Clinton, I saw your instagram post where you posted that you were amused that people would be mad that you said “show up first, actually work 8 hours (instead of being on your phone) be the last to leave….,” I don’t think people are upset about having to work 8 hours. People are upset in the horse industry about being expected to work 12 hour days, six days a week, for basically $5/hr while being paid as a contractor when they would absolutely be classified as an employee by the IRS. This, coupled with recent inflation (things are just more expensive these days and wages haven’t kept up) makes affording basic things such as health insurance, car insurance, and proper nutrition feel like a huge struggle in this type of job. Not to mention, most trainers treat their employees like they are easily replaceable, and while that may be true, to feel under-appreciated by your employer doesn’t bode well for employee longevity. Feel free to argue with me, I’m more than willing to hear your rebuttal.

I met Fred one time about 15 years ago or so when I was a kid, it was at the majestic valley arena in Kalispell MT I was riding mini bulls and my parents and I seen him walking by the side hall and I went up and shook his hand and I believe he signed my hat. It was the first time I met a true star in the sport of rodeo, and he was a great man and very happy to stop and talk to some young kid. Never forgot it

Nothing against Fallon, but she wasn't a rags to riches story. If your parents can afford to buy you a rig and $100K horses to get started...that's not rags. I respect the hell out of what she's built, but she didn't start from nothing. And there's nothing wrong with that. She even says in this interview that they were well off.

I watched this because i love Fallon but it could have taken half the amount of time if they took out all the f bombs. I don't understand the habit of using the same word in every sentence you speak no matter what that word is. It wears a blister on my brain to listen to him talk.
