It's a callback as presented, but if you replace The System with just the "Ladies and gentlemen..." section it perfectly attaches to Babylon without any crossfading (the audience starts to fade in during the intro) and it makes more sense to the story, being the circus MC starting the show. The first 2 sides are the presentation in the tent, then The System rolls in, which is the sound of the four horsemen rolling in. The destruction of the world is side 4, the ascension of humanity to Heaven is Break. THIS is the correct sequence of songs

I did some digging and I think someone posted that the secret is the cheat code menu. You get it by pressing down 25 times in the pause menu.

Yes, Omori is not a game for everyone. Frankly, it seems ridiculous to me to see people getting so bored with the headspace sections. I think there is nothing to get bored of in the headspace sections, except for the Humphrey dungeon. Boss fights, new features and designs are good, but unfortunately some of people are just for the sake of "I return to the real world and the story progresses". It seems like it would be a much more interesting game if Omori just told the story in the real world with 7-8 hours gameplay time instead of dealing with the dream world and mysteries with 20 hours gameplay time.If Omori was like this, it would be a game that would appeal to everyone. Omori has a structure that people who like it will love it very much and those who don't like it cannot understand it. At the same time, everyone can found a game that people praise a lot to be overrated. For me that game was Hollow Knight, for someone else it might be Omori.Even if you dont like game im sure you can tell that its very well made.

Tbh, that’s totally fair. OMORI has its flaws, and it is DEFINITELY not a game for everyone.

The fact that this is one of the only reviews of this game is insane. I remember seeing a review of this game from a guy with a snoz pfp (the weird nose guy from berserk) it was a pretty entertaining video. He called thor a nepo baby a bunch though. The video got taken down by Thor. He made a follow up video addressing it. Then his channel disappeared. Its fucking crazy. I can't find a trace of him. His content was edgy but he made (to my knowledge) the only well constructed review of the game even though it's been in early access for 7 years. Got his channel nuked all because he made fun of Thor all throughout the video I'm assuming

Not related to yume nikki, but I recommend Outer Wilds (of course if you haven't played it don't look it up because almost anything could be a spoiler). It is an amazing and unique exploration game, not other like it certainly. The dlc is just as good, and is highly recommend ed with it! I have seen the games you enjoy, and you seem to have close tastes to mine, so if you haven't played it I recommend it.

you could play LSD: Dream Emulator. It is the original inspiration for Yumme Nikki and alot of the unique elements from the game are mechanics and themes ported from LSD. i know its like. obvious. but i cant not mention it since it is my favorite game ever. (literaly my pfp its from lsd)

Also, I wouldn't say the story is BAD perchance, but it's more like it is poorly presented with minimal exposition.

I can see your point of view in the way that it feels half-baked, but I think the point of releasing it early was to show off some of the cool aspects without having it basically finished. It's just a teaser calm down.

I went on a date with a guy recently who believed in this crap (didn’t know it until the evening after a really nice date, unfortunately) and it made him immediately undateable. People who believe stuff like this are in their own reality, and it makes even being around them impossible.

Shocking that the game has “overwhelmingly positive” on Steam. You say you have nothing against the devs which I respect, but I do have an issue. I was going through the negative reviews of the game, so many people who had bought it because of its spectacular review score, but they had no idea it was being made by a streamer so they were really disappointed by the actual quality. He’s basically using his massive audience and influence to manipulate the steam charts, which feels so scummy. Not to mention his promised “monthly updates” when the game hasn’t had anything added in nearly 10 months now, and it’s still very thin on content.

5:51 can be confirmed. I used to play the 3DS version back then, but I honestly don't know if the remixed version of Predestined Fate is used in different versions of the game.
