deal with this so they planned this on 16 May to confront or interrogate both Aarushi and Hemraj and interrogation went on but first nupur switched off aarushi's and her phone before and after that rajesh aggressiveness went too far resultant taking both life of aarushi and hemraj after killing both, they took hemraj deadbody to the terrace/roof locked that terrace door up then after went for aarushi to clean up things around aarushi bed and vaginal swab was done to hide any sexual activeness of her but this case was from 2008 and at that time talwar family was wealthy and powerful so committing crime doing corruption was so easy rich and powerful people like them doesn't they want justice for their 14-year-old daughter? Are they not fighting anymore? they know the truth but this is just an analysis maybe they are the victim or innocent, I am not proving them guilty but doubt will always be there for them RIP Aarushi and Hemraj killers are roaming free

      Corruption is much worse today than in 2008. Education and prosperity doesn't stop corruption from happening, pure intent does. When do you think people were more ethical, today or in 2008 ? Who knows what happened. The parents are careless at best and culprits at worst. You let a male servant stay on-premises and expect him to not bring in friends that could endanger your daughters life.

    Only hit man can do this kind a things.

  • @Zerviscos
    @Zerviscos 7 днів тому

    I have a hunch here, the killer was probably a hitman for hire. Primarily because, it was such a random killing, by meaning it wasn't a killing out of passion nor money, it was just killing a random family who were in coincidence blocking a plot of land. Nothing of importance was stolen, and for some reason, family documentation were being destroyed, assuming deeds, titles, etc to the land. So, it's possible rich developers were involved in the killing and police couldn't touch on them for probably a few reasons, one of the few I think is, police incompetence and corruption. Japan's police is always touted as one of the best in the world, but honestly how statistically informed are we? Like a lot of Asian countries, there's still a lot of context we don't know and they aren't exactly an open-book like most western countries are. For one thing, we do know to some extent, JP police has a lot on conviction rates and looking at the why makes sense, they're quite authoritarian to some regard and it's possible, atleast from anecdotal experiences from other people living there, the legal system in Japan isn't really all that good. HRW made a short video about it, with also some Japanese lawyers commenting on that similar note. So all in all, even with all that DNA evidence, it's either the Japanese detectives weren't that good or were being corrupt or blocked from actually making an arrest on someone or atleast identifying who. I actually would be more confident in US police actually making strides in solving heavier crimes than Japan, it's just that usually US police, moreso on the beat cops are really the ones that look bad, that's why US police is generalized as such.

    Little rural.communities like this would have been so tight knit as to know who the perpetrator was if it was someone from among their own. I think the best theory would be based on a stranger wandering through, who found ample comfort and food to pick from skirting through the home and property over a couple of days. The intrigue of the killer having stayed after the act is similar to more modern cases, but I think the familiarity that the perp built through observing at first and then obsessing over the occupants of the property is what would have fueled an act of brutal violence such as this. The stranger theory is also able to make sense of why none of the locals after the fact ever asserted gossip or suspicions of the perp. Just as easily as he entered and destroyed their lives, he departed afterwards with no way of knowing where he went. If it had been someone known to the family or community, unaccounted for absences or just plain old nosiness would have turned over leads. A transient with an inability to make ties finds shelter in the barn, and pilfering food. The snow and cold restricts movement, ensuring proximity to the residents for long enough to become emotionally charged. After the encounter, the drifter lingers, making use of the resources or perhaps awaiting a break in the weather before leaving. There are similarities to the railway riding killer cases in the states.
