@@bromunn8102 I'll try my best. 🤗
❤ The best perfume in my opinion, I've had a lot of perfumes but I never get tired od this unique delightful fragrance!
@@carolissac5649 even the current formulation is great
Beautiful Love Story, beautiful perfume 😍 My husbands favorite on me.
You do such nice reviews! ❤
Scent ✔️ Performance ✔️ Value for money ✔️ I only owned a 5ml decant previously, but it is one of my worn frags 💙🫶
Are you planning to get a full bottle?
@@paologomez1698Finally got one sir!!! Hehe
I have it It's too loud
That's why it's popular in the fragrance community and it can be had for so cheap. 😉
The only thing I dont like about Mefisto is that damn tassle 😅! Its aggravating lol
Ha! I know what you mean. But they've fixed that problem. They created an indentation or a neck specifically for the tassle.
Do you know how this version compares to Eclat d’ Arpege? Thank you for sharing!
Totally different scent. This one is classic. Eclat is a modern freshie. Not a fan of that one. Sorry. Not because it is a modern scent. But it's just not my style.
@@paologomez1698 that’s great info, I’ve only encountered one and was curious about the other so I appreciate your insight!
Its sospiro not xerjoff. But i think xerjoff just acquisition sospiro company.hmm Is sospiro and xerjoff accento have a same smell
There was a reay brand Sospiro and Xerjoff both under Xerjoff. The bottle I have in the video. Later on, the scents from Sospiro were absordbed by Xerjoff hence they are all Xerjoff now. Sospiro stil exists.
I have this iconic Nina Ricci Fragrance in my Fragrance Collection as it is beautiful and timeless . As my other favorite Anais Anais by Cacheral & Eacape by Calvin Klein amongst some of my top 10!favourites❤😊
I'm going to try and hunt for that iconic Nina Ricci. I love perfumes from the yesteryear.
My perfume.
I love classics!
Thanks for the short reviews nice! You are amazing and so cute :)
Thank you very much for the kind words. =)
Why do perfumes get reformulated? I thought Jeanne Lanvin was a woman! Thanks for the review.
Jeanne Lanvin is a woman. There are many reasons why perfumes get reformulated...a few would be: to cut down costs...or sometimes a certain oil or note becomes very expensive, they have to find an alternative...sometime because of IFRA where they would restrict the use of certain notes...and many more reasons...
@@paologomez1698 Thanks. It is just so hard as so many of my favourite perfumes have been discontinued or in the case of Arpege, reformulated.
@@SelfcareKaren luckily we can still find some vintages out here...
@@paologomez1698 I have some of Arpege but they smell "off" 😢😢😢
I wish there were more reviews on must de cartier and gold i am.gpimg to buy them i hope i love them ❤ thx for this ! Good job . I wanted another vintage scent and to not smell like everyone else ! The otherone i have is Boucheron and i love it. The vintage one tho wayyy better . Newer one faintly smells right and full of alcohol ! They used to make them sooo much better
I love Boucheron. Would be nice to smell a vintage.
Mate do u think it would work layering this with naxos?
I don't own Naxos and I don't remember how it smells so I am not sure.
I was in college when this perfume first came out on the market and as a French major I was in love with ALL things French, including Paloma Picasso perfume, I adored Paloma, admiring her glamorous life and high class pedigree. Paloma Picasso is as high class and as glamorous as her name sake perfume ❤❤❤.
I agree, her perfume is indeed high class and glamorous. I find most chypre classics are classy and sophisticated.
This is a strong but very sophisticated fragrance. Definitely for adults, not adolescents.
You're right.
Very strong but nice.. last for hours
Marilyn Monroe wore Lavin Arpege in 1960 on the set of the Misfits. As she said in an article and I quote: “I like to wear something different once in a while”. I spray it on my ankles, into the back of my knees and all the way up to my eyeballs so the fragrance all belong to me. Credit to Erin Parsons & Mona Marlow 💄 @paologomez is the smell smiler to Agent Provocateur maitresse or would you say the old version of Arpege is but the new version is more like Jean Paul Gaultier classic orange 🍊 woman?
Didn't know about that story of Marilyn. Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately I have not smelled Maitresse.
@@paologomez1698 maybe it’s something you can come back to one day? Great I’ve found you and this way we all learn something new 🫶🏻Ba-dee-dly-dee-dly-dee-dly-dum! Boop-boop-a-doop 💋
I have lanvin princess but like i wnt to try this but im hesitate 😂 ,pls advice me ,❤
Princess looks like a modern fragrance. Arpege is a very classic type of scent. If you like Chanel 5...it's that type of scent.
I adore patchouli and I absolutely love this fragrance
Me too!
I love Private Collection! Thanks!
You have great taste. 😉
I love this and its a masterpiece. I also love boucheron by boucheron and jaipur boucheron 🎉🎉🎉🎉
1944? Imagine?!?! It is indeed a masterpiece. I also do own Boucheron by Boucheron. Another masterpiece.

