Question I past all my exams- they sent me a email saying I’m tentatively eligible for the series/grade combination based on your self- rating of your qualifications and that I been referred to the hiring manager to the air port that I applied for. .. what does that mean ?
Hi there I’m 47 you think I’ve a shot, former law enforcement officer and I’m thinking to apply. Is it hard process to get through? Thank you in advanced
Very easy process, no age restrictions, you be fine
I've been ready pool for month worried not going to get hired in year. does everyone eventually get called within year?
At a large airport, yes. If you applied to a small place like Omaha, you may or may not make it.
What if I have a 4 year degree in criminal justice and homeland security will I still come in as a D band for TSO
Yes you will, TSA doesn’t give credit college degrees.
Is there like fitness testing on FLECT weeks ? Like running and navy like training ?
You will do none of that. Literally go to class, eat, take tests, and exist.
@@theTSAguythank you ! I thought it was like CBP
Just took my CBT exam yesterday, pretty sure I did well on the first two parts, the last section with the 2D/3D shapes messed me up. Not sure I'll pass or not 😭
I’m sure you passed
Does the Candidate Dashboard still exist? Or do they do something else? The only thing I have is the USAjobs telling me "application package status: Selected"
It “exists”…. it’s been down for “maintenance” for a while. You’ll get updates from HR when they need you to do something. Don’t worry about the dashboard
It “exists”…. it’s been down for “maintenance” for a while. You’ll get updates from HR when they need you to do something. Don’t worry about the dashboard
Cool, thank you for the heads up. It’s just that it would be nice to know where I stand in the grand scheme of the process rather than being in the dark if my background has been adjudicated or in the ready pool.
Don’t dwell on the dashboard, that’s just a graphic representation of your progress in the application process. You already know the steps you have to complete. HR will let you know when you hit ready pool and get a final offer. The USAjobs status just means you’ve been selected to con in the process after you accepted your conditional offer.
GREAT EXAMPLES AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND THE DETAILS.
Happy to help, good luck!
Is employment declined if you have collections or low credit score?
No, just keep your bills paid and a record of each payment. They are more worried about gambling debts, delinquencies $7500 and over, and charge-offs because that shows financial irresponsibility and makes you a liability.
Don’t they send you for training in Georgia
It changed, you’re now sent to any FLETC location that has an available training spot
Somehow, I passed the cbt test. But no one gave me a score. Is there a way to know how I did? I really appreciate your channel. It's really helpful!
Congrats! Doesn’t matter what the scare is, as long as you passed. You’ll move to the next parts of the process automatically.
I sent you a email
I just saw it and responded. I don’t use that email address anymore.
I am thinking about doing it. I have a disability. I think it would be a fun job. I have a disability what I heard is they will help us out with it. Make sure we get on every step? Do you did you get on? Is it worth it?
You’ll be fine, just apply.
Awesome information! Thank you. ❤ Now that I have my secret clearance, is it possible I could lose my secret clearance if I fail to get my top Secret Clearance.
You don’t lose it, you just get upgraded.
@theTSAguy Thank you. I understand. I have my Secret Clearance already and received an offer for a position that requires a Top Secret Clearance. If I fail to get through the investigation as expected, would I lose my slSecret Clearance?
I wouldn't want to apply for a TSC and end up losing my SC all because I couldn't get my TSC.
@@r9153 No you're not understanding. You don't "lose" your clearance. It's either upgraded or downgraded based on what your job requires. You can have a clearance with multiple agencies but they will remain suspended if you're not actively using it. Those in the military reserves have a TSC/CI because they have intel jobs. Some of them also have civilian Federal jobs with lower clearances. All clearances stay active as long they are being used. You don't simply lose one clearance because you applied for another.
Can my husband come visit me?
He can come visit but he’ll need to wait at the front gate for you to come out. He won’t be allowed on the campus. You can hang out in town and he’ll have to drop you off at the gate again.
I’m a girl , that small suitcase would be just for my accessories lol
Don’t bring anything you don’t need. TSA won’t pay the baggage fees, your uniforms will be issued, only need one pair of shoes, and you’re not going clubbing after work.
I second your love for Elijah Cummings ❤
Yea he was pretty chill. He knew his greatness but never rubbed it in people’s face. All he wanted to do was go to work and fly home. Never saw himself as any more special.
How many hours is part-time
25 hours. Might lucky during the holidays and pick up extra hours or shifts
Thanks for all your help I passed the tsa test now waiting for the next steps👏🏻👏🏻
Congrats, happy to help!
"Excuses are tools of the incompetence." Well, that's a lesson. Don't live your life making excuses find solutions. I appreciate that! I have donated plasma in the past too. You have to do what you have to do. I so appreciate you sharing your journey. I am on my way to becoming a TSO. I took the test and passed and was offered a tentative position in less than 24 hours. I just started another job I started that will bring income during the vetting process. I too plan to use it as a stepping stone. So glad I found your channel. I have subscribed.
