Ive only used VidIQ to semi guide and the thumbnail tests... Ive only used it for analytics and sure generic use titles help but ive always hated it and I am glad I never payed for the coaching. Ive spent years looking into my channel and how to build channels as a hobby... like how does vidIQ not talk about the google trends site where you can litterally see what people are looking up and how relevant it is ... sure it helps in some cases ... Ive always made my own thumbnails and even studied digital design and I love the fact you took the time to show how it could be improved

I've seen more people blame the source material for the bizarre fan works than I'd like to admit. Too many times I've seen great franchises be hated due to the content farms or fanart as people's first exposure to them, not willing to give the source even 5 minutes of their time. They just automatically hate them as a result of the fan works.

Ngl, I was worried VidIQ might be a scam like Honey because of that title. This video would've been super helpful when I made my first video, so I’m sure it’ll save a lot of new UA-camrs. But yeah, I’ve noticed how bad of a tool it is-I pretty much only use it now to spot outliers.

atleast interminable rooms (on roblox) has a better reason for going inside the place then “contract told you so, now go grab a gun.” simply the entities that originate from the apartment (the main place in this game) massacred a whole city as they (the entities) descended from another planet, but no one who didn’t live in the city that got massacred believed that, so you have to go in the apartment to prove these entities are real, due to them traversing said apartment.

I don't even make videos, but I still use VidIQ because I like seeing the stats it shows on videos I watch.

Thank you very much for this video! I did end up getting VidIQ after watching all their videos on "helping the little guy". One thing to note is that they would give you offers and try to slash the price down to a low to get you into the paid program. Originally, the price was $19(?) or so, but as you are in their email list they would drop the price down to get you onboard. I was offered a price of $7.50 a month locked in for life and took it, only to realise they send a different email to a different account which I had signed on with them that they were offering a $5/mo subscription locked in for life. Now after watching your video and reflecting on the advice they have given me, I have to agree with what you said about this tool. Heck, even if it does help me, I realised that I have learned NOTHING about video creation, getting user attention, thumnail creation, etc. I will check out Doug Doug's video and reset myself to do better. I am not into the gaming niche that you are doing for this channel, but I have dropped a like for helping me to see another side of the tool, and how I can move forward for my youtube journey.

It’s crazy what people will think to do because of not thinking of what is going on. Are all of those content farms because of the original creator? No. Does the original creator even support the content farms? If you look at what they say, no. Then why do you put them through terrible troubles if they AGREE with you about it being bad? The source of the problems isn’t the creator of the original, it’s all of the creators taking advantage of the original. Not saying they should be put through the same, as I don’t think anybody should have their lives ruined, but they’re probably more deserving of it, as they’re the ones causing it.

Heads up - a little rant here I think people fail to realize why they have a modern sense of freedom. Freedom is a privilege that can be taken away, and yet some people don't have consequences to their actions. Which is why the internet is dangerous, people like Pineapple over here don't face the consequences of what should be of their online interactions. They get away with crimes that should be punishable by jail or community service. I personally think that Sprunki is an okay game. And yes it is pretty cringe, which is why it's good. I think people are still trying to understand that even though the internet is anonymous, there are still people behind the screens. People don't understand that cringe is okay, it's okay to be different. I know that it's corny but it's true. If you have a hobby that people think is weird, don't give up. There are people like you that think your interests are awesome and support you for that. And at the end of the day, the internet is full of negativity anyway, so let's just appreciate the good. -thanks for reading this, pretty long, paragraph!

Thanks, I do respect your opinion because AI is constantly changing the algorithm especially since UA-cam is very saturated with different content that deals with self-improvement and automation. I miss the old UA-cam and the vibe since I grew up with the old era of UA-cam. However, vidiq is my favorite tool to use and it might have its up and downs, but I want to make sure I'm making my content right. Personally, ai does takes away creativity and messes with how you structure your video. I'll watch it again for clarity, and Im subscribing to your channel

Great insight video. I looked at VidIQ and quickly realised that it wasn't all they say it is. They are just in the business of taking money from people for a slik looking but flawed product. I'd rather put the hours in myself and feel the sense of achievement. Some say AI is the future but I see it as a flawed technology because it just scrapes information from the internet even if that information is incorrect and spews it out again. I look at UA-cam now and see so many AI generated thumbnails and tiltles so avoid those videos.

So I'm like 31:42 into this video (yes I found your WOC video from this one lmao), and VidIQ sounds like a trainwreck. I USED to use TubeBuddy alot back when tags had way more power in the algo than they do now. In fact, I still have their affiliate link in my descriptions x3. but after what I've seen here I'd better double check and see if they're starting to swallow the AI poison pill. AI as it stands is great AS AN ASSISTANT, but not the "do it all!" thing that VidIQ seems to be pushing. Like if it instead did say, a summary-style pitch instead of a whole script? That might be better. And the fact that it gets so much about games wrong bongles my mind. ChatGPT was the same way -- I asked it about the obscure arcade game THRILL DRIVE and it got the general premise but finer details wrong, which got even more hilarious and off the mark when I asked it to write me a short story centered around the game. X's Grok, on the other hand, was far more superior, getting the general premise and finer details about the game correct, though I didn't ask it for a story punch up. This makes me wonder what model or training VidIQ is using for their product. And the fact that these subpar features are locked behind a paywall, when you can get a basic version of the title generator FOR FREE via UA-cam's Inspire tab in the creator suite, it's just, wow.

I'm about 12:30 into the video but I feel like you and I would be on the same wave length with the game ^^;; When I first got done with it, I thought the game was fantastic, but it really is one of those "the more you think about it, the more issues that crop up" like don't EVEN get me started on the Alarinthia "plot twist" (you know the one) and the logistics of how that plan was supposed to work. The character to character moments are great, but outside of that? Yeah a bit of paring down and more time in the oven. And don't get me started on the art, I could do a whole video on JUST that alone. I'm surprised it took me until now to catch the missing Ulric eye tattoo though! EDIT: Also as far as the "not AI", just look at the credits too. Feyvaras/ZappBeast/Azoth/whatever name they're using now who did the character art IS a legit artist, as is the person who did the backgrounds.

its funny, i have friends who use ai to help them with their channel, writing descriptions, making thumbnails, automatically creating entire shorts, but i've never even needed it. i get more accurate results just doing it myself even though its a bit more work. im sure i'll use it for something someday, but for now im more comfortable just doing it myself

Ya know... If we really look into it, sprunki is a good game and should be a game for kids -Black in my opinion. But the grown ppl should know better than to bully, harass, stalk, and endanger the lives of kids, ESPECIALLY if they are 15, even tho I'm younger than BFlol I know how to handle those situations.
