    05:35 my recomendation to you is ADA CIGANLIJA. You can go and sweem there every day. Is free. Water is not sea water but is clean, they using laste technologies to clean up the water so you can sweem in it. Is not cold and not hot. Besides water u have bunch bunch of cafees, tenis, football, voleyball, rugby and basketball .. how to say?, terrains, pitch?... Is very nice. Huge number of Belgrade residents going there to sweem and escape a city hotnes. Sorry because of awful English. Lot of roler drivers, joogers, painters, artist, people who likes active life.

      05:49 "Dorć(t+j)ol" is my favoritied part of the city. Some people do not like it because of lot of very old buildings. But Dorćol and Stari grad(Dorćol is a part of municipality of Stari grad-Old Town) and Vračar(also municipality in Belgrade) are two the oldest parts of Belgrade. Home to the oldest "Kafana" in Belgrade. Kafana for Serbia is the same as Tavern for Grreece. U probably know that, explanation for your chanel visitors. Home of oldest theatr in Belgrade, oldest this and oldest that. Home of the most of STARI BEOGRAĐANI(it means real old residents of Belgrade, 75+ years living there)... Sorry, i ma borring with my informations. Thanks.

      Hi, yes, I really want to go to Ada and take my mom too, but the thing is we usually only have a few hours, so it feels like the city pool is an easier (and closer) option. But we should definitely go to Ada at least once this season! Preferably multiple times Wow, I think I like Dorcol so much BECAUSE there are so many old buildings. Well, also because it's close to everything + there's Kalemegdan within the walking distance & the river bank

      @@iamkseniia Dorćol has special charm. Old communist buildings combined with old aristocratic buildings, both are not freshly colored, it looks even better for me + with lots of greenery beside the road. I really like that part of the city. Yes, the city center is less than 1km away.

      @@iamkseniia And one small proposal for Ada. Bring some drinks and food from home, because, prices of drinks and food in restaurants there are ultra mega high, skyrocketed in last couple years, because of ultra high attendance. Well, one long hooot summer is not a mere expression😂 I love summer in the city, I own a flat in Montenegro, my family is there all summer, but I prefer to stay in concrete jungle...Some pools, Ada, Lido, swimming, tanning, coffes, chit-chating during the day, and when the dusk arrives its all so cosy and lovely warm...nights are excellent, not so crowdy, yet super funny...

    Love your videos! Now I'm planning a trip to Belgrade in two weeks and wanted to ask you two questions: 1. Is there anyway I can join the running group for just one -two runs? Where can I find some info about them (you guys look so cool running!) 2. Are there any spots in the city to swim in the river (or maybe a lake somewhere not so far away)? Thank you so much for you content - you really made me fall in love with Belgrade and want to visit it.

    • @iamkseniia
      @iamkseniia 2 дні тому

      Hi! Thank you so much 🥰 Yes, everyone is welcome to join the runs, here's the Insta account: instagram.com/beg.belgrade/ All announcements there are in Eng + in Telegram group (also in Eng) - we have a more or less fixed schedule but some runs are cancelled, and some are moved because of the heat, so it's best to double-check the updates maybe a few hours before the planned run There are many places you can swim here, thank God lol! There's Ada that you can find on the map - sort of a lake with a beach and tons of restaurants. You can't swim very far there though (at least I've not seen a spot where you can) because people use boats there, so the swimming area is a bit limited. Then there are tons of open-air swimming pools, you can google "bazen" (= swimming pool), and you'll see all the options. The ones we go to now is in Tasmajdan park: tasmajdan.rs/en/outdoor-pool/ Our favourite city pool is closed cause of competitions, but should open on July 17/18: www.25maj.rs/

It is a city on southern coast of Brasil, very close to the argentinean border. Buenos Aires, wider city center, almost the same atomsphere like in belgrade, architecture also.

      Thank you 😊 I’m very happy about it too! The shoes on 2:21 are from Zara, they look surprisingly good in real life too! I know it’s good for Belgrade to have championships hosted here, but I am very sad about this pool being unavailable 😭

    Exactly, it's overthinking and anxiety with fear of being judged and insulted for a possible failure. I always think that I should not go to do something with others because others will be better than me and I will seem miserable to them and may let them down or make them worry about me, and they (some people) will be angry that I came and ruined something - their expected fun - for them. And then yes, I regret that I did nothing instead of trying to do some things.

