Also, such a good point about not being a good tester for the language exchange apps, I find they give me a little anxiety bc I don't like texting as well, but you saying it out loud made me realize, maybe I just don't have to LOL I can stick to things like italic and other things for language exchange instead of forcing it on those apps. lol

I am adhd and I have a very hard time with memory, besides flash cards what are good ways to remember. I would think every day practice is not enough, or perhaps it is.

This was 6 months ago so not sure if you're still into Xhosa. I would recommend that you go and speak to people in the street and shops (stores) every day because African people are so encouraging! They will even teach you extra words or phrases if you ask them to. There are quite a few Xhosa songs if you google them. There's also iTalki which has native speaker tutors and short trial lessons so you can see they resonate with your learning style. I'm South African and let me tell you, this is a very difficult language to learn whether you come from this country or not.

Three minutes into this video I got the app, did 5 lessons and I will say this is a great app.

i grew up in south africa (moved to uk when i was 15) and i was raised vegetarian. it definitely was difficult but in joburg there were shops with vegetarian friendly food and in general most of the restaurants had at least one thing. vegan on the other hand 🥶

Great information but the extremely tight spaces between your spoken sentences are edited so closely that it feel breathless to listen to--a strain to listen and process without natural pauses. I would never re-listen to a video that does this. Sadly, this practice is common to save video time, but it's not worth it for the 60 seconds added.

I don't understand the reviews. Language Transfer (german) is a joke. Twenty (long) minutes wasted in a completely uninteresting monologue.

Doulingo is the best langauge app for free never pay for langauge apps its never worth it and doulingo is better then langauge transfer lol

This video brought back memories. I decided that I waned to learn Spanish during the pandemic and I remember having a blast watching movies and youtube vloggers. It's crazy to believe that was 5 years ago. Now, the language has permanently become a part of my life and I can't even imagine living without it (I'm currently studying it in university). I even got into listening to some worship music in Spanish as well, so I related to that a lot too😂. I liked the way you conveyed that information too. I didn't even skip the promotion because it was so interesting 😂

As you learn it the languages becomes more interesting. Its a challenge but it can be learned. It will take years to master however from the beginning you start to understand basics and start to understand basic reading of phrases
