However I don't understand what Dr. Einat Wilf is saying at the17:12 mark. She claims King Abdullah was assassinated because he wanted to make peace with Israel. This makes no sense, and has to be incorrect, because King Abdullah was assasintated in 1951. It was his successor, King Hussein, who finally made peace with Israel in 1994, and decades before that, but 16 years after the assassination of his grandfather, Jordan waged war on Israel. It wasn't before Sadat set the precedent of an Arab country making peace with Israel that Jordan even remotely considered doing the same. That little snippet of misinformation about Abdullah wanting to make peace with Israel doesn't really matter in the scheme of her argument, but could tarnish the credibility of the argument as a whole in the opinions of some.
