Conservative Restoration of a Bike - I’ll need to install a small motor on it
In this second part of the video, I will carry out a conservative restoration of a bike that I will later use to install the Alpino Micromotor. I will try to keep as many of the bike's original components as possible to give it a vintage, well-worn look

The Ancestor of the Electric Bike - a Conservative Restoration

This engine was marketed after the Second World War to offer ordinary people the possibility of moving around, using it together with a simple bicycle. In the video, in addition to the restoration process, I will briefly delve into the history of these engines, illustrating the reasons for their birth and the context in which they emerged. While I will be restoring this engine, I will not be fo...
Can a Radio Rewind Time? Picnic Radio Restoration
The radio belongs to my grandmother. I found it among her belongings in the basement, and when I asked her who it belonged to, she replied saying it was a gift from my grandfather, her husband, and that they used to take it with them when they went on picnics. My grandfather is no longer with us, and my grandmother was very upset about the condition the radio was in. Without saying anything, I ...

Flashlight Restoration for a Bike from 1950

Flashlight Restoration for a Bike from 1950 This old flashlight, probably from the 1950s, was produced by Trehawk, and doing some research, it appears that the company is very old and also produced flashlights used during WW2. The video flashlight is a model that can be used on the bike but also as a portable flashlight, since it uses a battery inside and not the dynamo of the bike to turn on. ...

Is this a reupload?
I have split the video into two parts because it was too long. This is the first part
Oh, I see. I hope you get lucky with the UA-cam algorithm. Your older videos did pretty well. How long did those take to get views? @@Ego.Reficio
Hello
Ma ti fidi a girare senza targhe?
Nice to see an Alfa being rescued. Honest question, this car needs a lot of repair and attention so what you fixed, to my understanding, was just to be able to drive it. But pretty much everything will need revisiting. So why do just about what’s necessary and not a full overhaul, since you can’t use the car in this state anyway.
Where the conditioner?? 🥺🥺
I ❤ Alfa Romeo. A Wonderful Brand from an amazing country that has given the world so much ❤
quel motore sta girando a 3 pistoni
It' s a unrecovered rotten RUIN for scrap otherwise the expenses are neccesary to be rubuilded in an acceptable situation are exceedind the cost of getting a good used car 10 years old like an Giulietta T-Jet multi-air
This was absolutely the most charming restoration video I've ever watched. Great technical, and a poignant backstory.. Excellent.
What happens at 24:29?
Lo vuoi un consiglio? Buttala..! 🇮🇹
Bravissimo!
I thought it was the Fiat 1100 that was taken for a test drive. 🚗 💾 🚗
I remember as a teen salivating over a 1.7i someone had in my town. Nowadays my daily hack is a dog eared high mileage 147. Fabulous on the road, i can't find a modern fwd with the same feeling. I'd better get a good example while they are still around.
This roadster was manufactured in 1994!
F/I/A/T 1100 R LOVE IT
I bought a new 850 Sport Coupe in Germany while stationed there in 1972; my father had 500, 600, and 850 in Washington State of the US, and I had a 600 before my US Army time in (West) Germany. Unfortunately, the 850 ate two engines (I blame the oil pump layout in the 850 engine), and I sold it before going back to the US, taking a Mercedes 319 bus back to the US instead (the 850 would have been a better choice). I sold the 319 to a ski bum and bought a 124 Sport Coupe instead.
Hello what is the name of the cleaning solution?
Hi, i used a soap that is used to clean saddles, it's called 'Fiebing's Saddle Soap.' You wet the brush with water and activate the soap. I also used it in another video here on the channel where I cleaned the leather of a portable radio
Thank you!
Seeing it again made you relive good memories!
Sing like a bird..
Thank you! If I ever come across one of those cars to get running, I will definitely do it!
The fact is that you did an excellent job. I believe that the cut battery cables were done by firefighters. The car had power problems and was a fire risk. That's why it was
The cables were cut because, where the car is located, there have already been small copper thefts. I didn't know while I was shooting the video that they had cut those cables. Fortunately, they only cut those parts and not other wires like those of the control unit, otherwise, it would have been more complicated to reconnect everything
Now a valve needs to be fixed because it's running on three spark plugs and I think the piston has also gone, and the shock absorbers and the power steering need to be replaced.
During engine startup, I hadn't realized that the oil hadn't reached the hydraulic lifters yet, which is why that noise could be heard. But then it went away, and the engine started running smoothly
ANOTHER TURD POLISHED
Marvelous job. Keep up 👍🏻
Thank you!
Coś pięknego, stara dobra motoryzacja

NOW how satisfying it is watching this video, After a day of work, Sipping a Bailey's on my sofa whilst outside, BERGEN -Norway there is a thunderstorm...; Really enjoyed n' GREAT job lads" The Vintage Vespa Piaggio scooter? In the video? A velvety touch of CLASS, Spot On. Alfa Romeo cars , Unfortunately have never been that popular here in Norway - Think there was/is a Stigma attached to them like" They Rust, And pathetic on the electric side, But Great engine, Sporty nice design, But rot easily" especially if living seaside town and snow...Now just 32 years old, I like Alfa's " Never drove one", Especially the ALFA THEMA" Ferrari" - Alfa's like Marmite " Either You ❤ It" The Alfisti..., Will buy , ❤ N' drive only Alfa Romeo, Or like most Norwegians, Hate it" Designed by "Pininfarina, What a car 40 yrs. Old, The Alfa 164, Looks superb. Great Big job there in the Video, Hats off N Respects🇸🇯🐺
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and that you noticed and appreciated the Vespa part. From the way you described the moment you watched the video, I imagined a true moment of relaxation just for yourself. I have to admit, I envied you! As for the Alfas, those from the 90s were a bit problematic, but it must be said that they still retained their originality with their design and driving fun

Ah you wouldn't believe how many of these cars are still on roads of the ex-USSR countries. I even had one myself. Almost every boy's first car here is a FIAT 124 named LADA Classic here. No matter what Lada Classic it is, they are all originated from the FIAT. Thanks for the video!
Do these types of cars still circulate in your country? Thank you for watching the video!
I love this car! It was my first One! ❤ 🇮🇹 Thank you!
At the time of purchase, Fiat also gave away a sack full of rust to be used at will on the bodywork. I was in an old Fiat and when it rained, water would come in from under the carpet.
Very good job :)) Please tell me what these spark plug spacers were used for? The spark plug was screwed into these spacers to increase the volume of the combustion chamber and change the compression ratio to a lower one? Regards . Adam from Poland
Hi Adam, Thank you! These spacers are used to prevent oil from reaching the spark plug and damaging the spark. They were used on high-mileage engines where oil would easily rise through the cylinders and end up in the combustion chamber
@Ego.Reficio Thank you very much for your answer. This is a very radical solution, i.e. it is a separator from the oil mist that accumulates on the spark plug. I think I'd rather repair the engine :)))
You're welcome! Repairing the engine is definitely the best solution, but it’s still an expensive option and takes time. For this reason, these were also used to delay the work 😄
