Of courses, so is Pai Mei. We'll probably never know exactly how Bill failed, because we don't know exactly what Pai Mei's standards are. Bur whatever they are Bill didn't meet them and Beatrix did.

If she stays with Lon she would have been exactly like her mother. Which isn't bad by any measure. She wouldn't be in a horrible marriage but she would be in a loveless marriage. With Noah she can be as free as she wants. I like the part where her mom showed her what she had been through and she said, I hope u made the right choice. One was throwing a baseball, another incredible instant strength, another a total search for knowledge of everything and another creativity and art. Why he blessed me with these things I haven't a clue. Natural abilities are a God given gift.

Beatrix was a natural killing machine. She just needed training from a true master. One will never reach the height of anything without some natural ability. It also takes a master of similar abilities to bring it out and even have the pupil succeed him.That is the highest achievement for a master. Masters have no patience for students without this natural ability. It's just a waste of both their times. I had a photograpy teacher, he had no actual patience for students without a true photographer vision. Its funny but I did a series of photographs of very large standing dead trees. There is actually a beauty in a lot of these trees one can only see without their leaves. I came to this realization while looking for things to photograph. I love how Quentin explained to Lance how Mia is within her rights to step out on him Bc he stepped out on her so many times. She chose Harper Bc she felt like she should’ve been with Harper in the first place remember Harper hooked them up in the first place he kept saying no she not that type of girl you can hurt. However they got hooked up anyways. Harper shouldn't have done it he knew the pain that Lance gave to Mia. But that is why Mia did it she wanted to shoot it straight to his heart and know that his best friend hit his girl soon to be a wife. You heard him in the church he always knew that she would cheat, but he never thought his boy would do it. I don't think Pai Mei really cared about how Bill would've used the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. I think Beatrix was just his greatest student, so he taught her his greatest technique. I think Pai Mei isn't a "bad" teacher, his standards for a student are just stupidly high and somehow Beatrix met those standards.
