YOU can actually inject it yourself, no problems ,however very bad to inhale,wear mask, it’s like microscopic glass. Hard shelled insects die from it. Ie beetles , also kill LADY BUGS, CARFUL WITH IT. it’s not toxic.

I thought DE couldn't get wet? But, if it doesn't dissolve, I imagine it wouldn't matter. Else, how could it be effective for internal parasites?

I wish I could lay on the ground in my garden, I'm in SW Michigan on the IN border the Ticks are so bad here I usually have to pull them off me after I go into the garden, just checking the tomatoes for suckers and looking under the Zucchini leaves one gets on my clothes 😢 . I'm going to treat the entire garden with DE and some other things hopefully to thin this issue out, they are probably from all the Deer, Raccoon, Coyotes etc running around here.they can't get in the garden because of the Electric Fence I have around it. At least they haven't gotten past it yet. Fingers crossed the Deer don't jump in when the corn is closer to harvest.

If inhaled, DE can irritate the nose and lungs causing coughing and shortness of breath. On skin or in the eyes, it can cause irritation and dryness. Wear a mask and eye protection!

I’ve heard that you can take sheep wool and place it around the root of the plant to get rid of flea beetles. I understand the wool is like a net to capture the beetle (and other insects). Do you think this is correct?

Well explained, but one remark though: why would you use molasses? Those mainly stimulate bacterial life, which already dominates the majority of soils. Wouldn't it be better to use fungal feeds instead? Fungi are the best allies of perinnials and also help sequester carbon in the soil. If the fungi were restored in the soil then the soils are back in balance. Which would be helping the plants, the surroundings and make the soil more aerobic once more.

I'm pretty new to gardening, specificaly indoor, and i have a question. If i use properly brewed worm tea once a week and add high quality worm compost from time to time, will i nned to use some kind of fertilizer to grow nice and tasty vegetables ? Thanks for very usefull video 😉

While I'm always interested in the theories behind various gardening practices, I'm more interested in the results. That is, does a particular practice give me noticeable results as compared to my simple practice of applying compost only to my garden beds. This worm tea concept looks intriguing and I'm wondering if you have done any field trials that show significant improvements by its implementation. That is, using healthy garden soil, growing identical crops, in the same season and applying worm tea to one section and not the other? Thanks for the video.

This is a good vid, but it makes me wonder what the digested sugars become when consumed. As example in brewing, yeast eat sugars and their waste is alcohol.

Can you combine tubed irrigation and ollas so that the olla fills on a timed schedule?

Salmonella, Vibrio cholera, E. Coli, Tetanus, Klebsiella, Staphylococcus, cryptosporidium, Streptococcus,Tuberculosis, any of these sound familiar? Using compost tea techniques is how you incubate them. Good luck!

never seen the spray method with DE. gonna try that out! i've gotten a swarm of weird pests here in GA. attacking even rosemary (wth!) - stripping leaves but now also.... scale? i just want my plants to be happy. and also to be able to grow some food items.

i liked that opening music, but it's really distracting during the video itself. competes with your voice and actually covers you quite a bit.
