To be honest, I was expecting there to be a lot more than just 8 species of bear. They just seem so ubiquitous, that I would have assumed there was a lot of diversity out of necessity.

man, I cant stand forrest, and I've seen enough of his stuff to have a real opinion. Watch his myanmar croc story video(he posted) and you'll see his habit of taking advantage of locals to exploit for content. ALso he's a terrible biologist both in lack of actual knowledge and his beliefs/practices are far from actual conservation first, but rather fame and glory first and animals 2nd.

there was a pair of black swans in a small lake where I live in Europe. nobody cared about them because all their kids died all of the time somewhere nobody knows. but they looked beautiful together and where aggressive when they had eggs which is why nobody came close until ideoticall teens attacked the Swans. It even was in the newspaper. No buddy knows where they went.

Wow! This video completely blew my mind. I just watched it today, and I can’t stop thinking about it… I’m not sure what it is exactly-maybe it’s the way you present everything so engagingly. I almost never leave comments, but I just couldn’t resist this time. It’s 4 a.m., and I’m still lying awake because of this Washington’s Sea Eagle-it won’t let me sleep! As an illustrator and a huge fan of Audubon, I’ve seen that eagle illustration before but never really paid much attention to it. You’ve genuinely changed something in me today. I know it sounds a little odd, but discovering your channel has been such an exciting experience-I’m instantly in love with it. I’d love to see more mystery-themed videos about animals, but honestly, this particular one really got to me. It’s still on my mind, and I can’t shake it. Amazing work!

Great video well explained, but the zebra and garrafa to me is just one species.if they can interbreed, like how all tigers are the same species, just by having different color patterns is not enough to be classified as different species😊

I'm an Aussie, as soon as I i saw the 'scottish big cat' photo in the title card I thought it was a kangaroo. Showed it to my family, saying simply that it was taken in Scotland and is suspected to be a big cat. Every single person said something along the lines of 'looks like a kangaroo' or 'how did that get there' (i.e. obviously a Kangaroo). It's a kangaroo or wallaby for sure, almost certainly the rednecked wallaby (though i have been given to understand that sometimes people in the UK keep kangaroos/wallabies as pets, and it could be an escaped pet of a different species. I'm not knowledgeable enough to be able to tell more than the main species apart at a glance).

Such a great topic for a video!! I’ve seen ostriches, emus, and rheas in person, but not any species of cassowary, I had no idea the southern cassowary was so large! Also, I believe you actually put a picture of a king penguin instead of an emperor during that segment, around 11:30

Dude, there is so many invertebrate examples you missed. House centipedes, silverfish, bedbugs, horseflies, tarantulas, mantis shrimp, hornets, tapeworms, ticks, and several others. A lot of what people think are "species" of invertebrates are actuality taxa with dozens or hundreds or thousands of species. Why dont I list some more. Scorpions, camel spiders, cockroaches, termites, ladybugs, fireflies, aphids. Much more modest examples is horseshoe crabs and dust mites.

Je-ZUS PEOPLE!!! GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS, ITS NOT A HAT!!! The hippos should have been killed when there was 4, its sad absolutly but THEY CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO ESTABLISH THEMSELFS. Hippos are one of THE BIGGEST KILLERS, one of the TOP 3 reasons for death in africa.... and you wanne have them there because....they cute? Yall insane, need to start using your brain. Also al that drama to save what was initially 4 to 16 hippos, but they are a invasive species... so your harming other animals for a couple that shouldny have even been there to begin with.

As an animal enthousiast and photography lover, I already knew most of that and photographed many species you listed, when they're in captivity not too far. Some zoo visits I do are to see new species. My favorites are felids, and for now, I've seen and photographed 28 out of 30 species in European zoos (all big cats in captivity in Europe, all 4 lynxes, many small cats). Still very interesting ! I also want to thank you for your pronounciation and way to speak, which is very good. I can understand all without subtitles. Many youtubers speak fast or do not pronounce well all the words and it may be complicated for non native speakers (I'm French).