New subbed , was searching for a review and watch yours. I want to order it asap❤❤❤ sounds gorgeous
How do I know if I’m getting genuine vintage?
1. Make sure you are getting from a reputable source. 2. Well, I am assuming (good assumption though) back in the day they never made fakes of this perfume. 3. Take note there is a risk that the perfume might be stale already. Going back to number one, you need to know your seller.
@@paologomez1698 can UNopened be stale?
@@onionhead4090 well, if it wasn't stored properly, if it was stored close to heat or direct sunlight then it could have affected the juice inside
Thanks for describing aldehydes, helpful video
Thank you very much. Glad you liked.
Not related, but do I see Ombre Rose on the top shelf behind you? Would love to hear your take on that vintage fragrance!
It's a powdery rose. And a bit resinous. Beautiful stuff. Performance is great as well. Literally like a rose scented talcum powder. =)
Roudnitska is the creator behind the original Rochas femme. What you have in your hand is a reformulation by Oliver Cresp. The two are quite a bit different.
Exactly. I would love to smell the vintage formulation.
This shit stinks
Jubilation XXV is the absolute pinnacle of ALL gentleman's fragrances. It's elegant, understated, flashy and discreet... All at the same time.
I agree. Have you smelled Jubilation 40?? It's stunning!
Why does it smell like a cow shed on my skin then, my wife told me that, whilst reflection and beach hut she said smelt amazing on me.
@@edgroves2051 it's how your brain interprets the smell. Maybe it just reminds you of something.
@@paologomez1698 once my wife said it smells like cow muck and hay, that’s all I could smell, she’s right. Then we tested that theory and sprayed it on her skin and her friend smelt it and she said a similar thing, “urgh that’s not nice” That is not a good hit ratio, even if you take that small sample set and expand it there’s a high chance that a lot of people out there think you smell of cow manure or a farm shed. Ill stick to the scents that are a little bit more immediately likeable
@@edgroves2051 which ones are your faves?
It smells like my mom
you have bad taste
I like the way your mom smells on my face
It does not smell good for me
you are referring to the wrong notes, your bottle is a newer release which doesnt have the same ingredients nir does it have cinnamon but instead is even more heavy in cumin compared to the reformulation. I suggest checking their official website and not fragantica for this one
How is this compared to the Must de Cartier EDP?
The edp has more vanilla, more depth, more full bodied. But hey, this version is already full bodied. This version has a "green" vibe.
@@paologomez1698 thank you. Do they smell similar as far as overall? I’m asking as I live the EDP but it’s no longer available and apparently there is the EDT which is but I haven’t smelled it at all, so it’ll be a blind buy. Is the EDT still powdery, which is what I like? I heard the EDT is sweeter and more Jasmine
@@iloverome1274 yes they do smell similar.
@@iloverome1274 yes the edt is powdery. It has a cocoa powder vibe. But the flroals are barely detectable but it's there. But over the edt and edp smells similar only with different nuances.
@@paologomez1698 thank you so much for your prompt response to my query. I really appreciate it
The Eau De is weaker. You gotta get the pure fragrance spray. It's heaven and endlessly fascinating to me. Transported me to childhood upon first sniff.
I am sure it is heavenly, I can imagine. Risky to buy from ebay as you wouldn't know if it the juice is still ok.
Subscribed 👍
Thank you! Have a great day sir!

hello Paolo, perfect review ... i have Mitsouko EDT but it has that senior house vibe so am a bit hesitating to blind buy Rochas Femme but wanna buy that because of prising it a lot ... Declaration Cartier also is not my fave, but i like Eau d´Hermes because of vintage heritage and quality/uniqueness ... don´t know if it´s not smelling too flowery like Mitsouko EDT (which i have)
Thank you..have you smelled Jubilation 25 Amouage for women?.very similar.

There’s no way you could pull this off due to your body shape and height. I know you
nah, this is for grown men, not for boys. 30 and up
Ofcourse you can wear it
It’s same Rosendo Mateu Nº 5
I can see what you mean...

Just a little question for you, Paolo☺️. Is it this (cilindrical) version still currently availble in UK ? Because i know that there are two different versions. I'm italian but i ask you for a friend of mine that is British. She would love both the two different versions, of course, but this one that you've presented i think will be her favourite one💖🌸. Thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️
The bottle I am holding is what's available currently. Surely you will find it in the UK easily.
@@paologomez1698 thank you very much☺️
One of the most Beautiful female perfumes of every time 💖🌸...such a wonderful, kind, tender and pure floral that i would compare with another wonderful floral: Idylle of Guerlain💖🌸. Both are magical, soft and stunning. Unsurplisingly, Quelques Fleurs of Houbigant was one of Princess Diana's favourite perfumes. Infact, she used it for her Royal Wedding with Prince Charles💖🌸. It's perfect on girls who love romanticism and kindess 💖(i see better these two perfumes on young women than on mature women, of course it's my personal opinion💖💖). Such a Beauty this Quelques Fleurs 💖🌸. Fantastic review❤️
Thank you. Let me know if you find a bottle.
I have a feeling this is a dupe of Xerjoff Opera. What do you think?
I will try to revisit that one for you....
@@paologomez1698 thank you, it is very kind of you. I think I am going to get the Picasso perfume, it is not so pricey. And I still have a sample of the Opera, so that I can compare both. I have a feeling they have totally the same vibe.
