As someone who lives mountain climbing and lives in Minnesota is such a pain that I have to go multiple states over to reach the Rockies. I gotta move to the west someday.

A friend of mine just handed me this camera he had, but he had no instruction on how to use this trail cam. Can it still be used as just a stand alone trail cam without the cell plan. Will it still take pics that I can view later

Great review! I have 2 of these in the woods now with solar panels! They have been fantastic!! The plan cost are great and I love the fact videos count the same as pictures in your data plan. Also the hd request plans are very reasonable and hardly need to use it as the videos are very good in the standard resolution.

Does it record sound?

Soak in hot water for 1/2 hr remove label with razor blade scraper and a SOS pad for glue. The SOS works great. I have been doing that for years. The soap in the SOS pad works great.

I use 350°F for 10-15 min. Labels PEEL right off(do NOT scrape, makes a huge mess). Then use mineral spirits for adhesive removal followed by acetone to cut the oils of the mineral spirits. Wash your bottles as required before bottling. Works flawlessly, every time. The suggestion of 200° is nowhere hot enough to release the label from the adhesive.

so you must know which glue is used before choosing the method

in Denmark, where I come from, the breweries know very well that the glue they use must be easily dissolved in the rinsing machines they use to wash the bottles. so the different manufacturers clearly use different types of glue. small manufacturers sometimes use stickers that cannot be removed without solvents.

I was looking into what I would need to start my first time homebrewing mead and could only find information about Starsan. Which is way out of the budget for starting and seeing if it's something I would like to go further with. So this video was extremely helpful!

Have you ever tried to make some mead? There are some really interesting things you can brew with honey as the fermentable sugar. I made some with black berry and rose hips, it is 13% alcohol and back sweetened with wild flower honey.

Thank you! I just got one, and you answered a bunch of questions I had that the very limited instructions did not answer. Especially about being able to use the camera without a cellular subscription... no where in my instructions does it say that is possible. I like the camera, but the instructions are remarkably not informative.

To get the glue off I use equal parts baking soda and vegetable oil, let sit for 30 mins and wash off with water and dawn. Easy

Hey, thanks for the thorough review. I was curious if you had an exact measurement on the inside. I was looking to get one of these for my skis, since I believe it will be wide enough to fit my boots as well. My skis are 178, and they make a 175. I wasn't sure how firm of a 175 that was. (I see yours is a 165, just thought if there was a few extra inches in there...)
