Hey man I’ve got a big blue 400 eco pro with the Mitsubishi. I think the machine is a 2012. Been running it for a few years and never had any issues. Now it will spin over and not start. It’s been a few weeks since I ran the machine and this started this morning. If I feed 12 hot to the fuel shut off solenoid on the mechanical pump it will crank and run wide open instantly. So I unhook the power immediately to shut it off. So what I can tell my issue is in that circuit somewhere. Any pointers?

Hi I bought a 225 miller welder and it starts and runs perfect but there’s a fuse behind the panel and I believe it’s a 10 amp fuse, so I can put a new fuse in and as soon as I start it blows the fuse everytime, do you have idea what would cause that?

Hello my friend, I just bought a Miller Bobcat 225 that I have no idea what is wrong with it. I probably have to rebuild the engine and go over everything to see what is wrong. My guess without even trying to start it is the alternator/generator part. It is definitely toured out but I plan on restoring it and using it eventually....

if you get a miller trailblazer pro 350 diesel in your shop .i have one that is putting out 89v out of the 120v .and 150v coming out of the 240v .trying to find out where my problem is. thank you

I would like to know the same thing .I had are trailblazer 350 with power out of the 120 /getting 86V. and out of the 240 /getting 150v. I took it to jones shop here in north central Florida and they said they cant fix it the part they cant find. And i called miller and they did not give me any info on anything and said we don't make the parts anymore or service them. Thank you very much

Hey just wanted to say thank you for this video! We had an issue with mud daubers. Fired it up and it over-reved. Cleaned it out but then had about half power. Watched this video checked circuits and that fuse and replaced the fuse and wa la. Working now! Thank you! Able to get our job done now!

Hello, so when you test the exciter armature it includes the larger copper surface inside the stater. In other words, just testing the end of the armature should tell you the condition of the entire unit?? or is there a separate test for the larger copper surface that seats inside the Stator.

Thanks for the video, very informative, if the starter keeps staying engaged after it’s fired up it’s likely gonna be the diode you pointed out. If the diode stays bad it’s gonna cases your fuses to go out as well. I’m fixing mine up it’s identical to this one. New fuses and diode should get it fixed

I have a gasoline Bobcat 250 Miller with a SUBARU engine, I am using it as an electric generator, after leaving it on for about 1 hour and a half, the generator had a stability fault in the engine, then it turned off and it doesn't want to do anything, it doesn't want to give switch nor does it want to give battery signal on the control panel, there is absolutely no power, what could be the cause of the problem? apparently the fuse shows continuity

My miller 225 high idles and then low idles without striking an arc. Any ideas on what I can check? I’m thinking the idle solenoid but don’t want to tear into anything without some advice. Thanks!

I have a Lincoln welder wp225g7 i have 110 v no weld no ark

well...miller said i should have 17 ohms from brush to brush... i have 0 ohms, even with the new 1 and when its on, it has 3 ohms...i dont think even they know what they are talking about... maybe i should just trash this thing 😡

just got a new brush assembly kit... still no a/c voltage...i have 17 ohms from slip ring to slip ring.... i have 12v to the brushes... breakers and fuses good... anything anyone can suggest ???

I have this same machine.. mine seems like it’s super high rev like 24/7 everything works fine though welds great but it’s just loud as hell and doesn’t idle.

I found this very informative video after my vantage 300 stopped producing power. I ran all the checks you mentioned. Unfortunately i had no luck in finding the problem. What i did find is that at the bridge rectifier where the 200 wire connects, if i disconnected the wire to the filter capacitor that piggybacks this connection i get 12vdc. Once reconnected i only get a millivolt reading. The capacitor doea not show any voltage across the terminals nor does it read anything in microfarads when tested. Do you think it could be the capacitor. I replaced it with one off eBay and still the same. Maybe the ebay one us faulty also????

Have a 400 Pro that won't weld. There is 110v at the outlets and only 30v DC at the welding terminals. What could be the reason as to why it won't weld?
