No brainer. Buy the cheap stuff.
Where is Jolly Time (American Popcorn Company) from Sioux City, Iowa?😊. Grown right around Sioux City!
Monsanto is in charge of putting the seasoning...😂😂😂
I'll buy any popcorn that doesn't crack my teeth when chewing it. Too much of it is hard as a rock inside and I've lost 2 teeth to friggin' popcorn. Vertical fractures.
Thank verry much I wishe to a good dereas
I think Amish costs a lot more because you are ordering from Canada, it's imported after manufacturing, so they are at a considerable disadvantage. As for the Orville being the same as the others, I think it used to be different but now the others have changed their varieties to have something similar. So your conclusion is valid, go with the cheaper price per gram! I am lazy and get the gallons of Orville from Costco, it's more expensive than buying a 50 pound bag from HTD Canada, but I don't have to find space for 50 pounds of popcorn!
QUESTION, How long is Shelf Life?
any popcorn. As long as it is cooked in a whirley pop with coconut oil and flavacol. the cheaper the popcorn the better
I'd probably be inside all the time, but the problem is i dont have much to do with my time. So I'd probably end up bored and go out. So my only hope would be if restaurants had replicators as well. Therefore, pubs and restaurants would simply be a place to go, rather than a use of convenience
Such a huge part of my childhood ❤
Thanks for the Video. I am gonna make it soon :)
I watch this video when I have had too much excitement for the day. ..Tastes like popcorn 😂
Amish County has a lot of different varieties available, that's where they shine. I recommend giving them another try. If you try the standard yellow or white it's going to be the same as anywhere else. My favorite so far is the extra large caramel type. They also have hulless available as well in other varieties which is awesome for people that hate the hulls . "For me", they win when it comes to variety to best suit my personal taste AND supporting the smaller guy even though I'm sure they're huge. Also, once you settle in on a variety you like the price gets significantly cheaper the bigger the bag you buy.
I can understand that they don’t want to promote unhealthy eating towards kids, but odd how they brought back other McDonald’s Land characters for Grimace’s birthday or the adult happy meals, but no Ronald.
Hi. I:m grateful for all the information you:ve gathered for us. The comparisons of different brands is helpful too. Cvould you teach us about the different kinds of popcorn? I think this pesentation focus was yellow popcorn. But i know there is white popcorn too. I don't know if there are any other types. Do you know?
I used to be an automation tech at a food factory. They packaged their own brand about 7 name brands, supermarket brands even generic brands and some stuff for McDonalds. When I shop now after I worked in the world's largest freezer plant I figure the store brand is the exact same product as the name brand next to it. The food came out of the same ovens, machines, and bins they just changed the label.
Electronics is the same way. We manufactured a couple of different brands, the same exact components just different brand labels.
Amish country hulless white will change your life.
I think a whirlypop helps a lot. I usually buy a bag of white and one of yellow and hopefully you get at least one if not both really good popcorn. Some crops are just better than others. You might get a great brand one yr and that brand might not be so good next year.
It's sad Ronald disappeared from the Mickey D's commercials. He was cool & I sure do miss seeing him. The Burger King mascot on the other hand, that king is creepy.
I bought a popcorn maker a few days ago and I don't know why my popcorn comes out chewy
But where’s rice and quinoa miz . That’s like the best part and the crispy onions too
Well has anyone heard of the ‘Woke’ and stereotyping?! Socially now is 🤡👎go home🎉
No comparison between OR and Amish, the O R is less tender than the Amish, and the Amish is Huless,,,,
Best popcorn is Trader's Joes.
I just got back from Canada and LOVED the wraps! I'm so glad you made this video. I can't wait to try your recipe!
She was so serious until the end. Nice to see her smile. :-)
Yeah, I am a vegetarian and it is hard. Once I discovered these, I fell in love them instantly.
Excellent video! Love your analysis and good job on calculating cost vs weight of each. I use the no-name brand because it is cheap. Three Canadian dollars versus the Orville which is six dollars for a smaller amount. I put a third of a cup of kernels in a paper bag and microwave it for two minutes. I get the best fluffy, crunchy, popcorn, and best of all it is healthy with no added salts and fat. Most of the time all my kernels are popped. It makes a wonderful, cheap snack and I don’t think I would change brands even though it’s not perfect or gourmet. Thanks again for this great video. Cheers from Yellowknife Northwest Territories 😊
Thanks for the comment, BusyBeeee! I appreciate it. I’m going to try your paper bag suggestion..
WHO CARES ABOUT PRICING IT'S POPCORN I CAN TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IS THE BEST I HAVE TRIED A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT KINDS AND THE BEST OF THE BEST I HAVE FOUND IS THE ORVILLE REDENBACHER MOVIE THEATER BUTTER IN THE THEATRE STYLE BUCKET
That was scientific
The best popcorn is from Amish Country the red kernels. THE BEST! 😊
You are really great guys lots of love from Pakistan 💐❤
do the 4 brands have the same light and fluffy texture without chewiness of the popcorn at cinema?
The Amish popcorn is more expensive because it's non-GMO !
Does anyone remember T.V. Time popcorn?
The sexual energy between these 2 is absolutely explosive, honestly a little distracting
Popcorn tastes blah without salt and butter. Also, it tastes best hot, so one should not let it sit for a long time while one looks at the shape of the kernels and other unimportant things.
No Jolly Time? By the way Amish Country is being fake for using the word Amish in their name.
Serving the Lord is gonna make me chose that brand
Amish Country !!!!
Fun fact. Every time I pop popcorn, I don't shake it at all. I put it on high and when the popping slows down I take it off the heat and it's NEVER burned.
idk if i just love JP to much or if its that iconic of a scene, but I can tell they watching the Jurassic Park "T-rex escape" scene lol
lol! That’s impressive! You are correct..
If I can come up with a popcorn variety I would be interested to try and create an integration of the Japonica corn so that the hall is even less noticeable
Yet the hamburgers are exactly the same
I’ve been making some Disney documentaries on UA-cam @themeparkforge, similar to yours and I got to say I’m surprised this video hasn’t gotten more views! It’s great!
ill stick with orville. but when ever i can get fresh made street fair kettle korn, thats 10/10
He choked to death after getting fed a Whopper.
The Clown who was a King! Overthrown in 2016.
The one brand I wouldn't recommend is Farmer Jon's. I bought it on QVC and besides a large number of unpopped there was an incredible amount of shattered hulls.