    Ksenia did you visited any swimming pools yet ? When you asked about traveling I recommend you Trebinje in Bosnia ( they call this city serbian Toscana ) . Four or five days are enough to rest soul there . Best options are Airbnb on hilly suburbs with view on old rocky city center , its walkable city with strong Italian vibes mixed with austrian, turkish and old yugoslavian kingdom school architecture. Try to find some drone videos of that city , its drop dead gorgeous 😭

    05:50 SPINACH=SPANAĆ. Pron is the same as englsih, just exclude letter I and add letter A. SP - A - NAĆ. (Ć=T+J). 06:30 You should sue the local distribution if your water heater broke down during a power outage and you were not warned that there would be a power outage.

      Thank you! ☺️ Lol we’re never warned about power outage in our place! It always just happens 🥴 also, not sure if it’s the same for everyone or just us - but it’s super odd that electricity can be out for 30-40 minutes, like there’s no reserve generator or smth The boiler ended up working after my boyfriend did smth to it, so it’s all good now

      @@iamkseniia Usually, in biger cities and towns, electricity never off-s. In my village, at the summer, power outage is very common, minimum 10 times during summer, Reason is weather mostly. Bad weather, storm, domestic electtrodistribution likes to turn power off during storm. Im working from home as you and i need internet in continuity, but i must make a break if electricity goes off during work. Before my curent work, i worked in nearest town, Požarevac, 50 000 people. 3 years. Electricity never off there. Sorry, my english is awful, i hoe u understan me, i am lazy to use google translator.

      @@iamkseniia Reason for power outage in Belgrade is spontanious, unaplend, urbanisation of the city. Insted to quality of life of citizens be at frist place, at first place is money, city growth and money. Biger amount of skycrapers and apartments, biger amount of money for the city govermant and it members, their pockets.Budget of the city almost troubled in latest 10 years. On other city, city becaming more and more ugly, to mutch buildings on small surface, small amount of space.

      Local electro-distribution simple can not support amount of new apartments in the city.

      @hypatiatv421 Місяць тому

      At all Belgrade wasnt pretty city before urbanisation, is not such a white city like it name says. But, unplaned skycrapers will make it uglier then it is before. In my opinion, actually, inside the city. I mean, streets, greenery, bunch bunch of exotic clubs, bars stores makes it nice, inside. But, outside looking, isnt so nice.

    0:49 BELGRADE BEER FEST, BELGRADE 20.6. - 23.6. The best beer fest in Serbia. EXIT festival, NOVI SAD 10.7 - 14.7. 2nd the best music festival in Europe by people votings and 2nd the bigest by number of visitors. U probably know everything about EXIT. FULL recomendation. GUCA TRUMPET FESTIVAL 2024, LUČANI/GUČA 2.8 - 4.8. Самый популярный фестиваль среди сербов. Гуча - село в самом центре Сербии, примерно в 150-200 км от Белграда. Если вы поклонник звука трубы, оригинальной сербской народной музыки, сербской цыганской музыки с юга Сербии, народного фольклора, а также джаза, поп-музыки и рок-музыки в исполнении народных трубных оркестров, то ГУЧА - подходящее место для ты. Много сербского национализма, доза китча, много сербской цыганской музыки с юга Сербии, сербская еда в изобилии, много алкоголя и пьяных людей, Много людей со всей Европы, полно иностранцев. Bсеобщее безумие. В Сербии идет тихая война между EXIT и GUČA. ЕЏИТ=современный, ГУЧА=традиционный. Мне нравятся оба, хотя мне многое в обоих не нравится. Традиционно лучшими трубачами Сербии являются Или из южной Сербии, в основном цыганские оркестры или с запада Сербии, в основном мелос западной Сербии, иногда поп-музыка. The most popular festival among Serbs. Guca is a village in the very center of Serbia, about 150-200 km from Belgrade. If you are a fan of trumpet sound, original Serbian folk music, Serbian gypsy music from the south of Serbia, folk folklore, as well as jazz, pop music and rock music performed by folk trumpet orchestras, then GUCHA - the right place for you. A huge number of Russians. Lots of Serbian nationalism, a dose of kitsch, a lot of Serbian gypsy music from the south of Serbia, Serbian food in abundance, lots of alcohol and drunk people, Lots of people from all over Europe, full of foreigners. General madness. There is a quiet war going on in Serbia between EXIT and GUČA. EIIT=modern, GUCHA=traditional. I like both, although I don't like much about both. Traditionally, the best trumpet players in Serbia are the Ili from southern Serbia, mainly gypsy orchestras or from western Serbia, mostly melos of western Serbia, sometimes pop music. NIŠVILLE JAZZ festival, NIŠ 9.8. - 18.8. the best Jazz festival in Serbia
