Can you do this by just loosening the camshaft clips and leaving the phaser attached? Just get the camshaft high enough to pull the rockers out?

Any tricks to avoid breaking the fuel rail psi sensor?

Good video. That fuel rail psi sensor makes me nervous. Think I’m gonna do my tune and exhaust swap to 5” 1st and just unplug all the EGR stuff. Then another day I’ll do my Monster Ram and actually remove all the EGR stuff like you did. Anything special needed to avoid breaking the fuel sensor pressure switch ?

For batteries, make sure the batteries in the equipment is the same as whats being ordered. We had a case where the equipment had red top optimas, and they ordered Hawkers, which as of today are recoverable, they change with the wind.

I am very curious to hear how well it performs when it is cold in the winter. I disconnected my grid heater at the battery. I live in Canada in summer and Arizona in winter, so I have not needed any kind of intake air heat since I disconnected the factory grid heater. As far as I know, the dirty exhaust from the EGR comes past the grid heater. I am wondering if since the grid no longer gets heated, it will build up more soot on the fins and start to restrict the air intake. I am in Arizona now in my RV and am just a few hour drive from Bank's in California. Still on the fence.
