Can anyone help, my hyperx cloud 3 broke and i cant decide between jbl 910 or beyerdynamic 700 x pro , need it for listening to music like heavy bass more than gaming ?

I got a new pair of space q 45s last year for 100$, the anc is top tier , bulid quality is 9 out of ten and on an i phone the sound is very good !!!

i was tempted by the soundcore till i heard yamaha yh-l700a, what a headset! thanks for bringing both to my attention. for once, youtube algo did something right. soundcore is close to it but the yamaha has that nice x sound factor to it (wide stage ? can't put it in words, i am not an audiophile just lucky to have audiophile gear) I currently daily hifiman edition xs (which require a dac and wires, not ideal thus looking for a wireless option) the yamaha demo sounded sooooo gooood on the hifiman. Any recommendations on that front ?

Nice explanations (and funny)! This helped me understand separate monitor/headphone mixes. Does each new monitor mix require a pair or L/R outs? I have a Motu 624 and was considering the inexpensive (cheap) Behringer ADA8200 to gain extra inputs via ADAT. I believe the 624 has: x2 1/4" guitar ins, x2 XLR mic ins, and x2 (pair L/R or x4 mono) analog ins, x1 ADAT, x2 (pair L/R or x4 mono?) analog outs, and x1 (pair L/R) main out. I'm cornfused about the inputs on the Behringer ADA8200. They are XLR and say mic/in but also have line/in on each of the 8 inputs. Could you pair these for a stereo input, e.g. use 1 & 2 on the Behringer as an L/R pair for a keyboard, or other instrument that has L/R outs?

If I connect the speakers to the line out, nothing is heard, but on the mixer the lights light up as if the mixer is receiving the sound from the PC, do you have any idea of the problem?

Excellent review! I got these for 130 bucks and a pair of refurbished Bose NC700 for 180 bucks. I returned the Bose and kept the Edifier. They're just more comfortable to me and I like the sound better. Bluetooth connectivity was also a bit more stable compared to the Bose although not completely trouble free. Occasionally they drop connection for half a second or less and sometimes there's a tiny bit of static noise for a second or two. The Bose does this too but much worse even. Too bad we can't use LDAC and multi-point at the same time though. I use headphones exclusively with my pc (windows 11) but after turning LDAC on in the app and reconnecting the headphone to my pc they appear to reset to the default codec again. But I love how they sound so much & that combined with the relatively low price I'm just going to try to live with the imperfections.

Juts a note, even if it's designed for high-voltage mainly - 04:54 it looks like the transformer is not aligned with the PCB outline. Is that after you dropped it or was it potentially broken when received?

I have the multipattern versions sE 4400 and T2, which sound pretty much the same. They are both good on instruments but for percussive instruments I'd go for the titanium version, because of how it handles that. I also like the T2 (and probably the T1) on my own voice (spoken word). I like your review. sE has some great microphones 😊... (like the 2200, Z3300a, Z5600a II, Gemini II, ICIS, Titan, and even cheaper ones like the X1S or X1R) (Note that some of these are no longer available).

Brilliant video, love how you present, sub'd. The only "minor" complaint for my 828 is that the headphone amps aren't suited for my Sennhieser HD 650 (300 ohms).

As others said. These are for high voltage isolation. I used them to connect sw debuggers etc to mains powered equipment. Ive seen laptops and desktops explode without one. Its a safety layer for yourself and your electronics

Good info. MOTU doesn't get enough praise from the UA-cam world, probably because they're not blanketing 1000 channels with things on the day or release. I had an 896HD for 18 years and they only stopped supporting it in 2021 or 2022. It was firewire, but was great. Really $1200 isn't expensive for high quality equipment. I came up in the days of 24 track tape machines that were $30k then. 4 track cassette recorders were hundreds of dollars.

Too bad it doesn't offer MADI

Bought this interface the day of the release. I then purchased a mint condition Midas analog 32 channel console for the price difference of a RME interface with the same feature. Never had an issue!

Is there a smaller version with less I/O but the same versatility and usable as a mixer ? Ultralite mk5 looks kinda similar but I am a little bit worried about the dependency on an app. Would be nice if it was controllable over the midi standard.

To my understanding the adat connectors are already included in the overall count of in and outs. And also the mic inserts are just inserts for the two microphone channels on the front and no input for microphones. Perhaps you can use the output of an external mic preamp to get it into the 828 through those return jacks. But that would interrupt the signal flow from the 828‘s own mic inputs. At least that‘s how my 828 (even if it‘s an older version) works. I have the older firewire versions from motu. And by versions I mean I also have an Ultralite mk3 which can be daisy chained with the 828 mk3 via Firewire in and output.
