This noise is using the wrong oil try mineral not synthetic oil drying up inside the rotor not good and check your compression needs to be checked !

Did you use any solution to clean it? How did you cleaned this?

How do you connect iPhone to that Xrons. Mine don’t connect to my iPhone, any tips or guides on that, would really help. I can’t connect through hot spot.idkkkkk😢😢

Mines done 70k, do you think it needs cleaning. I bought HR-V from a garage, said it had a full service..ie no oil filter change, no fuel filter change, no air filter change. Your better off diy your self as nower days everyone is out to rip people off big time. I blow the bollocks out of mine in 2nd to get hot and the smoke that came out cleaned it I beleve.

100000000% air leak. Your manifld is either lose or your oil overflow tube popped off causing it to run lean. Been there. Done that.

You’ve given me the confidence to do it myself. Just bought a 2008 civic and on extreme acceleration to burn off BMWs it has a little smoky cough. So I’ll clean the EGR and then use an infuel DPF cleaner. Bit of a blow from the exhaust as well so once that’s sorted it will be a weapon.👍🏻🤫🤐😬

Sometimes there is no pink cable, but a brown cable( the brown cable I going from the head unit to canbus, you have to split it open can connect the wires all together, so the rear camera will get the power. ) all, depending on the head unit should buy.

Moron the blocked hole on the egr valve goes into the inlet manifold and that is where you will find all the carbon and sludge...

I dont know how it works on manuals, but for automatic cars use both red wires on the camera end of the RCA. Power (red)/Trigger(red), Ground(black) need to be added to the reverse light. That circuit is energized when you put it into reverse. Side not i believe his head unit is a 12v source power, if you have a databus connection this will not work for you as you need the power to come from the reverse light to have it trigger the head unit into switching into reverse mode. hope that helps anyone.

What symptoms did the engine have when the pipe was blocked, I have the same one and it goes into limp mode if I rev it more than 30000k, it just accelerates normally

Do you have that loud-ass chirping everytime you go into reverse??

How did you get it to show the reverse camera on reverse? Did you have to fit a switch to the gear lever or did it already have the connections? Thank you!

Wow that was really clogged up! I think EGR and manifold cleaning should be considered part of routine servicing for diesel engines, it should be done every 3 or 4 years max because the engines always run better with a clean valve and a clean manifold. My Civic needs a full service soon so I will do this at the same time I do the oil and filters. Car is on 160k and I've no idea if its even been done before so this will be interesting!

Do you know if this can make check enigne icon appear on the dashboard? I just got the icon and the car has much less power. However, it regained most of the power after 10 minutes od driving, but the icon remains of course. 🤔
