Приєднався 23 лют 2019
My name is Luke, and, like you, I love trains. I am a UA-camr, voice actor, and train enthusiast, and since 2005, I've had trains on my brain. My inspirations? Coasterfan2105 and AmtrakGuy365. I've created videos of model and real trains with my own style. This includes anything from local railfanning to informational videos to my popular Steam Locomotive Profiles series. I also have a website for newcomers, old rail buffs, and people who want to ask questions. Come along for Train Guru! All Aboard!

Переглядів 22 тис.2 місяці тому
In November 1996, Union Pacific 844 pushed a stalled freight train up Archer Hill west of Cheyenne, Wyoming, getting the train over the hill. Many years later, the newly restored Union Pacific 4014, Big Boy, pushed a stall freight train in Blair, Nebraska. Union Pacific 844 has been the "Living Legend" of the UP Steam Program since the late 1960s. Despite nearing eighty years old, the locomotive still has quite a bit of resilience, as shown in 1996. Constructed in 1899 by the Stearns Manufacturing Company of Erie, Pennsylvania, Hetch Hetchy & Yosemite Valley Railroad #2 operated in the Yosemite Valley hauling logging trains. Throwback Tuesday: Memorial Day at Roaring Camp (2019)

Five years ago in 2019, this was my second trip to Roaring Camp. Still using my iPhone 6s, I recorded on the main campground with the Civil War reenactment in the background firing cannons. This was the last year of the battle at Roaring Camp, and my first and only exposure to it. Enjoy this blast from the past! SOCIALS: Instagram: train_guruyt Website: trainguru.wixsite.com/trai...

Union Pacific 618: Crown Jewel of Utah
The real horror story of the Railroad: PSR
I find it odd that the man who was with her, signaled her to cross the railroad knowing the train getting really close and running fast. Then he stopped, turned on his left instead of stopping her and turning on her side since they walked together. The man with her didn’t even held her arm and blocked her view and unaware that the train was already just a meter or more away from her. I just observed that something is odd
When Nerbraska 66 said in there song roll on big boy they said right before the first chorus “the last of all her class(referring to big boy 4014) she survives from out the past, to show the power of steam in modern time” no one could have known how right they were
Love that song. Nebraska 66 is one of my favorite country bands.
Wish they still made them.
Me too!
This was the first video that showed me the importance of railroad safety, and although i live in Brooklyn (where there is only subways) at first i didn't think much of this, that's until i decided to look for the uncensored video, then.....i saw it, after seeing that video i toke info like this very seriously so that nothing like this happens to me or my family or anyone i love (or like). Although this video is a few years old, i always remember the first time i saw this video. Edit: now in the present day, when I see the video i get less disturbed, but seeing the train striking Mary makes me feel cold all over my body, now when I see the video, the only thing I think of is how Mary's Lawyer and the women wearing black clothes where lucky by backing from the tracks, avoiding the train.
Not the strangest recommendation I’ve gotten, but I watch channels that cover rail accidents, so I guess the algorithm decided to recommend me this.
I don’t understand, why are ppl allowed to cross through the tracks??
Lights and bells are normally sufficient in warning people. But we can’t create overpasses for every railroad crossing because it would cost too much.
A Railway can have all the bells and whistles in place, I am not crossing a railroad track!! Why was this even allowed.
Crossing lights and bells are normally sufficient enough to warn people that a train is approaching.
loook at people. stay offff tracks..its called. COMMON SENSE
STAY OFF THE. TRACKS
Dude I live in Downers Grove, IL
I like the pic you shared of Mary when she was alive. She was a beautiful woman. Saw her mother's memorial site and her mother and sisters were beautiful too. There's old pics of Mary with her siblings on there. Rest in peace Mary.
I was southbound on Fairview waiting for the train to pass, i was about six cars back. It was a mess. 🙏
From what I have read, this accident was filmed by a railroad buff. It was the last time this engine would be in service and he wanted to record it. He was on the platform with a camera on a tripod and he had his grandson with him. When Mary was hit, the impact tore her body apart. One of those body parts flew all the way across the tracks, struck the photographer and actually broke his leg. That’s the uncensored version. I couldn’t even watch this one. I have only been able to look at a still of her last moment before the train hit. She turned to face it. I hope she didn’t have any time to register her fate.
Rip Terry A. Davis.
My uncle was a train driver for years here in Sydney Australia and had the misfortune of being involved with 4 jumpers in his 35 years. Something I am lucky I never had to attend in my job as a forensic investigator.
What an amazing and extremely atmospheric ghost story! So well told, and with music that adds to the story making it gripping, rather than detracting from it. Greetings from the UK by the way! If any Americans are interested in ghost stories about Britain's railways (railroads), then I highly recommend the following video: 'Haunted Tracks - Ghostly tales from Britain's railways'. It's an excellent video, and contains some extremely creepy stories. Super chilling, and perfect for Halloween....or Christmas.
5:00 what a WONDERFUL idea having the train engineer to REENACT the incident while the d3ad woman was lying on the railway. AMAZING! 🙌
😢🙏
Man, this pop up on my recommendations. I remember seeing the video here in the early days of UA-cam. So sorry for those that were affected by this. May Mary Rest in Peace.
My heart breaks for her kids.
It's sad that this lady lost her life, but it was her fault. What made her run out in front of that train? I can't imagine doing that. Even if I thought I could make it, what if I tripped? Why take a chance?
How could they file a lawsuit fault was hers and hers alone
This was one of the original snuff videos that spread in very-late 1990s to early 2000s on Napster, Frostwire, Limewire, and other file sharing programs under the curious name “train girl”. Everyone thought the person was a little girl and her dad. No one had any more information about her until much later when details started slowly coming out on the Web.
I can't believe Sarah Jones's family managed to sue CSX. They were all trespassing!
That’s true. They won a settlement, and a pretty good one.
1 what was the reson why your cheenl started
Train girl has no relation to tub girl , to be clear.
I can’t believe it’s been that long since that incident happened. I remember seeing the whole video long time ago when UA-cam was not censoring stuff… thank you for making a full video of this incident of who she was. It gives life to this person and gives me a better knowledge to who I witness long time ago.
1. What has been your favorite steam engine of all time? 2. Which video did you have the most fun making so far?
2005 was NOT a down for the 4449 for she did a doubleheader with SP&S 700 along the Columbia River Gorge in July of that year
Thanks for the correction. I will do a remake of this documentary later on down the road. Keep on the lookout for that!
The lawyer was at fault. Any human who thinks they are superhuman and guides another person into danger is at fault.
This happen all the time with people. They see another person moving in a direction and assume it's safe when it isn't. It's the herd mentality.
Great video. Thank you!
Awesome ghost train story love railroad ghost stories
Glad you enjoyed it
For trains we should return to steam locomotives at least for passengers cross country
That would be a sight to see, but a very unlikely one.
Today is my birthday.
Happy birthday!
@@TrainGuru thank you!
I remember seeing this on F.O.D. when I was in 9th grade. Mid 99s
Apparently women are smarter than men😂
THERE WAS A VIDEO THAT THEY USED TO SELL ON TV THAT HAD THE FULL SCEEN ON IT.

Love Engineer Steve Lee reply “What Do you think they did before Diesel” Does anyone know how Steve Lee is doing? I hope well and Happy Thanksgiving.
I saw the unedited version of this. The impact...it literally knocked her into the next life.
It's been years since I've seen it, but you don't forget the loud _WHUMP_ of the impact. I often wonder about the man who filmed it.
So the divorce lawyer did not get paid
I am not sure.
