The EASIEST way to make chocolate covered strawberries! Valentines' Day Food Ideas
Hey! :)
Today I'm going to show you the easiest way to make chocolate covered strawberries!
You will need:
200g dark (or milk) chocolate
50g white chocolate
12 strawberries
Piping bag, kitchen towel/paper & a glass
These are super easy to make, but are so effective with the white chocolate stripes - perfect to eat as they are, put them on top of cakes or as gifts for Valentine's Day :)

    Lovely kitchen, I think american kitchens unrenovated look horrible but the U.K & Australia & euro kitchens are much nicer The U.S are suppose to be leaders in everything gadgets yet the everyday house have backward looking designs

    I have the same color! It is so gorgeous, sometimes I look at it sitting there on the counter in all of its glory, and think "I can't believe its mine"!! 😂😂 I made a cover for it out of clear vinyl because I wanted to protect it but not cover it, if you know what I mean!! Its far too beautiful to hide it away! Congratulations on receiving this beautiful mixer!! 🎉🎉

    Crux is affordable and great for a homecook feeding a family. Kitchen Aid is for attachments and additional accessories, people who sell pastries, and status oriented followers.

    This looks amazing, someone in my family has recently been diagnosed with gluten intolerance so I’ll try this for their birthday. Just a question: what is self raising gluten free flour and where to find it? I have been baking with a mix of oat flour and rice flour and almond flour + quite some baking soda but the cake is not really fluffy.

      Hi, thank you! In the UK, gluten free self raising flour is readily available in supermarkets in the “free from” aisle. If you’re not from the UK, I’d suggest a gluten free all purpose flour, but you’ll want to add baking powder to it. You’ll also need to make sure the baking powder you use is gluten free too (most are, but it’s worth checking). Hope that helps 😊

    Ingredients: 375g plain flour 1tsp bicarb 3tsp ground ginger 1tsp ground cinnamon 130g butter 175g light brown sugar 1 large egg 4 tbsp golden syrup Method: Mix your dry ingredients together, then rub in butter until fine breadcrumb texture. Add in your egg, golden syrup and vanilla then mix again. Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge. Whilst it’s chilling, pre-heat the oven to 160 fan. Take the dough out the fridge and roll out to a few mm thick. Bake for around 10-14 minutes until just going golden at the side but still soft in the centre.

    Ingredients: 180g butter 150g dark chocolate 3 large eggs 175g light brown sugar 75g caster sugar 90g plain flour 50g cocoa powder 1tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt Ferrero rochers Nutella 8x10inch tin Bake at 160 Celsius fan for around 23-27 minutes. Top tips: Whisk your eggs and sugars until they increase in volume and when you lift your whisk up, your mixture leaves a trail - this will create the flaky top! Undercook your brownies! You obviously don’t want them raw, but still a little gooey so they are fudgy. Check with a cocktail stick or knife and you should see some gooeyness but not too much it looks raw. Leave in the fridge to cool. This will give you the ultimate fudgy texture 😊

    Hi, just to let you know i made the cookie dough pie for my sons birthday today and it was 10 out off 10 , i am glad that i left it in the fridge overnight to set, i had to substitute the white hazelnut spread for nutella but was still delicious, thank you 😊❤

I’ve had a bit of a break recently but will be back with some Christmas bakes soon! 😊 Well to let you in on a secret, this was just a table I’d get out the garage every time I wanted to film. I’ve moved house recently and have a proper island fitted and that’s a 1 meter gap all around. Hope that helps!

      Hi, yes that would work! 😊 The only things I’d be extra careful on is the quantity of xantham gum as if you put too much in the texture will turn kind of sticky. Also as it is a smaller batch, just take care not to over mix it. Hope that helps 😊

      Hi, so sorry for the late reply! I would recommend wrapping them tightly in cling film or plastic wrap, then put them in an airtight container. Depending on your climate, you can either store them at room temperature or in the fridge. They should be fine for Monday if you make sure you wrap them and store them airtight 😊 I actually find the brownies taste better the day after anyway as the flavours have some time to come out! Hope that helps 😊

    Well done for having a go love. Before Gregs bought every one out and destroyed the small bakery industry in the UK. Thanks to the defunct Competition Commission's demise. There were small bakeries everywhere for ever. I used to buy these doughnuts because I loved them. They had a name and I have forgotten it now as Im 70yo. It was something like Vienna Donuts. Im not sure if I'm remembering that right but some one will correct me if not. We never called them finger donuts in places I lived. IE Yorkshire, Wiltshire, Avon. I am a Brit but, I spent 20 years in US where they called them Long Johns lol. That was our (British) name for old fashioned long underwear, so it put me off buying them there lol. Your doughnuts looked so nice.

    Main difference is that the Kitchenaid can whisk for over 20/30 minutes without overheating at high speed, even longer. Also, american buttercream is not challenging for a Kitchenaid mixer, try doing italian meringue or enriched bread that would need long kneeding like a brioche. I don't recommend lowering the head of the mixer that roughly, the motor is on top and you'll risk damaging it or destabilizing it's parts. Also always use the plastic pouring shield if you are going to add powdered sugar or flour, that reduces the quantity of those ingredients getting inside the motor (if not, you'll have to open it up and clean it at least 3 times a year to prevent issues). It's an amazing machine, my Artisan is 8 years old and works amazing, is the one I use the most (I'm a pastry chef), following that model, I recommend the Commercial Heavy Duty one for larger amounts of preparations.

      @@FireLlama550 There is a way I've not tried before which I want to... you use 2 pieces of greaseproof paper, one goes lengthways and one widthways. It seems a bit of a waste because you have a big overlap of paper at the base, but defo want to try it!

      @The Geeky Baker I've seen that way too. I've also seen the pre cut and shaped ones. I just don't like the fluted edges on them and the fact you need a different pack for every size pan you have so it ends up taking up loads of room.
