This just popped up on my page and its cool to see someone compare the two. In my opinion, I hate to consider the fact that Tokyo revengers was bought out by Disney after the 2nd season making it spiral down hill... Also Draken's main voice actor having Cheating accusations leading to him getting fired and having a new VA for the new Draken seasons. Tokyo revengers will always have my heart but GOD DAYUM shit is going downhill... Its nice to get a breath of fresh air with Windbreaker.

i think the person who made wind breaker was inspired by Tokyo revengers so they are kinda similar and both have to do with high school gangs they are pretty similar ofc they are not the same

tokyo revengers is like tragic and sad. its also a serious anime. they have an antagonist and all and people die and stuff like that but windbreaker is not like that. i dont know why people even compare them

I love the full in-depth analysis!! I would say that Tokyo Revengers plot line could be more comparable to Erased & Summertime Rendering. However, the aspect of delinquents can bring both the anime’s into the same realm. Tokyo Revengers may be on the heavy side of gangs with violence and darkness, but Windbreaker is more of a heroic storyline. Now if windbreaker starts to exhibit more violence and loss, it might carry a just similarity. Now it has been found that the author of windbreaker was inspired by the author of Tokyo Revengers.

I loved apothecary diaries the most because of how human maomao is sometimes, she has a well developed character and is being used interestingly instead of the "this is a woman doing woman things" and immediatly falling appart when there is a guy. With this video I forgive you for not including her in that list of women in anime xD.

Bungo Stray Dogs is an anime that surprised me! I love the characters, their backstories, their ideals, and their dynamics with each other. And I really love that the mangaka based them off of literary artists too. I still find it kinda funny that the leader of the Guild is based off of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s and his power is “The Great Gatsby” where basically the richer he is the more power he has 🤑 Also Seasons 4-5 are some of the best of BSD I’ve watched! The foot was on the gas and back to back the action and suspense was just nonstop! I just remember every anime and manga fan being so on the edge of their seat for what would happen on the last episode of Season 5 since the anime caught up to the manga at that point 🔥
