I'm up to date with the novel and as much as it's inevitable that Bell and Aiz end up together - since she's the REASON for his growth... I absolutely love Lyu and i honestly believe that she's the only one that actually deserves to be with him. With Freya being the third best, Lyu is my number 1 and Aiz 2nd (even though its really easy to overlook her contribution to Bell)

I love how Bell's reasoning are valid. Like he didn't try to justifice her action or judge her past or even treat her like a damsel on distress like the usual MC. Bell saves her bcs Ryu will did the same, and it's already proven twice. First she volunteer on the rescue party to save Bell, and later she help her won againts Appolo familia. And the best part is bcs all of that, Bell is the only one who can say that Ryu is a hero. Like she was blinded by her rage that she even forgot that she can do a good thing ...

It's kinda late but these two definitely look more good together than the other girls

God this show is so underrated. Pretty sure the tile puts alot of people off as they just assume its another Harem Highschool DxD knockoff but it is actually soooo good. the action, the magic system, the world building, the characters the story's involving them and then the actual romance is good. Not just cringe fanservice but actual relationship building that feels natural. It might be a "harem" show on a technicality, but its the first one I've watch that actually is a little realistic in its execution with an MC that works good with it.

I understand that this is a harem anime, okay? I didnt see the relationship between bell and ryu up until the 4th season with the juggernaut. But after watching season 4 i could see that there was a legitimate relationship growing between ryu and bell right after she tells him "you are a human worthy of the highest respect". From there their relationship started growing. Before season 4 came out i wanted bell and haruhime to get together more than anything. After seeing season 4 i would be legitimatly disappointed and lowkey mad if bell and ryu don't end up together. They have been building their relationship in the background for so long and im just now seeing that they deserve each other so much.
