As with most cars, the demo vehicle in the video has three keys: one with the remote and two backup keys. The key shown at 0:09 is the original non-folding key that contains the remote circuit housing. At 1:47, I displayed one of the original backup keys (on the right) and the duplicate key (on the left), which was copied from the original before being installed inside the aftermarket 'flip-key' fob. You're correct that they look different, but both are keys for the same car. I didn't mention the obvious difference because the tutorial focuses on installing the duplicate key into the aftermarket flip-key fob.

@@samuelugh5729 you can try the steps in the video or, you can look underneath the vehicle on the passenger side where the floorboard meets the firewall; you should see a small rubber or plastic tube protruding slightly. Alternatively, you can check inside the engine bay, also on the passenger side, where the AC system components are located, and trace the hose as it runs down toward the firewall and exits beneath.

Since you're having trouble getting the pedal to return after pressing it & now can’t shift gears, it’s likely that one or both of these components is failing, which prevents the clutch from disengaging properly. Air in the system could also cause these symptoms, but if the problem escalated that quickly, it's more likely that the seals in the master or slave cylinder have worn out, or there’s a fluid leak. I'm not entirely sure about the mechanic’s recommendation to replace the clutch, gearbox, flywheel, and hydraulics, but it could be a precautionary measure based on his diagnostics, especially if he noticed significant wear or if you're uncertain about the car's history. However, I’d suggest thoroughly inspecting the clutch hydraulics and checking for any fluid leaks first, before committing to a full gearbox/clutch replacement.

If it persists, you might want to have a mechanic inspect the clutch system or transmission to pinpoint the exact cause.

Since you’re considering buying this car, I’d suggest having your mechanic check it out personally to be safe, even if the clutch itself feels fine at the moment. Better to catch and address a minor issue before it becomes a major (and costly) repair.

@@lionslove779 it could be due to a worn clutch release bearing. It might also be related to a loose pedal, or clutch fork or a worn input shaft bearing in the transmission. While this is just my opinion based on what you've described, it's a good idea to have your mechanic take a look sooner rather than later.

You can also try combining the module's IG1 & IG2 and connecting them to the single ignition wire and then test if the engine starts. In case of any hiccups, I suggest you consult with a professional installer near you before proceeding to make sure everything is connected correctly.

@@MrDrag110 You don't necessarily have to buy a completely new keyless entry system if you already have an aftermarket one installed. It’s possible to just add a push start button & integrate it with your existing keyless entry system. However, compatibility between the existing system & the new push start button is key. You’ll need to check whether the push start button you plan to buy is compatible with your current keyless entry system or if any additional wiring or modules are needed to make it work together. Sometimes, aftermarket keyless entry systems can be adaptable, but it’s a good idea to consult a professional installer or technician to avoid any electrical issues or installation problems. If the existing system isn't compatible, then buying a new set (keyless entry + push start button) might be a better option to ensure everything works properly.
