Peter wrote "Steve just sucked all the oxygen out of the room". Although there may have been hurt feelings and harsh words at the time, they did make peace and even got together shortly before Steve's death to try to put another album. Peter has said he was devestated by Steve's death and hoped that they would have been able to finish the album.

Too late now, Whoopi & Sonny both need to be fired. What happened to the Barbara days. I taped the show everyday. Once Whoopi started, I kissed this goodbye. You also lost me on the Nightly News with David Muir after he showed his hate hate hate hate from him on the debate. Had such respect for him but no more. I think he needs to be reminded as well that he’s a host of a very important show. What happened to the dignity that came with Walter Cronkite and Barbara Walters. Those two had character and respected the people they interview.