Appreciate the support. Congrats and good luck!
thank you
thank you
I just passed the exam thank you so much!!
Happy to help, congrats!
Did you get a score? I passed, but I didn't get a score.
Thank for the info!
Happy to help
Only thing i smoke marijuana, so i might fail the drug test.. smh
So don’t apply for any federal jobs till all of it is out of your system. You can buy a drug test from Walgreens. Then don’t do it again and just be honest with the investigator.
I have my test scheduled for December 26th! This is my first time taking the test and I have only done a few days of practice, but I am really nervous about the 2D-3D part of the new test? Is all the questions on that section multiple choice, or are they all type-in questions? I'm really nervous about taking it because even after watching the video, it helped a little bit, but can I also do ok on the other sections? Would appreciate the feedback on my questions on the 2D-3D sections to help with the nervousness!
Relax man, don’t stress over all the stories you’ve been hearing. Most likely you’ll pass. The 2D-3D will be hardest part, the other 2 will be easy. If you need more help there’s a in affiliate link to software in my description box.
@ thank you for your response back! How many questions usually is on the new CBT Test and is the 2-D-3D question on the text all multiple choice ?
All federal exams are multiple choice, unless it’s something more technical requiring expert knowledge that can’t easily be taught. TSA does not have any jobs like that. As far as the rest of the exam, I don’t know how many questions are on it because I did not take the test. I’m simply teaching universal the principles and concepts that do not change.
@@theTSAguy I got my results back and I passed it! Your content and advice were helpful, so thank you all for all your help and support! Now, just waiting on the next steps and a long process!
Congrats, happy to help
Finally got the call. The process took about 8 months
lol congrats and good luck
I passed the assessment interview my medical is in 5 days.. I have about 1000 in delinquent debt from a hospital bill could that hurt me?
Going to my airport assessment tomorrow. What kind of interview questions do they ask ?
Watch my videos on interviewing. For additional help there’s a link in the declaration box to my interview guide that you can download
Studying this video for a job interview soon for TSO. All these positive reviews are giving me hope.
If you need an interview guide with real world practice questions there’s a link in the description box or you can email me for the link. Good luck -and congrats in advance!
@@theTSAguy Came back to say that it's been great so far! I made it past the interview and medical examination. Waiting for more news!
When doing training in georgia, is there a fitness test that trainees have to pass in order to pass?
No fitness test.
@theTSAguy dude, thank you for letting me know. I've passed my CBT, online background check. Awaiting for my other steps.
Congrats and good luck on the rest!
after your in ready pool. does the phone call caller id show up as TSA or what city does it say on the phone call?
It’ll usually say “federal government.” That’s the generic identifier.
Taken my test today and passed
Congrats!
@@theTSAguy thank you
How do i apply
Im interested in TSA security guard officer i have certain certificate
What kind of shoes do you like for this job. And ones that you should avoid. Thanks.
They need to be all black. Most subscribers buy Skechers
I'm trying to see how is that a phone at the bottom left corner
We passed!!! That means you were apart of my success! Especially emphasising on not overthinking.. aka just chill❤
Congrats, happy to help!
Thank you🙂
Bro buffering every other word hard to pay attention
It’s my stutter
Are the 2d/3d questions multiple choice? And how many minutes do they give you to complete the exam?
It will be multiple choice. New test is about 40mins. Most people finish it in 20mins
I haven’t heard about my interview results yet, but I got two emails for background check and medical check. Is that good? I did my interview virtually
Keep going until you’re told otherwise. No news is good news.
Are the dorm rooms coed?
Are the dorm rooms coed?
Apt style dorms. The building is coed but the rooms are not. I will warn you from getting to close to the opposite gender while at FLETC, it’s a good way to get in trouble.
I am at the step were I did E-86 and waiting it's been about 14 days not but I have not had and airport assessment but I have not received my travel number. What's is your guess on what's going on
It’s a slow process, nothing out of the ordinary. My process took 22 months.
I actually did mine. First 2 assessment was easy but 2-3D folding was a bit confusing with a lot of letters and numbers on the same side when folding.
i just passed my exam today . thank you if it wasn’t for you i wouldn’t have been prepared
Happy to help. Congrats!
FOR 2024 PEOPLE :) I applied to a tso position at my local airport on 10/12/24. On that same day I received my email for my proctored assesment. I made my appointment and completed my test on 10/21/24 i received notification of passing on 10/23/24. The same day i completed my forms. On 11/8/24 i got a call to complete a airport assesment/interview. I go this coming up wednesday. Ill be sure to update
